Fast forward to today, we own a car and decided it was time to find a more local option. After visiting Hawks View this past weekend I can say we've accomplished that and then some. This place sits firmly in the sweet spot of not being too "dinky" or small and not being too stuffy or corporate. I know we all have our preferences, I just like for my environment to be laid back or relaxed. The wines are fantastic here. Keep in mind, I'm no connoisseur of fine wine but I do know good from bad. Beyond the wine, we love this place due to the view (of course) but also the fact you can parlay your wine allocation pick up with a rotating menu of food. Makes for a great little weekend getaway or drive in the car.

Alloro has beautiful views whether you sit inside or outdoors, the beautiful full of pollinators, just added to the beauty. It was such a treat and they have events going on to enhance the experience like enjoying chestnuts grown on their property in the winter. This is a must try and the employees are amazing. After letting them know I'd like to give them money, they assuredly let me know I may or may not receive service.
