Note - You must sign the google doc before entering since it's private property. Do it before you arrive online since signal is spotty!

Well, the "shop" is actually a small trailer beside their lanai, which they were busy setting up for lunch for their farm workers. How cool was that? I don't think anyone is supposed to be there when there is no Tea Tasting Event, but they were gracious enough to accomodate us and even allowed us to buy tea drinks. Like they made it for us and served it! I might have ruined it for everyone else now though and they will make sure that they are closed outside of the event times. Sorry! The LOVE POTION TEA was weirdly soothing. Felt like I was wrapped in a blanket indoors looking out of a window on a rainy day. The TROPICAL HIBISCUS felt like I was in a tropical island. Oh wait... Anyway, I love how I couldn't really pinpoint the flavors, but the feelings the tea evoked is clear. Tasted, and bought, some honeys too. Interesting take on the honeys. They had spices and nuts so they were more like marmalades that honeys that you could add to your teas. The garden is beautiful. The property was amazing with 8 bedrooms (4 upstairs and 4 downstairs), a huge kitchen, a family room, sitting room and media room there was plenty of room for everyone. It was beautifully kept and was stocked with towels, toys, and sports equipment. The house manager was readily available to answer any questions. The walk down to Secret Beach has 360 steep stairs so it was a workout getting back up but the beach is breaking and very quiet although you may see a little bit of nude bathing. The house offers the most amazing views of the ocean, sand and lighthouse. I would highly recommend!

The common areas were big enough for all of us to hang out, and the back porch, overlooking the pool and back yard, was a wonderful place to hang. The grounds are spectacularly landscaped and amazing to walk around - tons of fruit trees, huge bamboo stands, enormous fileds of grass, pickleball court, basketball court, and tropical vegetation, all beautifully maintained. We used the pool and hot tub extensively, day and night. There were tons of beach gear - chairs, snorkeling gear, etc. The public path immediately behind the house was a great dway to get exercixe, running from the dog park to beautiful Stone Dam, and in an offshoot, to the playground and mini golf course, where there's also a Saturday farmer's market. It's a ery short drive to Kilauea and maybe 15 minutes to Princeville and Hanalea and 20 to Kapa'a in the other direction. There is also a fully stocked gym that some of the group used. Outside the gym, there is a gorgeous mediation or just relaxing area, with spectacular landscaping, a little waterfall, and a Buddha, lit at night. A really great place to stay. And Glenn was very responsive to our needs.
