Basically everything without fish. Served in a large tray (the ones seen at banquet buffets), and everything cooked in broth. This was enough to probably feed 4-5 adults (assuming average appetites). So pretty. Deep fried squid with fries - honestly this dish was meh. Basically exactly what it sounds like. Squid is tempura style. Nothing special. I'd skip this one. Bossam (pork belly wraps) - served with tofu and spicy kimchi and some vegetable (kelp?) as well. They don't really give enough wraps compared to the pork slices. Decent portion size. My friends and I gobbled this up. This place also serves makgeolli (Korean rice wine) for a very reasonable price. Goes well with the food. Overall my friends and I left happy. Wouldn't mind coming back at some point to try some other dishes. Recommended.

Dookbaeki might just be my default local spot for soups. With a large seating space, we were seated immediately (came just after 8 on a Thursday evening with a party of 6) though they can get busy! The servers were extremely attentive in asking about refills, whether that's the rice, meats or even side dishes. A great bang for your buck for all you can eat these days. Adding a price make it seems like I can choose to add it or not. So now the budaejjigae is $41 instead of $36 with sides I didn't really need. Quite pricey for a very simple ingredient dish. Soup base was very flavorful but not a lot of ingredients was in it for that price point. One thing I didn't like was the buying of positive reviews.
