AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Completely unacceptable way to run a business…read more I placed an order online for a new car key, paid for it, and then received absolutely no meaningful update about shipping. After waiting and seeing no movement on the order, I finally had to call them myself, multiple times, just to find out what was going on. Only then was I told there was apparently a "mistake" on their website and they didn't actually have the key I had already paid for. What I find most disturbing is that nobody contacted me to tell me this. They had my money, couldn't fulfill the order, weren't shipping anything, and apparently had no plan to proactively notify me or issue a refund. When I directly asked whether they were simply planning to keep my money indefinitely if I hadn't called, the person I spoke with couldn't even give me an answer. That's outrageous. Mistakes with inventory happen. What is NOT acceptable is taking a customer's money for a product you can't provide and then failing to contact them, update the order, or promptly refund their money. Had I not repeatedly followed up myself, I genuinely don't know how long they would have held onto my payment. The entire experience felt incredibly poorly managed and completely eroded my trust in this company. Based on my experience, I would absolutely not order from them again. Avoid this company and take your business somewhere that actually communicates with its customers and fulfills the orders it accepts payment for.

Omar does not honor the warranty on key fobs purchased through him. In May 2025, I purchased 2 keys…read morefobs for my truck for $250. Omar said the warranty on the fobs was good for 1 year. In March 2026, the fobs stopped working properly. When I went to Omar, he initially said he would charge $125 to replace them but I insisted they were under warranty so he eventually said he would order 2 new keys. When I went back to get the new key fobs. He proceeded to reprogram the old ones (which still didnt work properly) and give me a third key that was not the right type. When reminded that he was not honoring the warranty and providing 2 new fobs like had said he would, he replied that the dealer would charge more. And when I pointed out that the new fob wasn't even the right one, he said that was all he had. I feel scammed by Omar who did not honor his warranty and did not live up to what he said he would do. I would not recommend using Omar and Golden Locks at all. Despite your response Omar, the fact remains you failed to honor your initial statement that you would order 2 new key fobs, since both fobs were under warranty. Known issue aside, if the product is under warranty, then honor that warranty and provide a full in-kind replacement. You said you would order two and never did. Thats not acting in good faith. And then you only provided one key instead of two, since both fobs stopped working, and that fob did not have all the functions and is not a true replacement. And to expect me to accept the loss of the remote start function (which I actually use) is ridiculous. Honoring your warranty should not be a "courtesy" but instead an essential part of any business operating with integrity. You did not live up to your word and you did not honor your warranty.

He was helping someone else and it was taking a bit of time so he stopped and asked if he could help us. We just needed 2 car keys made. It was done in 2 minutes and we were out the door. I know locksmith generally do not have the best reputations but this business was contrary to that. They were awesome with customer service, friendliness, and quality. Our keys worked perfectly. This company is super honest and straightforward with their pricing and were at my car in 25mins gave me extra keys also. I had locked myself out of my Ford F150 they came and unlocked it and gave me two new sets of keys that were better than my old keys. For no extra charge they gave me a newer style and better quality. While they were here I was so impressed I had them also give me an extra key for my Lexus which they did in no time at all. If I could give 10 stars I would honest hard-working people!!!
