****PLEASE READ!! **** Never been to stores like this because they're shady They proved me right!!! They slick and take cards from customers behind the counter and they don't even put them on the receipt. Call the cops to file a report will call the better business bureau and the irs on them literally been there 3 times in one week and they down bad got me with over $200 worth of cards l!!! Please don't leave your cards out of your sight or walk around while they're have them, also count your cards even tho I knew exactly what I had that's why I'm here!!! I do NOT recommend to go to this store at all!!! All employees are with each other and have each others back they all work together as a group to scam and take ppl cards without them knowing it. I'm lucky enough to have friends that told me I was missing cards in my stack and on my receipt that they didn't even paid for. DO NOT GO HERE!! When I asked to watch surveillance cameras owner got all defensive and started talking louder arguing back and forth, like I said the girl and the other two employees all work together moving ur cards from one place to another pulling cards under the table!!! Decided to get back into the TCG hobby after quitting Magic The Gather back in 1997. My barber suggested that if I want to buy singles stop by PokeNOLA since he also shops there. Soon as I walked in I was blown away by the aesthetics of the business. It reminded me of a Pokemon shop that you would find in Japan. The essence of Pokemon. The staff was very helpful especially I had no idea about the Pokemon market. Brenton (apology if I misspelled your name) assisted me throughout the whole time I was there which was close to an hour. I told him I was mainly a hobbyist and also at the same time making potential investments in Pokemon. He began answering all my questions and giving me advice which singles to look out for. The owners are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet, and they already know me by name when I come by. They've helped me build up a huge part of my collection and are always happy to talk cards, answer questions, or just share that nostalgic Pokémon energy. After getting ripped off for some of my old stuff by a DIFFERENT local card shop it's nice to know there's a friendly and fair shop in town. Great selection of cards and other sealed. Pokenola is a DIAMOND of a shop. The staff is incredible. They are friendly, helpful, attentive and knowledgeable. They have some amazing singles in the cases, the old school toys, the manga, just a ton of cool stuff to look at. They also have a really fun claw machine!
