"We're actually in a Chinese restaurant," were my Hubby's words after sitting down and grabbing the last available table in a busy place. He meant, and I agree, this is a place that serves food Asian families would normally dine on, and not your Americanized style that we are all used to. I got Happy Family Udon, and now udon noodles will be a new obsession for me. Hubs went spicy with their Beef with Rice Noodle soup, and finished every bit of a nice sized bowl. They have dim sum! My daughter is a boa freak, and theirs were fresh, soft and filled with nice chunks of pork. It's good to see this place full of locals. It's different than most other Chinese places around here.

I've been here multiple times now and I can say it's one of the best Chinese restaurants I've ever been to. There hasn't been a single thing that I've tried that I haven't liked! The Wonton with Garlic sauce is a 10/10 must have. Dan Dan Noodles, xiao long bao soup dumplings, and the sweet and sour chicken are also extremely good I get them almost every time. Other things I've tried include steamed bbq buns, kung pao chicken, bbq pork fried rice, egg drop soup, beef rice noodles, general tso's chicken, broccoli beef, and Mongolian beef. The only thing I wasn't a huge fan of was the steamed shrimp dumplings, they can just use a little more flavor. Service sometimes takes a while but it's only because they are so busy and seem to have a small kitchen, the food is well worth any wait time in my opinion.

Very good food, we had the Mongolian beef and spicy won ton soup. The waitress said that the beef would take longer. Soup was out fast, beef took 25 plus minutes. Prices were reasonable and portions large. Will go back.

I visited a friend in Richland and we were both craving authentic Chinese food. Noodle Thyme hit the spot! The woman working at the restaurant that day was so friendly and had great recommendations. Each table has a tablet so you can go through the menu at your leisure and place your order through their system when you are ready. The restaurant is casual and had plenty of indoor seating. All the food was delicious, but I especially recommend the string beans and spicy beef tendon (which is a cold dish).

I had been wanting to try this place for a few months, and finally got to try it a few days before my birthday. And oh my goodness!! I found my new favorite restaurant! I ordered far too much because everything looked good, and it was true - every single item was so good. And everyone was so wonderful, me and my family felt very welcome and comfortable. Absolutely can't wait to go back.

Amazing dim sum! This place is a hidden gem, a must stop! The soup dumplings and the custard ones were our favorite ones

If you want genuine authentic Chinese food, this is the place to go! There is a bit of a wait but that's because they make it fresh.

Without a doubt the best Teriyaki chicken I've ever eaten, made in the original Chinese tradition…read more How odd to find this in Connell WA, a small agricultural town (pop. 5,400) that's easily 25 miles from anywhere else, in Eastern Washington. It was Saturday and the lunch buffet was $10.95. The buffet had only six items, which made me snicker. But I'm eating Keto style, so only took 3 items... teriyaki chicken, mixed vegetables, and deep fried chicken meatballs. Oh my God, was I surprised with the flavor of this pairing. We've all had Chicken Teriyaki, right? (...char-grilled chicken strips on steamed rice with sauce-outa-the-squirt-bottle. Right?). Well forget that! This was chicken sauteed in a mild-sweet-soy (full of meat drippings, like gravy! It was fabulous! Man, I'm going home to re-engineer that recipe! I love it when you discover some new food-approach that no-one's doing anywhere. This was that moment. And with the medley of steamed vegetables and iced tea...wow, just wow! To the guy from "Nordakota" er "Sowdakota", what are you thinkin?!?! The food at Mei-Ling is delicious, and apparently everyone in town thinks so too! Look at the pictures!

Those were hand-made on the spot, Cochise. Yang Tze Pork had great char sui flavor, and sides were robust and delicious. We ordered from their 'family style' menu, and for $17 per, it was a heckuva lot of food. Wifey kept trying to order some other items, and I had to tell her we were already gonna get pounded with the amount of food we had comin'. The leftovers in my fridge will testify to that little factoid. This small town in the middle of nowhere is quite fortunate to have this family to order from...
