I was looking to have my certificate from the California state supreme court (aka state bar license) framed. It was an awkward size so I couldn't just buy a frame and put the certificate inside. This was my second time using UFrame-it. This time, I brought in a vintage, one of a kind, 1954 lithograph with an existing frame that I wanted to re-use. According to them, this was no problem to the folks at U-Frame-It. "They do this all the time", they said. Well, wait until you see what they do all the time. When I went to pick it up, they handed it to me without even so much of an explanation, and this was the person I was working with! After my utter dismay, they did take responsibility and had my piece restored, and surprise, it will never be the same. What REALLY aggravated me was that the owner, Adrianna Cruz-Ocampo INSISTED that since there was nothing wrong with the frame job (again, I supplied the frame) that I should still pay for their reframing job. Basically I paid for them to ruin my art. If I had the time I would stand outside their business with a sign warning others of my experience. read more

I had a very good experience at this shop. I came in on a Friday, they helped me pick the frame (from a giant selection), and gave me an estimated completion date. When the day came, as promised, they called me and told me the order is complete. I respect professionalism of this sort where a person keeps their word and is communicative with the client without the client needing to follow up to find out what is going on. With other frame shops, I've consistently had to follow up to check on the status of the frame and they have usually been unresponsive and missed the deadlines they said they would adhere to. U-Frame-It-Gallery on the other hand, was prompt and responsive. I will definitely be back in the near future to have other paintings framed here. read more

Don't even bother looking anywhere else. What you get at this gallery is expert, personalized service. I commissioned an artist to create a one-sheet poster for a D&D campaign we were finishing up. I had previously had some artwork framed here, and Inna again truly came through. She spent at least a solid hour with me, indulging me and my indecisiveness with a smile on her face and expert advice. I could not be happier with where we ultimately landed. The frame is gorgeous and honestly as much as part of the artwork as the painting itself. I couldn't recommend U-Frame It more highly. read more

it's been almost a year since i had these pieces framed by u-frame-it and i've been thrilled with them! they were so kind and helpful during the process, and you can tell how much care they put into what they do. some of the posters i brought were vintage and therefore very fragile and hard to replace, but i felt great about leaving them in their hands. love that it's a family business and everyone is involved. the turn around for custom orders was lightning fast as well. browsing their showroom made me excited to collect more art since they have such a huge selection of really unique and ornate frame designs. i will be back soon!! read more
