The staff was really friendly. I worked with Marco most of the night, and he was great. You don't need a very large sound system for this venue. They do include Uplights around the room, and even had some simple dance lights for ambience. Food was also tasty. For vendors, the setup was fairly easy. I got a spot in the shopping center parking lot, and was able to load right in. It looked like there was free street parking as well. They also do have an adjacent location for ceremony in the same shopping center that has similar decorations and theme. It looked nice as well from a quick glance inside.

Saw a Candlelight Fleetwood Mac string quartet concert in the most beautiful Protestant church I've…read morebeen in. The stained glass windows, oversized lamps, tiled sanctuary path, the wooden vaults inspire awe. Unexpected comfort, the pews have seats. The organizers let us walk around before the concert exploring. We took photos from the balcony and got a closer look at the architectural beauty. On our way to the restrooms, we found a modern hallway with some contemporary art. The concert sounded great and was well arranged. During the first song I cried. The musicians (who played 2 violins, a cello and a viola) shared about themselves and how they got started. All were very appreciative of the audience's support of the arts.. This is my second Candlelight concert. and this venue is hard to top. It's a historical landmark, with many movies filmed on site and My Chemical Romance's "Helena" music video. My friend was so taken with the set up, she wants to get married here - no flowers needed just thousands of candles. The candles are battery operated but look real. Since you buy a section ticket and first come, first seated, we arrived 45 mins before doors opened and sat in the first row of section B. Church parking was $15 cash and a nightmare to leave, but we found metered parking.

Passing by the Church you would think that the church is a Korean denomination. However when you…read morelook closely at the signage, there seems to be 2 church's that meet here on the property. One is led by Pastor Ee of LACC primarily a Korean language church but holds an english language service, the other is led by Pastor Davis of Central Christian Chruch and holds one english service at 10:00AM. I went to Central Christian Chruch. I first came by about a decade back when they were meeting at another location. I was originally looking around, going church to church looking for a fit for me. I came one Sunday before service started, and was invited by the Pastor and church members to join them for coffee, snacks and a conversation. That seems small, but I went to a couple of places beforehand where I would just stand around, or take a seat in the pew without much welcome. That stood out to me. The service itself was great, there was a great effort made to take note of celebrations and prayers for the day, and a brief interlude so everyone could say hello if they arrived late, or just had to stretch their legs. The music was great, you didn't feel lost because there were both hymnals and lyrics on the screen to follow along with. And if you didn't feel like singing that day, no one thought any different. They asked for donations like any church, but remind people to not hurt themselves to help the church, something that resonated with me at the time because I did not have a lot of money to give. I didn't feel like I would be judged or someone would tell me God would judge me that day because I had money only for food and not for tithe and I don't think I was. The sermon is usually always on target for me. From relating to you through a personal story that the Pastor experienced at some point, to getting down to the fine print of the book of John, the sermon was on point and doesn't leave you feeling confused about the content or lost in religious terminology, he doesn't go off on a side trail much and sticks to the main road. I'm not educated on the lectionary of Christianity, or educated on religious matters but through the years I have learned a decent amount through sermons and bible studies due to the Pastor's preaching abilities and skills. The people in the congregation is one of my favorite things about this church. Some of them are older, some are younger. Millennials, Baby Boomers, Gen X, Z and all in between come to this church. Some of them could be more conservative in their views of church, some of them more liberal and some who flip flop around. Some are from LA, some from outside the US. Even with all of these differences, compromise is something I've seen occur in this church time and time again. The ability to worship and commune regardless of any differences in such a magnificent way, due to a greater belief. Politics isn't something they obsess over either. That's one of the reasons I come here to this day, because it doesn't matter if you're registered as a an (I), a (D), or an (R), the only thing that matters is the Love for Jesus, and following his works and word the best we humans can. The church a few years ago moved to the current location it worships at today. They share the site with a Korean congregation, and both belong to the same denomination, the Disciple's of Christ. Both church's are filled with wonderful people who do great acts, but driving by or walking by you could make the mistake that there is only a Korean language speaking church here. That's not the case. CCC is a wonderful place to worship if you're worried about any eyes judging you or your quirks, because people will be more excited to learn about and hang out with you than judge you and your quirks. A great church to attend if you get out of bed a little late, and don't feel like dressing up. A great church if you want to perform service for all people. Great people, great Pastor, great pianist and overall a great church.

If you are looking for an officiant who will work with you to make your service exactly as you want it, a staff who genuinely cares, you will not be disappointed here! As this is a second ( and last!) marriage for my husband and me, we really wanted our wedding to be intimate and meaningful. Greg really understood our wishes, sent us numerous ceremonies to consider, and pick and choose which parts of any or all of them we wanted to use for our own wedding. Thank you to the church, staff, and Pastor Greg, for making our wedding exactly as we wanted and so beautiful!

My wedding was the first one to be held at their chateau (after their own which I also attended). Theirs was much larger than mine and included a dance floor (which covered the pool) and I was amazed at how many people the backyard could hold. But my own wedding was on the smaller side (50ish guests) and we opted to play games in lieu of dancing. Everyone at our wedding loved the whole vibe and 2 1/2 years later, I'm still getting compliments on the amazing venue. Our wedding was movie-themed, so it was absolutely perfect to hold it in the Hollywood hills with a view of the Hollywood sign included. I highly recommend this venue for your next event! It will surely surpass your greatest expectations. And finding a venue as beautiful in the LA area can cost an arm and a leg, so I don't think you'll find a better venue for the price!

He was very responsive and flexible with us, with the wedding being planned in a one month time span and with my fiancé and I being two states apart.
