I hadn't been to this place in a while, but wow -- am I glad I came back! From the moment I walked…read morein, I could tell something had changed for the better. The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and really knowledgeable about the menu, which made choosing what to order so much easier (and more fun). I decided to try the veggie burger, which they told me was a new recipe -- and let me tell you, it was absolutely amazing. Hands down one of the best veggie burgers I've ever had: perfectly seasoned, hearty, and so flavorful. I also tried one of their smoothies, which had the perfect texture and consistency -- creamy, refreshing, and just right -- as well as one of their homemade chocolates, which was absolutely divine. One thing I really appreciate is that everything here is plant-based and gluten-free, so it's not just delicious but also something I feel great about eating. It's such a gift to have a place where healthy food actually tastes fantastic. What really stood out, though, was the great conversation I had with the new general manager. He took the time to come over and chat, tell me about some of the exciting changes coming with their rebranding, and you can tell he really cares about making this place something special. This experience completely won back my loyalty -- I can't wait to keep coming back to see how the changes unfold and to try all the new menu items they're rolling out. If you haven't been in a while, do yourself a favor and check it out. You won't be disappointed!

Been here multiple Saturday mornings and had the exact same thing! First visit was Yelp Earth Day…read moreand I had the cacao crunch açaí bowl which comes with blended acai, granola, superfood seed mix, strawberries, blueberries, agave, chocolate sauce, cacao nibs plus I added almond butter. It was so good, the acai was so cold and the almond butter is a great addition to all the goodness. Now the first time was free, and free tends to taste better lol. But other visits were good too and the bowl is $13.50. I love this spot. It has traffic but still pretty quiet and I prefer to eat outside. Parking is easy when I don't walk. Service is good, they always bring my bowl outside and take it away when I'm done. I see ppl ordering other things that look delicious but I can't escape this bowl!

We spent a couple of hours here so we had a few people assist us, but Brandon was our initial server. I inquired what his favorite dishes are and one of the items he mentioned was the avocado ginger roll. We decided to share this and each order a smoothie. However, we did make a few changes to the roll. First we axed the cucumber and mango. Next, we requested sliced strawberries. This roll was heavenly! The ingredients were ridiculously fresh and the pairing of the textures and tastes are simply dynamite. A true WOW factor! I would return for this item alone! I ordered the banana almond smoothie and the birthday gal ordered the protein star. Both of us thoroughly enjoyed our smoothies. Our servers did a fantastic job taking care of our needs and our water glasses were never empty. The restaurant is extremely clean and the layout is fantastic. In fact, there is a whole other side behind the restrooms. There are two single use restrooms. Parking is first some first serve in a parking lot and credit cards are accepted. In summary, Christopher's Kitchen is great and I'll absolutely be back!

We've been to Sassafras many times, and it never disappoints. One of our favorite traditions is…read moretheir 2-for-1 lobster night, which we've enjoyed with visiting friends as well as for more special occasions with the in-laws. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance--fun and laid-back, but with a touch of elevated Southern charm. The staff is always warm, friendly, and accommodating, and they consistently make us feel welcome. Their specialty cocktails are excellent--creative, well-balanced, and worth a visit all on their own. We're planning to return this Sunday for their jazz brunch, and I'll update this review afterward. Looking forward to seeing how Sassafras delivers in the daylight with live music!

You can tell the kitchen cares about ingredients and quality--from the first bite to the last. We ordered the burger, a fresh seasonal salad, and a few selections from their oyster menu, which is now one of my favorites in the area. Everything was perfectly cooked, well-balanced, and beautifully plated. The vibe is relaxed but elevated, and the staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive without being overbearing. We also discovered they have a happy hour menu with a great variety of options--definitely coming back to explore more of that. Sassafras strikes the perfect balance between Southern charm and modern dining. Whether you're here for cocktails and oysters or a full dinner, you're in for something special. Highly recommend!

As if Bad Bunny and reggaeton weren't already my happy place, when the steaming canoa de plátano maduro was placed in front of me, I went from happy place straight to food heaven. The plantain was soft and sweet and filled with "meat" that was juicy and spiced so well, and topped with pico de gallo and creamy sauce. The canoa alone was bursting with so many different flavors that worked so well together, but even the quinoa and beans were a nice juxtaposition to the other flavors. Even the salad with pickled onions was a bright highlight of the dish. I honestly wouldn't change anything. If this is what vegan food was like all of the time, I would reconsider my food choices. But then we get to the arepa de choclo which was soft with a light crust, so full of corn flavor, and filled with the gooiest most delightful cheese that was the savory balance that the sweet corn needed. The iced coffee was the perfect ending to this meal, and in addition to being strong (like I like it), it had a light cinnamon flavor. Visit this amazing Lake Worth restaurant ASAP! This place deserves our patronage not only because it's a local spot, but because it's a true flavor gem of the city!
