CBR Pizza and a side salad.

This is a great spot to get a beverage and a meal while waiting for traffic to clear. The service was awesome and the beer was delicious. Enjoyed sitting in the sun with a pizza and a beer. Will definitely be back. Locally owned and a fun small business worthy of your support.

The ambiance is great, I prefer sitting outside where it's quieter and the servers do a great job of checking up on you. There's not a *ton* of drink options but what they have is great. I wish they had more ciders though! I come here a lot with friends and coworkers and highly recommend it. The food is so-so. Usually undercooked, but it's bar food so they're not going to be the star items.

I'm glad I stopped in at vanguard for some satisfying brew and friendly ambiance. I very much respect the full pints! 16oz pours with room for head. You love to see it!

We had a great first experience here. The lady bartender was very attentative and friendly. We sat outside with our dog. They have leash hooks and dog water bowls. Nothing real special about this place, menu is pretty on par with other brewery menus and prices were fair. It's kinda isolated (in an industrial area) I really hope they make it cause beer and food were good. Won't drive far to come back, but if we're ever in the area again then probably.

Drinks are great! Food is not. Burger is clearly all Costco ingredients, nothing special. Chips with burger were Kettle brand. Bun was not toasted, room temperature. Pizza tastes like it was made of prego, mozzarella and crust from the grocery store. Ranch gives fast food taste vibes. Under average bar food - no hate to the company, as I said, drinks are great!

Great beer in a convenient little spot in Wilsonville. Kind of the neighborhood brewery, fun to be able to drink on their patio! Snacks/food is available but nothing wow-worthy. I'd come back for a couple beers and some pretzels.

Omg what a Gem this place is wow! I can't say enough about this place some of the best beer I have ever had is at this place. I'm live in Portland so it's long drive but man is it worth it. I originally found out about This place at the Portland brew fest they had the best beer there. If you go try the Barry White if it's in season but u really can't miss whatver you get. The owners and staff are super nice some of the kindest people I have encountered seriously. If you're ever in Wilsonville this is a must stop and even if you're not it's worth the drive you have to try this place you won't be disappointed. And they Recently added food I haven't tried it but I'm sure it's good I seen the pizza and it looks delicious the owners really put a lot of love and care into everything they do you can tell.

    Beer on the patio!

Great beer...Snacks are okay. I prefer the pretzels with beer. Too bad you can't order the pretzels (or any foods) online as take out!

Great spot. We loved having flights to sample all the different beers. And the patio was cool and shady on a hot day.

I order the same burger every visit, and this time it was cooked perfectly--hot, juicy, and delicious. We have always been fans of the McMenamins family of restaurants, hotels, and bars. After living in…read morethe Pacific Northwest for many years, we had the chance to visit quite a few of their locations and have always admired their unique approach to hospitality. One of the things we appreciate most is how McMenamins thoughtfully rehabilitates historic properties, preserving their character while giving them new life as welcoming places to gather. Each location seems to have its own personality and story, which makes visiting them feel special. Today, we had the opportunity to stop by this location, which we had not visited before. We were only planning to grab a quick lunch/dinner and get back on the road, so we didn't explore the property or dive into its history on this visit, but it's clearly a place worth spending more time at in the future. For our meal, my wife ordered a salad, I ordered a pizza, and we shared a side of Cajun tots with their housemade Ranch. Everything was enjoyable and hit the spot for a casual, satisfying stop. We'd happily return when we have more time to take in the full experience. A few things we've noticed over the years from our experiences with McMenamins: Many of their establishments introduce you to pieces of history you never really knew existed. There's often a surprising depth to the stories behind the properties, and even a quick visit can leave you wanting to learn more. Their beer can be very tasty and original, with a variety of offerings that feel thoughtfully crafted and true to their brand. As for the food, it generally lands in the realm of upscale bar fare, or perhaps bar food that wants to be upscale. Most menus are fairly similar from location to location. Don't get me wrong, the food is good and enjoyable; it just sometimes feels like it's presenting itself as something a bit more elevated than it actually is. The pricing tends to follow that same pattern, occasionally feeling a bit ambitious for what's being served. Service can be great, but it can also be hit or miss, and it's wise to be prepared to wait a little longer than expected at times. That said, the atmosphere and grounds at many of their locations are truly outstanding. You can wander the properties for quite a while at many of their locations and still not see everything. The level of detail throughout, both inside and out, is often absolutely amazing and is what really sets McMenamins apart.

The tables were clean and well kept, and the use of "half umbrellas" against the side of a building was a thoughtful touch. We were seated right away, and our drink orders taken right away. Our server did an excellent job, although he apologized for not coming back in time to bring me another Black Butte Porter (which I didn't plan to refill, anyway; even though it was excellent on tap). We placed an order for the "Bavarian Pretzel" appetizer, which was advertised to have a "mustard sauce" with it, and we also paid extra for their "Queso Cheese Dip". The bread itself was quite delicious, but the mustard sauce was just honey mustard salad dressing (disappointing), and the cheese appeared to be melted processed pepper jack cheese. The cheese dip was good with the bread, but we had a lot of dip leftover after the 3 pieces of bread. For a main course, I went with the Spicy Jalapeno Burger, but opted for Crispy Chicken, instead of a hamburger patty. The burger was massive, and consisted of multiple crispy chicken tenders, instead of one large chicken patty -- which is all good, but did make it tricky to eat, as the multiple pieces wanted to slide around. It was very good, but I think I would try the actual burger next time. I chose French fries for my side, and was disappointed that they were "battered" fries, which are not my favorite. The portion was also a little on the skimpy side. I would definitely come back again, even if there are a few small things that keep me from giving top marks.
