    Fried Rice 炒饭

Noodle Time is a relatively new, clean & comfortable, family-run restaurant which serves a wide variety of Asian fusion cuisine. Ordering is by using the kiosk at the front of the restaurant. There is booth and table seating but it seems many orders are take-out or by a delivery service. Service was friendly and efficient. Our Braised Short Ribs Noodle soup and Shrimp Fried Rice was very enjoyable. Street parking can be difficult but there is a good-sized parking area in the rear of Noodle Time.

    Weird tasting Pad Thai.

I think I just ordered the wrong item. This Pad Thai was way to saucy and not very good. I wish it had tofu in it, like it should and a combination meat option. The touch screens to order from are confusing and I couldn't find add on options for meats. I ended up just getting shrimp. I saw people with Pho and other items and they looked solid and they all seemed to be enjoying the dishes. I just was not in the mood for Pho on an 80 degree day. I'll try it again sometime with a different dish, but this visit and dish I ordered was a miss.

I write reviews from a plant based consumer perspective, and for that reason a lot of vegans and vegetarians follow me I'm consistent that way. True to this I can tell you what is happening here for you tofu slang'n herbivores: The wheat noodles are homemade, which is impressive, but they do have trace amount of egg that is used to hold things together. Some people might be willing to look the other way on that one as it is negligible and it's certainly not even visible. Just sad though because otherwise this place would be a regular stop for vegan types i think. They do have a vegan appetizer which is a spicy tofu that is easily a meal in end of itself so check that out if you like. Vegetarians should be just fine My only complaint: i wish they had a specialized vegan menu with faux meat proteins (vegetarian mock meat) like so many Thai, Chinese and Vietnamese restaurants have these days. The ambience is nice and the seating is quite comfortable out in the booths over by the window One of the staff there came out and checked on me and sincerely asked how everything was which I really appreciated. I told her it was all fine but in reality, I took it home and had to do my own little touchup to bring it up to hedonistic flavor requirements. They are kind of futuristic up here with these oversize iPad ordering devices set up. They encourage people to order ahead on their website, although I haven't tried that. Sure it works well.

    Cool interior

This place is a there solid Chinese restaurant. The food was great the potstickers were delicious and the Basel eggplant with beef and Spicy chow main were really good. Then there is the holy grail the Oreo Boba . I call that an early taste of heaven. Only problem I had with the food was the chow main was a little sour. Service went in a nice flash ,but not slow enough to not be freshly cooked. Lastly the entire was great it was super clean I love the cups and plates and these funny sign that said .

I came here today for a friend's birthday.I ordered the teriyaki chicken plate with steam rice salad with dill ranch salad dressing veggie egg roll n a diet Coke Everything was yummy.Love the teriyaki sauce n the salad dressing Service was fantastic. You order up n pay for it n then they bring the food out to you.The restaurant is clean n plenty of parking in the back of the restaurant

We had a pleasant dining experience during our stay here. It's very close to our hotel, kind of next door. Food is delicious, quite authentic Asian taste, spacious bright tidy layout with comforting ambience, reasonable price in this tour city. Nothing more valuable than a home style meal in a close distance!

The place is new and I could say very clean. Ordering is through self service kiosk, with the items described well and with photos. The food came out in reasonable time. I ordered the spicy beef noodle soup and it was really good. The soup is not salty at all and I could tell there is no MSG. The noodles are fresh and delicious, and they give a huge amount of food. I ate half and got full. My wife ordered the chicken pho which she said was also good. The optional veggies are all fresh and not wilted. I asked for water and they served it in pitcher with lemon! The servers are really fast and very kind. I will definitely come back and try the other noodle dishes.

Portions here are amazing. As well as crispy fried shrimp tempura ! This place is very authentic in the way they make it! Will be eating here again. Friendly staff.

Since opening noodle time has been the go to pho spot for me in Santa Cruz! Soups are delicious with all the various meats they offer, tried the rice plate for the first time and it was greatly flavored, mango sago drink is definitely a recommendation! The order kiosks are good for ordering and they offer self serve sauces and water, will keep returning

Customer service is really nice. Clean place. Steady work and amazing food. I will be coming again.

First time coming here. Visiting Sta. Cruz for our kiddos' spring break and found this place. We walked in and they have this adorable flower that opens and closes, catches your attention as you walk down the hall to the kiosk. Place is clean and orderly. You order at a kiosk and you sit yourself. They have water in pitchers, self-serve, as well as different condiments available. We ordered pork pot stickers, chicken skewers, special beef combination pho, chicken pad thai, braised beef noodle soup, and basil eggplant tofu for our appetizers and dishes. We also ordered Thai milk tea, fresh taro milk tea, and camelia oolong hot tea. Servings are large and we had a good amount of leftovers. Everybody enjoyed their meal. One of our kids has the special beef combination pho and he said the broth was really good. Our other kid enjoyed her chicken pad Thai, too. Serving was so large that her leftover would be enough for another meal. hubby had the braised beef noodle soup and he said the noodles are really fresh. I tried some of the broth, too, and it was very flavorful. The basil eggplant tofu was also flavorful but was on the oily side. It was served with salad, spring rolls and rice. The camelia oolong hot tea was a good compliment to my dish, which by the way was more than enough to share with my husband. Overall, great price for the size of serving and quality of food. Didn't get a photo of all the food. Here are the ones I was able to catch before they were devoured.

    Matcha Latte

Ordered a Matcha Latte. It was delicious and it cost around the normal price I'd expect to pay for a drink. The service was relatively quick. The restaurant itself is very cozy and inviting and the workers were very helpful and friendly! I would revisit!!

There were 2 people working there and behind the counter. No one greeted us. We looked at the menu and though we could have ordered at the counter, the staff didn't seem friendly like they wanted to be approached so we chose to order at the computerized kiosk! Other Yelpers said prices were average, but I thought the drinks were expensive! They start around $7 but that most do not include toppings, and each topping was $0.75. That adds up! (My go-to boba place in Santa Cruz has boba for $5.50, which includes 2 toppings, so....this seems like highway robbery.) Due to the high prices, out of three of us, we only ordered two drinks and only one of the drinks had an added topping. When they were done making the drinks, one drink had the plastic top sealed on and the other was placed on the counter. The staffer walked away. I was unsure if I should just take the drinks. They were clearly our drinks (I could see they were ours, plus we were the only customers), but it was odd the man put the drink there and walked away without saying anything! No communication, no eye contact. Nothing. After several minutes, he returned to complete the plastic cup cover sealing, and then he placed the cup in front of me. No "thank you", no "here you go", no "enjoy", nothing. It was odd. Other than the prices, the flavor of the boba was okay in flavor and chewiness, but the strawberry matcha drink had effects that, let's just say, caused someone hours of bathroom trips! We don't know if it was the milk or some other ingredient, but something was not right. Needless to say, we will not be returning to Soul Sweet. The store looked so cute in the photos, I think it had potential, but the freshness is important and price is an important factor.

For the few times I've eaten here and gotten boba during meetings, I have to say that I've enjoyed my experiences and considering the slugs lucky to have a spot like Iveta. There are two sections to the restaurant- one which focuses on actual food and the other a cafe that serves boba and beer, two of my favorite things. My take on the boba is that it gets the job done. It's nothing special and the boba pearls are not the best, but if you're craving some, then they are totally fine. Plus, their catering staff is great and are able to accommodate large boba orders if needed. As for the food, I got a chance to try their poke bowl which is incredibly massive. I'm used to ordering poke from other college campuses that come in very small portions, so the fact that they load you up here is great. Only gripes are that they don't add more toppings vs. the rice ratio in the bowl, and you aren't able to order just toppings as a side. My colleague wanted just seaweed salad but they had no way of ringing it up. Overall, Iveta is a solid campus eatery for students and one that I see myself stopping by again, if at least to get my boba cravings out of the way.

I could not get enough. Generous portion, too. It was almost impossible for my friend and I to have a conversation, because with every other bite one of us was expressing our delight in the INTENSE and PERFECT combination of heady flavors in the soup! We also split a Shrimp Pad Thai; the shrimp were LARGE, FAT and cooked perfectly, no chewiness whatsoever. We also had the mussels appetizer; I can usually give or take mussels at most places, but these were also above average, such yummy seasonings.
