Came here for a gel mani, pedi and eyebrow wax as it was near my hair stylist. The service was fine until it was time for my eyebrows. Mia waxed my brows and didn't place her hand down to cool the skin after removing the strip. I didn't say anything and placed my own hand to cool the skin. I checked my brows using my camera when she signaled that she was done and told her that my right brow needs trimming as there were some hairs taller than the others. She visibly gets upset, starts speaking Vietnamese and walks away in a huff. Another lady comes and trims the hairs. This level of service was unwarranted and off putting. Do not come here unless you'd like to deal with these attitudes. 0 stars. read more

The nail tech spent half the session on a call, which felt unprofessional, and then forcefully shoved my hand further into the UV light even though it was already in place, causing my nail to smudge. Noire Nails and lash bar is super modern and clean. Love the elegance to this place but needs work on hospitality. Did not offer drinks like other places, and rush pedicures. I had asked for square nails and she tried but wasn't exactly square. The girl that did my toes also cut them to short and now my toes look fat. I loved the esthetic of the place but I will not go back as they don't do a good job at listening to customers about length and shape. My nail technician delivers exceptional service, she is very nice and details. The salon has a very clean and welcoming atmosphere. They use disposable kits for the pedicure and have so many pedicure options. I got an organic pedicure with a real orange and extra massage, feels very nice and relaxing. My nail tech was actually Hannah and I did not like my service at all. She did not use cuticle remover/softener on my cuticles, and she does not have much expertise in French nails. Hannah did not bother using a metal foot file on me and on top of that she removed ALL my previous gel polish with a drill. This was the worst pedicure that I have received from this salon and when I saw that she wasn't doing a good job on the paint, I told her if I could just do one color. Later on, I changed my mind and decided to leave with no nail polish. She did not put oil or lotion on my legs and she did not put any cuticle oil on my toes, she was in fact mad that I did not like her work and she drilled off my gel AGAIN. She drilled my nails TWICE in one day. Which you can obviously see now that my nails are damaged. She was lazy because she chose to remove the initial gel that I had on with a drill instead of soaking it off. My very first time I came here, a different technician also didn't use a metal foot file on me and then another time that I came, a different technician cut my toe really bad and it was swollen, red, and hurting for over a week. I have posted 2 photos showing how I left my service today with damaged crusty toe nails and the 3rd photo is from when I got cut really bad at a past appointment. read more

There were no downsides, Jessica did my nails and they came out perfect. It was a very simple design, basically just a french tip on acrylic nails but she was quick in a good way, not a rushed way. I've had my nails done at other places (not noire nail's, this was my first time) and sometimes the nails end up thick, a nail breaks off too soon, or the person takes wayyy too long to do them, but yeah these nails came out perfect. It's been like a week and a half and all my nails are still on. Another lady did my toes and those came out perfect as well. I also liked that Jessica checked in with me throughout to make sure I thought the nails were looking good. I called back to get a breakdown of the pricing and it took a minute for me to understand, but the man I spoke with was patient and understanding (I was just wanting to know how they price their services like nail shape, design, etc so I'd be mentally prepared for the next visit). I decided to try a new salon close to home and was extremely disappointed. At first, Lux(?) was very nice and helpful in deciding a design. But it all went downhill from there. This was the most painful nail appointment I've ever had. She removed my old acrylics by aggressively shoving a nail under the acrylic that was still attached to my nail bed causing me to wince in pain. She applied heart sequins with a glue and had me put my hands in the uv light and it felt like my nails were on fire instantly, I couldn't keep my hand in the light at all, it almost brought me to tears. And when it came time for her to file down the acrylic, she cut my cuticles so bad she drew blood on 6 fingers. It got to the point that I told her if she was not confident that she could finish my nails without hurting me, then she needed to stop and have someone else finish them. To top it all off, when she finally did finish my nails, she applied cuticle oil to my bleeding fingertips and then put that applicator right back in the bottle. That is extremely unsanitary. I am extremely disappointed to say the least and my cuticles were swollen and sore for days. read more
