I found this shop on Yelp last fall. When I came by, the shop front door was locked. I called and left a voicemail and had a call back from the owner, Jerry, within 5 minutes; he explained they are mostly by appointment only but that Yelp does not allow business owners to list that unless they have their own website. Jerry framed my certificate in Women in Leadership from eCornell with red velvet matting and a gold frame at a very reasonable price. He was very helpful in showing which materials he could use for the job. I was/am extremely happy with the end product and I recommend his services. I had a really hard project for Jerry. We had some little prop pieces left over from a movie that we needed mounted and then put in a shadow box. I had tried another frame place before finding his shop and they just couldn't grasp what I wanted, acted like I was asking for the moon and quoted me a very, very high price. So I decided to try Jerry and he made this seem like he does this in his sleep. Well, admittedly, he doesn't take on projects like this too often because they are time consuming, but I am SO grateful he did. It came out better than expected and very fast. I can't actually post a photo of his work since it's from a movie, but I can tell you it is gorgeous. He was very communicative and made sure we got exactly what we asked for and charged a more than fair price. Go here! Trust Jerry. My friend was having an Up Themed wedding, so I wanted to get her something that would be really special. Jerry did an amazing job. He was really easy to work with. I had never done custom framing, so I was scared it was going to be so expensive. I told Jerry my budget and he was able to work within that budget. I believe I paid about $80 - $100, I can't remember exactly. The color's he suggested tied so well with the poster. I'm a procrastinator and I didn't give him the project till a few days before the wedding. He got the job done in 2 days. I was really impressed. I went to see Jerry, who owns NoHo Gallery and Framing for the first time earlier this week and he was great! I had a couple of photos I wanted to frame and he was really honest and said that they were standard-sized photos and unless I wanted to do something really fancy, I was better off just buying some frames elsewhere. I also brought in a frame with a collage that had broken and he said he could fix it for me. Otherwise the photos which had been cut to size would have been useless. And he did! Bought the back piece a day later when he went to his supplier and was able to cut it to fit perfectly. Jerry's very helpful and reasonable. I dropped off 3 paintings to be framed back in 2016, however I screwed up and I never came back to pick them up... Now in 2022, I called to apologize and pay for the work they did. Not only were they incredibly kind and forgiving, but they still had my paintings (and invoice) after all these years!!!! I wish I could give more than five stars. I needed to create a shadow box for some 1/2" scale model figures of the cast of a TV show I had worked on as a gift for the show runner. Jerry started by saying he couldn't do it because it would be too complicated but as he began to explain why he wouldn't do it he started to get interested in the project, his creative juices started flowing, and within a few minutes we were looking at a beautiful double frame combination that Jerry suggested. More than satisfied. I had this 30x40 oil painting seating in my attic for a while, and decided to frame it but. I had no idea how to pick the right frame that not only wouldn't ruin the picture but also will emphasize it and will go with my living room's decor. The only place for my framing needs which used to be in Glendale for years and now it moved to North Hollywood. This is the only place I take my paintings to frame. Prices are very low to compare to the other places where they want to charge you a fortune for a frame. Large selection of frames. I got quotes from Michael's, Aaron Brothers and a couple other frame shops in the area and they all wanted three to FIVE TIMES more than what Jerry charged me at NoHo Art Gallery. I got a 12 3/4" by 19.5" (really unusual sized) print with glare free glass and a 24" by 20" print framed with regular glass for $60. That $60 for both -- not $60 each. Michael's wanted to charge me close to $200 for the same style of wood frame and glass for my odd-sized print. Gross. I'm only going here from now on. Unless you work at another framing store, you should too. read more
