This combo reminds me of my dad because he used to eat this. Hubs got the Grandma Veggie Balsamic slice. This has spinach, mushrooms, breaded eggplant and zucchini, and roasted peppers on a layer of melted mozzarella, finished with a drizzle of sweet balsamic glaze. This was hubs' favorite of the two. He said that the combination reminded him of LA but with a better crust. He'd probably order this again. I thought this was ok and pretty healthy. Service was friendly and quick. This week we ordered a large Italian salad and two 6 piece orders Of chicken wings plain and Cajun with ranch and blue cheese dressing. The order came with rolls. We switched to Nonno's for one simple reason. The pizza reheats SO well. I have never had pizza reheat the next day and not be chewy/hard. Nonno's is delightful piping hot when you first get it or when you warm up the leftovers in a pan after that. There's plenty of good pizza in town, I've left other reviews for them. And those pizzas are good when you get them. But none of them reheat the way Nonno's does which makes me feel like I'm not wasting food if we don't finish the whole pie. read more

We moved to KY from NJ and miss pizza the most. My parents recently came to visit and brought us pizza from Nonno's. They picked it up the night before they left and drove here (about an 11 hour drive). We reheated it in the oven and ate it when they got here. It was still delicious 24 hours and a reheat later! My sons continued to eat it cold for the next 4 days. If it's that good after all that it must be excellent fresh! read more

Nonnos is a nice cozy byob restaurant located on Rt 9 in a strip mall between Sears and the post office. There are quite a few pizza restaurants in the area. I feel it's time to check them out. Late Sunday afternoon my daughter and I decided to check out Nonnos. We were told to sit where we wanted and waited for our waitress to arrive. She was very nice and gave us plenty of time to decide. In the meantime she brought warm bread. We decided to split a cold antipasto with balsamic on the side. It consisted of iceberg lettuce with 2 cherry tomatoes, artichoke hearts, cukes, 2 kalamata olives, onions, red pepper, and rolled provolone and prosciutto or maybe ham. It was ok. I'm not a fan of iceberg and would have liked more olives. I ordered a personal meatball pizza which was way bigger than I expected; could only finish half. My daughter's vodka penne pizza was great according to her. Worth another try. Maybe next time I'll try an entrée, they have a large menu. read more

We had ordered the same M pizza a couple of weeks back asking for well done and instead got this soupy pizza with multiple cheeses that just plain didn't taste good, an oddity for pizza. We happened to try Nonnas because of where we happened to be at the time. In a strip mall we come to sometimes. We found the pizza and pasta dishes were very good. The last 2 times though have been very disappointing, we asked for the Margherita Pizza to be well done and in the past few times it was exceptionally good, the last 2 times we had it and it was a mess,not well done,2 different cheeses apparently and minimal basil.
