To start off this place is extremely clean, organized, and I felt that we had great service. The food was amazing but incredibly spicy. I had the Yellow Curry Noodle and it was delicious. The only options are mild, medium, or hot. I chose medium as I would usually get a three at most thai restaurants. Even though my food was good, and everything tasted fresh I think I would have enjoyed my meal more if I had tried the "mild" option instead. Used to rate this four stars, however, I went here in September 2015 and there are new owners and a new menu. They made me a curry and it was a clear broth soup. I wish I had a picture. They were mad at me for returning it and instead argued with me. I don't know why the waitress was so defensive, because I wasn't rude or anything. This is probably the third time in my life returning an entree, ever! No only this, but she didn't ask me if I wanted to order something else instead she literally just grabbed the dish and walked off. After I returned the "curry," that was a broth soup, the refills on drinks stopped. Also, she clearly told the other staff as they all were staring as I left. I felt super awkward. Just ate there. I couldn't eat my red curry because the chicken was spoiled. What curry I was able to eat was mild when I asked for a hot+. The curry was watery. My husband had the pad se eew with tofu. And it's not a sweet dish yet the noodles were sweet and slimy. Every ingredient in his dish tasted the same. We couldn't finish food since it was made with spoiled chicken and the noodles slimy. We've eaten at many Thai restaurants and this is by far the worst one ever. I've never been this concerned about food poisoning then I am now. The waitress was unwelcoming and didn't even remember that my husband ordered the soda and I wanted water. When brought to the table she just put them in front of us and didn't even look at where she put the beverages. The place was empty and yet not attentive at all. My husband has to wave her down and speak loudly and firmly to get her attention. There is another example of how poorly this place is compared to other Thai restaurants we've eaten at. Food spoiled (rotten) Service nonexistent. NOT A PLACE ID RECOMMEND. I'd be more inclined to call the health department. We should have known to leave when the kitchen staff had masked on. read more

This is like one of my go-to restaurants! I come here for lunch during school all the time, at least once or twice a month. I don't know much about Thai food, but I know I really like theirs. Most people first reaction is to buy the pad Thai, but I'd skip it (it's not that great to be honest) but they have some really great items on their menu. The pad see ew is my favorite and the drunken noodle is good too if you like spicy food. Oh man and the thai iced tea is a must. They have some really wonderful appetizers too, almost all of them are amazing. (some of the best calamari I've had!) and the staff is lovely, they're very sweet people. Totally recommend this place for a stop by for lunch. read more

Last night my partner and I visited Noodle N Thai, based largely on the reviews on Yelp. I was so disappointed. The Pad Thai was excessively sweet (and skimpy serving) and the Thai noodle soup serving was excessively skimpy and tasteless (at least to me). I am sure they must have some good menu items but these were not them...The bathroom had no paper for hand drying. I think the most difficult thing was the loud rap music (albeit Thai, I think)-it was fast and loud and not a good choice for eating. Service was good of course. I have never left a poor review and hate to do that now, but I think people need to be forewarned.... read more

We enjoyed our take-out to the RV park. We ate shrimp tempura appetizer; the chili sauce is quite good with a hint of vinegar. The special was scallops and garlic, quite flavorful. A tad pricier than I was expecting (~$12/entree) for the location, but well worth it; you can take home the rest of your DRUNKEN NOODLES for a snack (if you can resist eating them all while at the restaurant!). Wow!! It was hard to find parking in downtown Springfield for some reason, but worth the effort. This alt-diner had an attractive Thai decor, and the fragrance blew up my tastebuds!! We were promptly seated. The Thai iced tea was good but not special...but the food was fabulous! Asked for a recommendation from the server because the menu was vast and she recommended the salmon curry. She described the panang sauce and recommended we also buy something else if we were really hungry (we weren't) because the portion wasn't huge for two. The panang curry salmon was served with a sauce that hit with delicious mildness, but the heat just kept coming after. The rice was served heart-shaped, and the salmon fed us two pretty well. This space is a 50's style diner they unfortunately did not remodel before opening as a Thai restaurant. They have added some Thai decor, but in front of a stainless steel backdrop and a full length bar. We stopped in on a Sunday afternoon at 4:30 and were the only patrons. I bet it gets busier for a weekday lunch crowd? The food was average Thai food. Good, but not worth a venture off the freeway. My review is based on takeout only. I feel everything is a bit overpriced for what you get. The fresh rolls were the smallest I have ever seen. And I was charged an additional $3 for "extra" peanut sauce, which would have been a normal sized container at other restaurants. The $15 pad Thai hardly had any chicken or vegetables in it. Awesome super amazing service! My cup was never empty, and they were very helpful. Food came out pretty quickly and at a reasonable portion...the bit of leftovers i had they packed in a box for me. My plate needed more veggies and was lacking a bit of flavor, but tried the rest of my parties dinner choices and they were nearly perfect. The booth seats also needed the proper padding, lol there's a good foot missing out of a few of the seats so if you have a party of 6, like we did, you have two people sitting a little uncomfortable. They have reasonable alcohol prices and a good amount of choices. For $8 I got three or four broccoli florets sautéed in soy sauce. Far below expectations. Poor execution. Staff fine. No water provided. No tip earned. The employees are extremely nice and helpful, they know their menu backwards and forwards and always willing to help you with whatever needs you have. Really a wide variety of offerings. Made deciding pretty tough. Menu showed pictures of the entrees. Plates looked very similar as they should. Not perfect. The orange chicken had too thick and sweet of a coating for most of us that tried it. No condiments on the tables. Wasn't really a good spot for a large group. Booths need some love. We had a large group so the food came out in waves that made for the first people served to wait a bit for the rest. The various noodle offerings were excellent. Portions were more than adequate. Me and my friend ordered from noodle n thai and were so excited. Order we the garden rolls, fried spring rolls, mixed vegetables in peanut sauce and the crab rice. When our food was delivered it was hot but you could smell the crab. It did not smell right. Told my friend not to eat it but did. Was throwing up crab all after noon and had diarrhea. They need to check there crab. The mixed veggies were disappointing. It was more of a soup with rice then vegetables in a sauce. The coconut in the sauce was all I could taste and not at all whT I was expecting ...could finish just too sweet. Both of the rolls were good but small portions for the price. I love Thai food and I've sampled most of the Thai restaurants in the area multiple times. My boyfriend has heard good reviews from friends about this place and wanted to take me there for dinner. We went at about 7 on a Thursday night and it was really slow, only one other table. The drink options are limited to beer in bottles, wine, tea, or soft drinks- no fancy cocktails here. We had the pot stickers as an appetizer which were amazing and came out really fast. He ordered the pad kee mao (drunken noodles) and I had the yellow curry. The portion sizes were decent but not huge, just enough to almost finish. I was a little worried about the spice level after reading other reviews but medium spice was perfect. Service was excellent but we were almost alone in the restaurant. It's still not my favorite Thai place in the area (Ta Ra Rin and Tasty Thai are tied for first in my opinion) but its definitely in the top three now. read more

Indeed, the real deal. I'm a Thai food connoisseur, and I think they may have the best in the Eugene-Springfield area. Pay attention to the flavor intricacies involved in achieving their superbly executed sauces. I never would have thought I could find world class flavors on Main St. in Springfield. But it's true! For the area, it's a battle between Noodle N Thai, and Chao Pry Ya in Eugene. I was excited to try this place after seeing some good reviews on yelp. I was slightly disappointed we ordered the Combination appetizer plate and it was a lot smaller than I though. It was good but small considering I was sharing it with two other hungry people. I ordered the Tom Kha Soup, I thought the broth was yummy but there wasn't really any veggies and the chicken was just tiny pieces. I ordered sticky rice and it was over cocked and mushy. My aunt got the wonton soup and didn't really like it, she said the broth tasted like it was made of bullion seasoning. My cousin got the Seafood soup and she thought it was alright except the seafood in the soup didn't have much flavor. Maybe I'll go back and try to give it another chance. read more

Best Thai food for at least 50 miles in any direction from Eugene/Springfield. Now, I know you're thinking, "Why that doesn't really mean it's good at all!" But let me reassure you it is some tasty stuff and they know what they're doing. So far, I've been 3 times, and I have yet to be disappointed. I've had the Red Curry with Noodles (twice) and the Green Curry with Noodles. I've ordered each of them "Medium" each time. I like spice, and I found them hot. Wonderfully hot. The Red Curry is naturally slightly less spicy than the Green, and the waitress is happy to explain this to you. The first time I got the Red Curry it was deliciously spicy without being too hot. The second time I went and the Green Curry at medium was borderline too hot for me -- but delicious nonetheless. On my third visit, I got the Red again, again at medium, and this time it was a little hotter than I recalled the first time -- very nicely spicy, not quite borderline too hot for me, but closer. So wonderful. All three times I had a beer to help with the spices I've also had little tastes of other people's Pad See Ew and fried rice, and they are well made (though not my top picks for food.) I've also really enjoyed their spring rolls and fried egg rolls. Nice sized, presented in a pretty manner, and very tasty. I get some of each when I go. The Thai Iced tea is standard in that delicious I don't want it to be different sort of way. I always have enough leftover for lunch the next day... but someday I hope to have room for dessert. And the service is very friendly and helpful. ---- edit: I mistakenly claimed that they make their own noodles. They don't. There was no one in the restaurant but they several take out orders placed while we were waiting for our order. We ordered the yellow curry, drunken noodles and salad rolls. Everything was delicious and fresh with just the right amount of heat. It was filling and just what we wanted.
