What I received today (Cauliflower Rigatoni with Grilled Chicken and Pad Thai) was definitely the quality and experience I expected. Absolutely delicious and had everything we asked for given in a timely manner. When the Noodles & Company on Route 30 shut down, I was disappointed. So imagine my surprise when I saw one open on Fruitville Pike! I was so excited, I stopped to eat there two days in a row, but they were two very different experiences. My Saturday lunch was great - no line, quick service, and food every bit as amazing as I remember. I had the Bangkok Curry and my friends had the spaghetti and meatballs and one of the new salads with a cup of chicken noodle soup. Everything was incredible, and we left happy. Sunday's dinner experience wasn't so smooth - it took about 25 minutes for my salad and my daughter's mac and cheese kid's dinner. Her noodles were cold and the broccoli side dish was still raw. The serving was pretty paltry, too. The noodles looked so sad in their black plastic tray, especially compared to my brimming bowl. I had the Vera Cruz salad with grilled chicken - it had real chunks of bacon, and little bricks of delicious corn shaved off the cob. Absolutely delicious. I shared some of it with my daughter since I had so much and she was still hungry after eating her noodles. I couldn't figure out why it took 25 minutes to get our meals, but I assume that was the reason for the cold noodles. There were only two groups ahead of us in line, so it's not like the place was packed. One of the staff came through and cleaned our section - twice - while we waited. (We were the only ones seated there.) I will be back again, because I do really like the menu - it's diverse and usually delicious - but I hope the results are more consistent in future visits. If not, I'll just have to get my Noodles & Company fix somewhere else in my travels. As it is, it will be a long time before my daughter's willing to give them another try. read more

Food and portions are an "ok" and we have been here a few times. The reason for the one star is that we had received some very bad news right before entering this establishment and I was visibly upset. This is not a full service establishment, yet one of the young women repeatedly kept coming over to our table to interrupt our meal and to ask us if we needed anything. It wasn't to see if I was ok. I kept telling her we did not need anything and she kept coming over. It was excessive. On our way out, we caught her and another young woman who worked there staring at us and whispering and giggling. This wasn't paranoia. It really stunk and was super immature. I wrote to the manager who basically took their side saying something to the tune of, are you sure she wasn't being helpful? She wasn't. It was clear. We won't be back. read more

If you're starving go here and it's OK but it's full of fake flavors in an over abundance of carbohydrates. Prices are decent and the service was friendly. We had 2 Asian dishes. I wasn't sure what to expect but I knew I wanted to try this place out and all I know is, I dig it! I wish there was one near my place. They have a variety type of dishes to choose from. You basically order your food at the counter and they bring it out when it's ready. The place was clean and there was no problem finding a table or parking. I do have a major problem, but it is not with the restaurant. The little strip mall it is in was designed VERY poorly. I must warn you if you try to drive around here to see what is available, you most likely will run into a road leading you out of the strip mall. There is really no road to loop around in a circle. Your basically going to have to do a U-turn or else it will lead you out to the main road. Very, very poor road design. Back to the restaurant, it was pretty inexpensive to eat here. Not McDonald's inexpensive, but inexpensive for the decent quality of food they serve here. Ingredients were fresh and the food came out rather quickly. The staff is friendly. We had a chance to talk to the Asst. Manager for a few minutes. She allowed a friend of ours to swap her bottled water for a fountain drink at no extra charge, after her transaction was complete! There were no tables filled with dirty dishes like there were last week at the ROUTE 30 location! (See my pic and review of that location) Since we brought a friend, we each got something different so we could share and try multiple things. We had the Japanese pan noodles, Pad Thai, Indonesian Peanut Sauté, chicken noodle soup, caesar salad and the Potstickers. All were good, loved the spice of the Sauté. Pad Thai was good but only had a little bit, our friend took my bowl and gave me here Sauté. This location has made me change my mind about the chain. Great job Fruitville Pike Staff! read more

I had the thai hot pot here, it was okay. The food is just your generic chain quality type of food. Don't expect to be blown away by it but it's not terrible. It's passable. It's cheap, it's fast. The broth had a good spicy kick to it though. Definitely not authentic asian but not your overly greasy kind of american/asian food. I would say this place is an upgrade from real fast food but its about the same quality as any other big chains out there. Service here is great though, they still bring out the food to you even though you're not tipping them. Space is clean and well lit. At the end of the night when they were about to close, they gave us all their rice krispies for free since they didn't want to waste it and throw it out. 3 stars for the food. 4 stars for the service. Noodles is about my favorite go-to restaurant that always hits the spot for dinner or lunch. I do not have a local Noodles near home, so whenever I see one I always stop and try and get my fix in. This particular establishment is set-up similar to most, but on this occasion (and when I have visited in the past) the staff and cleanliness of this place is superb. Multiple times throughout my meal a worker came up to my party and asked if we were enjoying our meal and if there was anything they could do. I also believe the manager came over at one point to check in with us as well. They are so nice and accommodating here with their service- Noodles only hires the best I guess! For food- I cannot speak to any of the menu besides the Penne Rosa dish, since I have only gotten that every time I have gone to Noodles and Company. It is THAT good. Another tip is to always opt for the parmesan encrusted chicken since it is unbelievable in taste and goes great with my dish of choice. I was able to sample toe pot sticker appetizer this time I went and it did not disappoint either. I would love to add some room for improvement for this place but from value, to serving size, to staff it is AMAZING. keep it up noodles! read more

Customized my Noodles & Company order and went with the Pork BBQ Mac and Cheese and I think it is the best thing you can order. Added a side Thai Curry soup for $1 more. The restaurant is designed well with outdoor seating and a cool new soda machine. You can go Vegan, Gluten Free (or almost, they can't 100% guarantee it), add different meats, cheeses, ect. The service here was outstanding and our order came out in 5 minutes. This was a good cheap meal and they don't accept tips. You just leave your dishes and go. Went to noodle and company for take out...I'm gf and vegan which can be tricky when ordering...not once did I get the typical eye roll I get when I'm at other restraunts..they were so accommodating! And great customer service... I order gf fusilli and marinara... I told them " i would like my fusilli swimming in marinara..lots of marinara, I mean swimming in it!" I got home and on the container says swimming in marinara...I thought that was funny, and gave me a smile and laugh. They truly went above and beyond! Plus cheap, and delicious! After going back and forth deciding to tell a manager at the company about my last visit I decided to contact them. The manager I spoke to agreed with my sandwich compliant and claimed it was a company decision to drown it in that much sauce against store management's preference not to. While denying any wrongdoing with the gritty sandy texture to the pot stickers (she actually was kinda rude and even went saw far as to say they don't cook with sand....duh!) she did invite me back for another meal on the house. This time I choose something totally different; a Pad Thai bowl. Unfortunately I can't say my impression changed at all. It was a bowl of noodles, dry, and bland in color. I had to look really hard to find the other ingredients; cabbage, egg, carrot that was listed on the menu. On the plus side the bean sprouts did add a welcoming crunch to an otherwise very flat tasting meal. Once again the place was completely empty. I dined during the week during my lunch hour and was honestly expecting much more traffic. The shopping center was packed with cars until you came to their lot. Inside no trash cans in sight in the dining area so I left my trash be which made me feel uncomfortable. I sat near that empty coffee bar station trying for the life of me to determine its purpose and came up confused at best. Let me start by saying I am BLOWN AWAY at how professional and polite everyone is at this location! I stopped in during the "dinner rush" on a weekend and the wait times were longer than usual. After about 15-20 minutes without our food, I checked with one of the girls working the register to see how much longer we had. She explained they had a very large order in front of us and were in the middle of refreshing a few items. I thanked her and went on my merry way. Now this is where they shocked me. Not only did she bring us out our food IMMEDIATELY, she also gave us a free bowl coupon and a doggie bag of their delicious rice crispies to make up for the wait time. I've honestly never been a big fan of their food, but after my experience with their employees I will most definitely be back again! read more

First time at a Noodles and Company. Not impressed. Not bad, but not impressed. I ordered an appetizer of pot stickers and the Bangkok Curry with pork. My lady ordered Pad Thai with shrimp. Pot stickers were sizeable, bland and over cooked on the grill. Definitely something frozen and maybe allowed to thaw prior to cooking on the grill. The cook forgot to add the pork to my curry, quickly remedied by the staff. The sweetness of the coconut nicely juxtaposed with the salty tang off the braised pork. Would have really liked some fresh Thai Basil to add depth to the flavor profile. Pad Thai was completely forgettable. Dish was merely spicy, absolutely no depth. Shrimp was unseasoned, no peanuts were to be found, and noodles were unremarkable. I did like that we could order and sit down for a few minutes while our food was prepared. The outside seating was nice too. This is a place I might bring the kids when I don't particularly care about having an authentic meal. If you want good Thai in Lancaster, I highly recommend Sa La Thai on Queen. Lunch quality every bit as good as dinner with reasonable portions and prices. Noodles & Company is a good place to come for a quick bite. However, it's just like other fast/casual place. You can get a decent meal here, but it won't be the best thing you've ever eaten. For the price (8-10$) it's better than decent and seems like they use as 'quality' ingredients as possible. I've never had anything that taste bad, just usually needs more seasoning or srircha. Most recently, I came here and whipped out my laptop to do some work. Not much of a place that people come to get work done, but it's perfect for doing so. read more

Even after stating I was GF and asking if my meal was truly GF with the rice noodle substitutions, I still found regular elbow pasta mixed in with my rice noodles. Failure all around - did not cook my noodles separately and also staff was wrong about the alfredo sauce being GF (even after she looked at a sheet at the register). Flavors were not even remotely close to traditional. Korean was overly sour. Japanese was overly salty.
