They recently opened and I had my first appointment yesterday. It's a huge, beautiful, sparkling clean establishment with a huge row of pedicure lounge chairs and nail stations. There are also hair stations for the future and private rooms for things like eyelash extensions and waxing. Similar to Southern Swings, they offer you bevvies (they have a little bar set-up, which is so cute) and a little cup of nuts. I love the nice touches! Facts: I had the best pedicure in years here! As in, super thorough and they even do callus removal and hot towel wrap as part of the most basic option ("Refresh"). I don't love getting pedicures (my issue), but this was so relaxing and my feet feel like buttah. I needed new claws and had Halloween on the brain, so I showed a photo of candy corn nails, super pointed and long(ish). I'm in love with my nails and can't stop looking at them. They have a 10% special now, but even without that, the price is so reasonable, a rarity these days. Nicki, the owner, gave me my mani/pedi and she is just lovely. I couldn't be happier with this new salon and I'm so thankful they are now in the neighborhood. I can't wait to go back!

The outside looks really small but upon walking in, it opens to a decently sized room with a place for make up and hair, a private room for tanning, a few stations for manicures, and several chairs for pedicures. I really liked the overall aesthetic of the place. The whole place was well lit and airy, without the usual chemical smell of most nail salons, and that immediately impressed me. Nails: I chose a gel manicure with round edge and OPI blush pink (I don't remember the exact color name). Each nail edge was appropriately cut round. Each layer of paint was smooth and well-pigmented. It adequately covered the sides of my nails without over painting. The edges were nice and straight. Lighter colors are harder to cover without being streaky and the manicurist did a great job. My cuticles were cut appropriately, not too little and not too much. Service: I walked in without an appointment and was immediately serviced! I had Ann do my gel manicure. She was very gentle and sweet. I was looking for a nude color that had just the right amount of color but did not completely blend with my skin. She tried several swatches on me and we decided the blush pink was the nicest one. She made sure to soak my fingers and lotion them up before proceeding to cut the cuticles. She was extra gentle and did not cut too much. I told her that I had previous manicurists who cut too much and made me bleed. However, she assured me she would be careful. She was super friendly and great to talk to. She also made sure that I was happy with the length and shape of nails. Each layer of paint was done confidently and carefully, without rushing. And at the end, I got some hot rocks to warm up the fingers on a cold day. Overall: I highly recommend this salon. It is beautiful, clean, and does not have the typical chemical smell of most nail salons. Ann was extremely professional and careful with my nails.
