As you can see, it just opened very recently.

I ordered the braised beef noodle bowl. They warned me it was spicy, and I replied, like a moron, 'Give me all that spice, I love it hot." Then the cook naturally wants to make you regret that swaggering statement. And he did, too. Wow, the heat just about tore my head off. Still really good, though. Lots of taste along with all the heat. And a tremendous amount of beef in the serving, which itself was a generous portion. No complaints here, no complaints at all. This little place is a worthy addition to the Asian cuisine lineup in Salem.

Had lunch here today. Thoroughly enjoyed my braised beef and noodles and peach oolong tea. Both were very good. Word of caution, this soup was spicy. I'm really glad to have another option for Asian noodle soups beyond pho.

Been here a few times and it's been very consistent. Noodles are really tasty, beef is super tender and the soup is just spicy enough without being too spicy. Service is quick and straight forward. You can order on a tablet or through the cashier if you want to pay with cash or have any questions. They offer samples of each of their drinks but I've tried 3 and they've all been great. I've tried the winter melon tea, the passion fruit jasmine tea and the peach oolong tea- all iced teas. They're sweetened already. The restaurant is decorated nicely and they have plenty of seating.

We walked right in, and ordered at the counter. There are 11 tables. Mostly spicy Chinese noodle soups, beef chicken, etc. place is clean and they also have several Asian style cold teas, like milk tea and plum tea. Generous helpings.

The beef noodle soup with the brisket is spicy and the beef is very tender. The crunchy potatoes are a very good side and tasted amazing.

It was a GREAT price for this quality of food, only about 13 dollars total for the noodle bowl and the tea.

We ordered the shrimp fried rice, hot gemai tea, cucumbers, fresh salad, and the seafood ramen -- every single dish came out flavorful, balanced, and clearly made with care. The portions were generous, and the prices were surprisingly reasonable for the quality. The service was immaculate from start to finish. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming -- the kind of hospitality that makes you want to come back before you've even left. The decor is clean and modern with plenty of seating, creating a relaxed atmosphere perfect for a date, a family meal, or a quick bite. Yes, you do have to pay for parking in downtown Salem, but once you're inside, the food, the vibe, and the service make it more than worth it. If you're anywhere near Salem, I highly recommend stopping by. Akai Ramen is doing everything right -- great food, great people, great experience. Five stars all day.

We loved the food, and decided to try the original. We had some trouble trying to figure out how to get to their parking lot, but we were sure glad we did! We were greeted warmly and seated in a cozy booth. The minimalist decor and soothing music was wonderful. We had a generous and delicious cup of soup first. Egg Flower for my husband, and Hot and Sour for me. They were both flavorful and hot. Next we had pot stickers, pan-fried, of course. The texture was perfect. Brown and crisp on the sides, and soft and chewy everywhere else. The filling was tasty, too. Our main dish was Sesame Beef, one of our favorites. They typically stir fry it here, but we asked for the traditional deep-fried version. We weren't disappointed. The dish was absolutely delicious! We had enough leftover for another meal for the two of us. We will definitely be back!

Dashi broth is seasoned well with an intense fish flavor. Noodles were cooked just right. Chicken karage was a little on the dark side, but still had great flavor. The waiter went above and beyond to ensure our party of five was well-attended, making great suggestions and providing prompt service. Honestly, his kindness and attention to detail was on par with service I would expect from a more exclusive establishment. Thanks for making our evening special. Everyone in my party opted for the soba noodle dish, except for me. While I'm sure theirs was delicious, I really enjoyed the Char Siu Tonkotsu ramen dish I ordered. The soup had a rich and flavorful broth, the noodles were done to my liking, and the slices of pork were surprisingly robust. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. The dining room isn't a large space, but the restaurant has done an excellent job designing the layout so as to maximize seating options. The tables are roomy with benches along the walls, and very comfortable and sturdy chairs everywhere else. The lighting was a little bright for my liking, but that's to be expected in a strip mall retail space. Even though I can't give them any more stars in this review, if they could refine the lighting I'd find a way to do so! I am very appreciative for the caring staff who helped make my day extra special. We had a lovely time at Ibendoo Ramen, Thank you!

The inside was very clean and felt big even though it's a small place. They thought about how to lay it out. I ordered the salmon cream cheese burrito. The diagonal cut made it where I couldn't get all the parts of the burrito in one bite. This meant all cream cheese in multiple bits and then the other half all fish and veggies. The fish was very fresh and delicious. Due to size the burrito split because the seaweed didn't overlap. My husband got a spicy version and was disappointed that it wasn't spicy at all. It also fell apart. The miso soup is the best we have had in a long time. The salad it came with was just coleslaw mix with nonexistent dressing. In all we will go back and try normal rolls to see if it's worth it. Price is definitely worth it. We left full.
