Nonna has outdone herself with her gluten free pizza crust! They taste as close to regular crusts as I can remember. We savored the Margharita, Buffalo, and Lotso Meatso 12" GFs and had plenty of leftovers. The price was not bad at $17.95. We were glad to get to know Annette, who is a personable, attentive, and efficient server. It up was our first time visiting this restaurant. It's a lovely, simple spot, and the waiter was very friendly and efficient. For starters, we ordered the arancini, followed by chicken parmesan and ravioli for our main course, and cannoli for dessert. The arancini was really delicious. However, the chicken parmesan was a bit overcooked and tough, and the sauce felt a little too acidic for our taste. The ravioli was somewhat bland, and the cannoli was fine. read more

Came to Nonna's for dinner with my wife and 3 kids. Ordered a cheese pizza, supreme pizza, and my son had spaghetti and meatballs. Pizzas were just ok, not a lot of flavor even on the supreme. Supreme was pretty light on toppings. Spaghetti sauce was tasty and sweet, meatballs were not great - tasted like the canned spaghetti-o's ones. I didn't like they automatically apply a 25% tip (16.70 on a 67.10 bill) - that's supposed to be the customer's decision based on service level. Service was good, though. Last night friends and I went to Nonna's. They had been there before but it was my first time. Such a happy cheerful place, filled with locals who obviously know the quality! We had the upside down pizza and a Margherita pizza followed by the spumoni ice cream cake and chocolate mousse cake. Everything was to die for, seriously! The pizza crust, and it was not the GF, was so light and delicious! The tomato sauce on the upside down pizza tasted so fresh, and the desserts were also light and simply out of this world! And we received a recommendation from another diner that we should try the tiramisu next time. The staff was friendly and warm. You can tell that this place is all about family. Nona's Pizza is a local Italian restaurant located less than 10 minutes from my home and I used to absolutely love everything about this restaurant, but after the pandemic the prices went up and the portion sizes decreased. Also the recipes on certain dishes like the chicken franchise has changes, this dish used to be my favorite dish from this restaurant but has now lost some flavor and uniqueness about it. The staff has changed and even though the owner has not changed and is still the same stand up guy as before, the restaurant doesn't have that "At Home" feeling to it anymore. We went with a party of 6. Place was busy but filthy. The floors weren't swept and were slippery with grease. The people weren't following g good cleanliness protocols. Definitely didn't wash their hands. We should have left. The food was subpar for an Italian restaurant. We weren't looking for anything special just a small place after a long day. The pizza sauce was likely from a can. The calamari while hot was beyond eatable and made a few of us sick. The chicken in the chicken Alfredo looked like deli chicken cut into little squares and tasted like it. It was not a good experience and we will never go back. It wasn't that they were too busy it is just that the quality of food was not good. It tasted like the spaghetti and meatballs that you give your kids when they don't know any better. I feel like this place should be called Nonna's Kitchen or Nonna's house, because they're serving authentic Italian foods that you can tell are made with love. I've only been twice, but both times I was really satisfied. I have only had the chicken Parmesean on both visits (over a year apart), but it's been so good both times, which shows consistency and I love consistency! I ordered an amaretto sour, which was strong and garlic knots as an appetizer, they were soft and hot and fresh. My little big man ordered a pizza off the kids menu, which in my opinion is a good size for like $7. He absolutely loved the pizza, again it was a nice size and was piping hot, with a decent about of toppings. He loved it! All our food arrived hot and I loved that! I ordered their bread pudding for dessert, and I was not ready for how massive it was. My son and I tried our best to finish it, because it was so good! It was absolutely scrumptious! A must try if you stop by for sure! Seating is limited, but they do have outdoor seating. The decor is very homey. I love that the owner came around and checked on us, he even gave my son a glow ring, I can tell this is a family ran business, because they make you feel like family. Decent Italian restaurant in concord. The place is really small and it was pretty busy on a Tuesday night. Service was great. Everyone was very kind and friendly! I ordered a personal cheese pizza and the special st Joseph day pastries to go. The pizza was really good. It was pretty big too. I liked how it was really cheesy and the crust was thin but not too crunchy. The pastries were huge! They had a lot of cream filling too. Where to start? Literally the only thing I can complain about here is the mixed drink inconsistency. I love an old fashioned. I have ordered many here and the first one is usually pretty awesome, and if you order a second it is terrible. The last time I ordered one it was just plain bad and the waitress didn't even try to have it remade, just took it and didn't ask if I even wanted it remade or if I wanted something else. But seriously THAT IS MY ONLY COMPLAINT! This place is a gem! The food is so good, their garlic knots are divine, I don't even like marinara and I love theirs. I have eaten nothing here that didn't taste amazing! I love caprese and I do wish their mozz was a bit more fresh, but it is still decent quality! This is one of our favorite places to come!! I was in the Publix next door grocery shopping and I was STARVING! I saw Nonna's pizza was next-door so I looked it up on here and it had pretty good reviews. I also got on their website and saw where everything was made from scratch and wanted to give it a try. I ordered a chicken Parmesan hoagie and it came with fries. The fries were extremely mushy and all mixed in the hoagie so I honestly didn't try one of them. Based off their appearance, they didn't look good. The sandwich was just all right. I thought the bread tasted better than the chicken for some reason. I am willing to give them another try. I just wasn't impressed with what I ordered. For right at $14 for lunch it definitely wasn't worth it to me. read more

I came in today for lunch and it was my first time there. The waitress was extremely pleasant and very helpful with helping me with the menu. I wanted something tasty but not very heavy and she suggested the Caprese salad! Oh my goodness! It was so wonderful and filling but not heavy! The mozzarella was soft and yummy and the tomatoes were very fresh! I think it had pesto and of course, the balsamic glaze with fresh basil and a few little sweet peppers! I ate the Chicken Parm. The breaded chicken was thin and dry in some places. I substituted the Marinari with meat sauce. The menu price for meat sauce was $1.95, and I was charged $2.25. Drinks are $3.25 and charge you $0.75 for a ToGo cup. What a rip-off. This restaurant wants to nickel and dime you to death. Do not use the suggested Tip calculations. They calculate the tip on taxes and credit card service fees, even if you pay cash. A tip of 15% to 20% on the total bill before tax and credit card fees is common etiquette for good service. I haven't visited the restaurant in many years, and now I remember why. I felt like trying something different and quickly found out that Rosario's is much better for a much better price. read more

Nonna's is a family owned and run Italian restaurant that features freshly made homemade food. Everything Ive ever had has been great. Food is amazing. There's only two drawbacks. The restaurant itself is TINY. They can squeeze a bunch of people in, but that doesn't make my dining experience five star. And the other thing is they will nickel and dime you to death. Extra sauce? There's a charge. Want a to go cup? Charge! Having said that...they're not hidden fees. It clearly states it on the menu. So at least they are transparent about it. But it just makes me mad that if you're spending good money (for good food) and your tea is $2.75!!! You can't enjoy some of the $2.75 tea on your ride home without spending 95 cents for a to go cup. We came in to Nonna's tonight for some quick apps. We come here often for the delicious italian food like the penne vodka and bolognese, but we wanted a bunch of different things tonight. I saw on their Facebook that they had Nonna's stuffed artichokes and NEEDED one! Boy... it didn't disappoint. It was just like my grandmother used to make!
