This is my second time here, but I really enjoy their Friday nights. Between 5 and 9 PM the live music and the rotating food truck is a perfect way to end a week. Staff was courteous and the sunset could not have been better. read more

delicious wine (tried a bottle of "defiance") and beautiful views at the winery. however, the service is not great--not welcoming, and didn't advertise about wine tastings (flights) being unavailable after 4 on fridays in summer. disappointed in our willamette valley experience as this was the only winery stop we were able to make on our trip. also we had to drink in plastic cups or pay for glasses. read more

tl;dr - amazing view, relaxed atmosphere, good white wines I came here for a friend's birthday and it was pretty awesome! The views were absolutely amazing because you get a view of the valley. It wasn't really busy so the atmosphere was really relaxed. Everyone there was super friendly and made us feel really welcome. The wines were nice with the whites being my favorites out of the flight I had. If you buy a bottle, you get a free tasting which is a great deal! read more

Avidity, one of the best new wineries, is must on your wine country tasting list! They have outstanding wines, friendly hosts, and one of the best views in the area! Owners, Rich & Julie, and their team are warm & welcoming. 1 star for views, 1 star for the wine, 0 for customer service. Nice views, solid wines, but the customer service is terrible. The owners are the most unfriendly people we've ever encountered at a winery. We were there with friends who live in the area and they were embarrassed they took us there. As we stood in line chatting, the couple in front of us were obvious club members tasting through wines and picking up a case of wine they bought. The owners didn't even know who they were, couldn't find them in their system and they treated them rudely, coldly and as if the club members were a hassle. In talking with the friendly couple (in their 30s), they had been club members for over 2 years and said that happens most of the time they come in (the owners don't recognize them, nor do they treat them with kindness). They did state the other staff are usually very friendly and know they are club members the moment they walk in. Baffled why they stay in the wine club, we asked, but they said they like the wines, the views and have concerts at the winery on Fridays, apparently. No special club dinners or events except a discount on wine. They need to hire staff that go above and beyond for customers, especially club members. We weren't treated any differently, but after witnessing how club members who buy cases of wine a year are treated, I would never join their club. We belong to several wine clubs in Napa/Sonoma and are treated with respect and invited to special dinners and events for club members only. This place has the personality of a cold insurance office out to take your money. We won't be returning, nor will our friends who live locally. read more

The drive up the driveway revealed a spectacular view of rolling hills, mountains, and vineyards. We liked the new tasting room at Avidity Wines for its relaxed, casual atmosphere. We sat out in the adirondacks and were treated to an incredible view high atop Parrett Mountain. Between Sherwood and Newberg it's easy to get to off Hwy 99 and Haugen Road. The stories of their Runway Red and 32 Corners make drinking this wine fun, and if you like Rose, you'll love the Whole Lotta Rose! Incredible view. Great wine. Fun and family-owned. I could not take my eyes off the stunning view. Sunset was just stunning. They have a great selection of wines. We opted for bottle services, Pinot Rośe being one of the selections and it paired very well with the stunning view. We bought few bottles to bring home. You can see some wild life while watching the sunset and they are harmless. Staff here are awesome and extremely friendly. So glad we found this vineyard and it was worth the 45min drive from Portland.

Service was delightful (we didn't catch the name of our wine expert- but she was extremely sweet and knowledgeable). We sat outside at two adirondack chairs with a small table. My husband and I each ordered a wine tasting and one charcuterie board. The wine tasting was $20 a piece, waived with the purchase of 2 bottles. The wine bottles we tried ranged from $27 to $50 or $60 (not sure, as they did not have any printed menus for the latest tasting). We thought, from their website and yelp, that we would have both tastings waived with the purchase of 2 bottles. However, she only waived one tasting when we purchased two wines. Overall, a pleasant experience. We enjoyed the selection of wines, mostly reds with one white. The charcuterie board was small, but only $10 and it was good for nibbling. There is lots of seating both indoors and out, and it's nice to not have to make a reservation!

Also, I am not able to recover any of my photos for this winery... FYI, 7/31/22 is their last weekend, as they are moving the tasting room to another location. See website. Quality/Quantity - Good, very small tasting room. One of only 2 customers. Everyone here is friendly, both the team members and the other customer(s)!! Atmosphere - Hard to find, maybe this is what makes this place more special? Off the beaten path. So if you do not like crowds, this is the place for you. Small vineyard, with a small tasting room. May 2022 hours = Open 5 days a week from 11am to 5pm; closed Tue & Wed. Current hours = 11am to 4pm; Thursdays are appointments only. Future hours at their new location = TBD. Service - Good. Price - Complimentary tasting + tip, as we were guests of our friends. Oh, we got some snacks, gifts, and bottles of wine; but it must not have been expensive as I do not recall how much I paid. Or was it due to excessive wine day drinking?? Owner Comment - Congrats on all your successes for the last 25+ years. This place was on our list because it was so close to our first tasting place, but nothing really…read morejumped out at us other than the proximity. Upon sipping the first wine (2019 patron valley Pinot) which is the perfect pizza or "porch pounder" wine, I knew this would be a good place. The 2014 estate Pinot is to die for, but it's club only, so we didn't end up taking it home, but their club is a really good deal. For $75 you get access to the club with no bottle purchase quotas. You simply get to enjoy two free tastes or glass pours per visit and a whopping 35% off bottles (WHAT?). We also got crackers and rogue creamery cheese to snack on and it was the perfect visit under our own personal heat lamp. Can't wait to come back in the summer. The views aren't the best, but I can excuse that with the quality of the wine and the friendliness of the tasting associates.

We really did only stop for a glass of wine, so I can just say that it was enjoyable. It was just too quiet here to feel really comfortable even having a conversation. It's not a big place and without even light music you feel very loud when you're the only customers in here. It's a cute place and if it were busier I probably would have felt more comfortable.
