I constantly recommend it to my friends who do not know about it. The staff, manager and volunteers, couldn't be nicer or more helpful. During Covid, they have implemented all the precautions required/recommended including masks, plexiglass shield at checkout and arrows to help us wend our way through the magic safely. Anyone who says those things are not there must either have been somewhere else or is lying. It is a great place that is such a fun way to be able to contribute to those in need in our community. I trekked to Hamden earlier this year and when I went here, they had some cool stuff. I found a couple of good things that I liked. The clothing selection is decent, book selections are a little iffy. There's literally so much space that could be used to keep merchandise in these areas. Service is really good. I think this Salvation Army is better than other ones I've been to.
