New favorite nail salon I recently moved to the area and needed to find a new manicurist, so I made an appointment at Envy Nails with Lynn -- and I couldn't be happier. For context, today is January 13 and I had my nails done almost two weeks ago. They still look fantastic: **no chipping, the shine is still there, and even my toenail polish hasn't chipped**, which is rare for me. The staff was extremely personable and welcoming. Lynn is a wonderful manager and made sure everything ran smoothly. We were offered beverages (water or wine -- I chose wine, of course ), which was a really nice touch. My boyfriend and I both had manicure and pedicure services. I got gel nails, and he did a buff and shine. Everything was done with great attention to detail, and the results have held up beautifully. I only wish I had taken photos right after the appointment because they looked amazing -- but honestly, the longevity speaks for itself. Ummm, it was okay. Paid $70 for a deluxe pedicure (with callus removal) and manicure. Neither lasted four days without chipping or disappearing. While at the shop, I had to point out that the nails weren't fully painted. However, the woman immediately fixed them. Quick to get an appointment but that was with any available tech I'm assuming. A little bit of a language barrier with the tech that I had. I asked for round nails and he gave me square which is a little different for me, I always get round. Oh well. I asked for gel top coat on my dip powder but he ended up using the regular dip top coat at first. I really hate how the dip top coat gets dull after a couple days so I thought I would have to specifically ask for the gel top coat. It was no big deal for me I just felt bad I had to have him redo it for me. But other than that everyone was very nice. read more

I appreciated how the manager took time to get to know each customer and made sure I received the best possible service. She checked in on me multiple times and it was greatly appreciated. I showed my tech a picture of a potential style and I appreciate that she didn't hesitate to give it a try. She did an awesome job might I add. My only feedback is that my tech assumed that I wanted a basic pedicure instead of asking. I don't mind saving a few bucks but I would've gladly chosen one of the better options. This review is for the girlies that are particular about their nails. I was visiting from out of town and in a bind to get my nails done before an event. This review is specifically for the male technician who did my nails Saturday 6/8. The overall result was not great, there was a lack of attention to detail and nail technique knowledge. The callus remover portion of the pedicure was mid and he barely scrubbed my feet but it was the nail portion that has me about to run to my regular nail lady to fix. I got acrylic full set and aside from him not shaping the top of my nail well after pointing out it was uneven, I had to ask the manager to get him to clean under my nail with the drill when he said he couldn't. There was no real cleaning/shaping up of acrylic around the cuticle. This caused my skin around my nail to feel tight against the acrylic and lead to lifting of the acrylic now just 4 days later. Please take this opportunity to coach this technician so this doesn't happen to someone else. **updated stars to a 4 because I appreciate the response and if I was local I think they would redo read more

They're really patient with helping us pick out our colors and what we wanted. I personally change my mind like 800 times about what I wanted at first I only wanted my nails painted because I'm not really into getting my nails done and I like to keep them short but then I decided to get a very short style with acrylics and they did a really good job. The nails I have are oval shaped and very short because once can I do not like getting my nails done and I hate long nails. I was worried that they wouldn't get the length right but they did. Nice shop inside and seemed like it would be great due to the reviews. I came in around 5pm on a Monday and felt really rushed by a younger nail tech.... It was not busy. No nice greeting or communication about what I wanted done. I had to ask for the colors and types of services once I was sat down for my pedicure. I also told her multiple times that I wanted a certain color and she did it correct on my toes but did the wrong color on my fingers. So they did not match. I noticed the wrong color at the end when I looked at the dip container. It was too late to ask for a redo especially since I felt she was rushing me. My dip nails chipped within a week and few of my cuticles were bleeding afterwards. Probably due to her trying to just get the work done quickly. read more

The lady doing my nails was nice but no soaking of the nails was done instead she popped them off with an acrylic tip. Which why I would spend money to get my nails ripped off when I could have easily done that at no cost from the comfort of my own home is beyond me. Regardless I thought well $5 isn't bad. When i got to the counter I was charged $15 and told it was because I didn't get any other service accompanied with it.
