I've had ladies game days and anniversary celebrations basically catered by the bountiful variety provided on a Graze party tray. I am a huge fan of being able to pick and choose a little bit of a variety of bites. Whether it's salty or sweet, crispy or soft, the different options make for a fun meal or snack. And, within reason, you can customise these trays with communication with the business. For example, my husband and I do not consume anything that contains alcohol including wine flavoured cheeses and such, and I communicated that to graze, they took care of it without a problem. One of the additional benefits of going with trays or catering from graze is being able to try locally sourced products and ingredients. Some of the breads, jams and honeys I've gotten on my trays have become favorites. I've been home, sick this week, and craving Grazing board. I wish they were closer to Harrisburg!!

They have a unique seasonal cocktail menu, and numerous different types of alcohol/bottles. (I would recommend getting a prosecco glass with cranberry juice in it!) The smoked salmon added saltiness and actually made it nice but I think you'd have to look forward the squash. And, it was only mildly warm. Husband ordered the paella. I tasted it, of course. The fish was overcooked, the scallop I had was sweet and cooked well. The rice was decent, but, instead of the rich saffron scented taste I expected, this tasted of chicken broth a la rice a roni. And whereas it was good, it was nothing special. He said the shrimp and mussels were good. I ordered Tuscan shrimp which was billed as shrimp and ravioli in sun dried tomato cream sauce with spinach. There were 4 good size ravioli covered in a cream sauce- not Alfredo- and there were bits of sun dried tomato sprinkled on it. Tasty but not sun dried tomato cream sauce. There are 5 or 6 good size shrimp that were delicious and cooked just right. This was a delicious dish and would have been 5 stars if it were hot. It was warm, not wArm enough though. Same for the paella. And everyone at our end of the table said the same thing. Neighbors had Mac and cheese with meatballs which they said was ok, chicken cacciatore which they said was covered in red pepper sauce which they said was good but that the chicken was dry. Didn't talk to anyone else about their meals but the chief complaint was that nothing was hot. And the service was uneven- we were served a long time before the people next to us were served their meals. This place is a venue for weddings and parties. However, this place was great for me. I asked what was smoked that day and was told brisket is fresh every day and pulled chicken and ribs had just come off, so that's what I ordered. Let's break this down! The brisket was juicy with a nice dry dark bark crust. The meat was incredibly tender, breaking apart on my fork. A little fatty that didn't render but that's part of brisket. The rub really set off the flavor of the meat and I did not add any sauce to it, it simply wasn't needed. The chicken was my favorite meat. Served with no sauce, it was evident it was sitting in its own juices and that kept it moist. With chicken being so easy to dry out, this was great. The meat had great flavor and was oh so tender and juicy. I did try out some of their sauces with this and decided the smoky bbq spoke to me. My only negative of this joint came from the ribs. As I take my first bite, I have to pull something tough and get slapped in the chin by it. Say it isn't so! You leave the membrane on? Why oh why would you do that, nobody wants to eat membrane! Such a disappointment as the ribs were cooked well and the meat was tasty, although definitely the driest of the three I tried. For sides I had the street corn and the potato salad. I loved the salad, tons of flavor. The street corn was a miss for me as I did like the corn itself but when I'd grab a feta crumble in with it I did not enjoy the combination. The waitress brought me some greens to try as she could tell I didn't dig the corn and I ended up loving them. When you can pack that much flavor into greens it's a winner in my book. Speaking of the waitress, she's the reason this is five star for me. I was going with four star because of the membrane on the ribs however she is great and deserves a shout out.
