had a really weird experience here about 30 minutes before close, and i'm sorry my friend and i came in that late, but we were just trying to grab some food. while ordering i stumbled over/mispronounced a word, but otherwise everything was completely normal. i paid, they had us pull forward, and we waited forever for our food. when they finally brought it out, we parked in the lot to eat. a few minutes later we noticed a cop circling the parking lot, but didn't really think anything of it. when we left, she followed behind us for a bit and eventually pulled up next to me. i rolled my window down and she asked if we were okay and if we had been drinking or anything. we both said no, and she told us "okay, i believe you, the people at fazolis were just really worried." we even apologized to her because we were so confused and didn't want to cause any trouble. i genuinely don't know what could have made the staff concerned enough to involve the police besides me stumbling over my words while ordering. neither of us had been drinking, i was driving completely normally, and nothing else happened. if someone stumbling over a word is enough to make you assume they're intoxicated, that's pretty concerning considering people can have stutters, speech impediments, anxiety, disabilities, etc. i understand being concerned for someone's safety, and again, sorry we came in close to closing, but involving the police over this was extremely unnecessary and made the whole experience really uncomfortable. read more

I stopped in at Fazoli's tonight for dinner and ordered the loaded fettuccine Alfredo with gluten-free noodles, no bacon, and extra mushrooms. I was pleasantly surprised that they didn't charge me extra for the mushrooms, which was a nice touch. The food came out hot and looked good, but my only concern is the amount of Alfredo sauce--it just doesn't seem like there's enough. For the price, I'd really hate to have to go home and make my own sauce just to finish my meal or enjoy the leftovers for lunch tomorrow. Ok, so I'm an Italian Food lover as stated in my profile and I fell in love with Fazoli's way back when I moved to Columbus, Ohio, in 1997. I started with the Classic Sampler back then and it continues to be a favorite to this day. Today, I saw one of their new menu items and ordered the Triple Meat Lasagna. It was very good but honestly a little bit too much extra meat on top for me. I would have preferred more ground beef mixed inside the layers of pasta but hey that's just me. I'll also admit that their marinara sauce is so excellent that if you just bury any food item in it, I would probably eat it. Service at this location was above and beyond expectations. Better than the two Indy locations I visit regularly. This was due to one exceptional staff member doing triple duty as cashier, food delivery to the tables, and busing tables. She checked on us more than once and was prompt in getting us "go" boxes plus taking our second order and delivering our desserts. read more

Don't eat here! The manager needs to be fired! She is the most uncompassionate person that I have ever met and is very unprofessional. She made more of a scene than the other woman. A woman walked in who looked like she needed some help, squatted down by the front counter and was looking through her bag maybe for some money. She looked possibly homeless. The manager comes around and starts yelling and scolding her to move out of the way of paying customers so she goes to a table. Then I get up about to buy her a meal when another nice girl did the exact same right before me. So the lady gets up and says thank you to the girl and she goes to a quiet corner of the restaurant to eat her food quietly. That is when the police show up because the manager called them and had her escorted out and she couldn't even finish her meal. Completely appalling! 3/27/20 I came here for dinner and still in the company vehicle which is a 20 ft box truck and a clearance of 11 feet. I wasn't aware that the inside of the restaurant was open for take out, so I attempted to go close to the drive through but cautiously as to not hit the roof. The staff informs me upon my order that I can come inside and order to make it easier for me with the vehicle. That was super sweet of them to do so! I ordered the chicken carbonara pasta dish, and 2 orders of the fettuccine Alfredo for my cousins. The food was pretty quickly prepared, as I was able to get my food quicker than some of the people in the drive thru. Regardless, with how things have changed with the covid19, I was impressed with how well they ran their establishment. Will definitely return again. read more

The food and service were great, and our food was hot. The restaurant was very clean. The only down side, which was significant, was that the restaurant was so cold, everyone had to wear a coat while eating. I mentioned it to an employee, but I was told that employees are not allowed to change the thermostat; "only corporate can do it." Certainly a manager has that authority, or could contact the proper person? Every single customer had to wear a coat. That's a very uncomfortable way to eat a meal. We might've even stayed for dessert if the temperature inside wasn't so intolerable. Regarding Fazoli's in general (not pertaining to this particular restaurant): As far as prices, it's pretty exorbitant to charge close to $10 for spaghetti. There's no longer a small and regular size of pasta, just one large size. No doubt this is an effort to charge everyone more. We used a buy-one-get-one-free coupon for baked spaghetti with marinara sauce. If not for the coupon, we wouldn't have chosen to eat here. The senior meal is a great bargain for $5.00, which includes a "senior portion" of pasta and a tossed salad. This is a good deal and the biggest reason that I come to Fazoli's on other occasions. I hope this never ends and that the price stays the same. Most seniors can't afford to eat out often. When a family member worked at Fazoli's years ago, it was an affordable family restaurant. I loved the days of minestrone soup, pasta salad, and the four cheese and tomato panini. These are gone now, replaced by dishes containing meat, mostly chicken. Again, we received great service at this Fazoli's (on Saron Drive) for this visit. Even the newer employee was excellent. Our only complaint was how cold it was inside. read more

We had a good experience here for supper tonight. Yes, Friday nights are always busy in Lex, but for the crowd, our wait at the drive thru was just fine. I had the club sub and the person with me got the cheese stuffed shells. Everything was fresh and hot. The sub was one of the best I've had in a long time with lots of meat and fresh tomatoes and lettuce. These subs are at least two meals. The shells were also a very generous portion. All restaurant food prices have increased, but Fazoli's is still good value for the price. While I've had iffy food at other Fazoli's, Saron Dr is always great! This review is of the Saron Drive location in Lexington, KY on 4/19 around 6:00. I tried to get names of the three management, but when I called the lady refused to tell me her name or the others when I said I would be connecting with corporate, which I still intend to do so. First, everything was what you expect at Fazoli's during a pandemic. Good food, good service despite being short staffed during the dinner rush. Staff definitely tried their hardest. This review is about how the management treated their employee in front of costumers. Carol, a very sweet lady, was the only front of house person taking orders, etc.. super friendly and friendly demeanor. My son was fascinated by the expo window and stood watching several minutes before he decided that he MUST have spaghetti. If you have a tired toddler, you know this will end in two ways: screaming or spaghetti. I asked Carol if it would be possible to have the tiniest cup of noodles, like three pieces, with a little sauce to appease my toddler. If not, no big deal. She smiled and chuckled, and told me it should not be a problem. A few minutes later, I heard/saw the managers (male and female) berating her for the order, made rude remarks, and the made her pay for an entire kids meal. This is a minimum wage job...and even with a discount it is a part of her paycheck. Three paying costumers heard the managers talk about her while she was standing in front of us. All of looked at each other in complete disbelief and disgust, and remarked that we could not believe that this was happening over a request for three noodles. I told her it really didn't matter and we did not need the order. She told me that it had been comped, don't worry, and we could also get breadsticks if we would like with a pained smile that tried to pass an reassuring.. I was beyond embarrassed at this point as well. Carol's personality changed, she was still positive and professional but was hurt/upset. I apologized for causing this, and I asked if it she paid for it, but she only smiled and told me not to worry. I tried give her money (more than the meal cost) twice, but she refused and told me that getting my son the meal was her pleasure and she hoped he liked it. I was beyond impressed with the employee and absolutely disgusted in how the managers treated their employee. There were a million ways to resolve this but publicly embarrassment and forced salary loss is not it Fazoli's, train your management to be more like Carol. read more

Years ago, I lived in the area and I frequented this location. It's located in the Tates Creek area, just off of Man O War. It's one of several Lexington Fazoli's locations. As a matter of fact, it's here in Lexington where the Fazoli's chain first started. And their headquarters is here too. That makes them somewhat local, right? They have a drive thru, but since I like to take full advantage of the complimentary bread sticks, I always choose the dine in option. It's fast casual style, so you order at the counter. They bring you your food, and they also walk around with a basket of breadsticks, dropping off additional free breadsticks. They have a $5.55 lunch meal that comes with your choice of two basic options and a drink. You can upgrade to more premium items for $1 each. I chose the chicken fettuccine and baked spaghetti, both were premium $1 upgrades. I seriously think it's one of the best inexpensive meals in Lexington. Everything was piping hot. The baked spaghetti literally came straight out of the oven. They do need to deep clean their self serve soda fountain in the lobby. That's the only bad thing that I have to say. I hadn't been to Fazoli's since my kids grew up, but I had a coupon tonight so I thought I'd give it a try. Thank goodness for the coupon. I ordered a spinach strawberry bacon salad, a meatball slider and an unsweetened tea. The total was around $12.50 (with $5 off it was 7.50). I was in the drive through lane. The attendant at the window was very polite. She took payment and told me my order would be right up. I waited over 8 minutes... for a salad! The slider was "over heated" by the time I got it and the bread was dry. I'm guessing from being in the warming tray for longer than needed. The salad was sad (that's kind). The tea tasted freshly brewed which is sometimes rare for fast food restaurants. Nevertheless, next time I'm going to pay $7.50 for a salad, I'll go to Chic-fil-a or get carry out at Friday's or Chili's. YOU CAN DO BETTER FAZOLI'S!! read more

On 10/16/23 at 11:30 am I stepped into Fazoli's. It was clean and Chole M. greeted me from the register as I came in. The young woman who brought my "To Go" order to my table was very helpful, she repeated what I had bought and in which bag everything was in. I can't remember her name...shame on me. I have to tell you that I love the saltiness of the garlic bread sticks that come with the meals. My husband was happy with the Speg and Meatballs as well as the Lasagna that he ate the next day. I had the Mozz Balls to start with, 12 for 3.99 is a good price and they were tasty. But the real surprise was the amount of Lasagna you get for the price and how really tasty that was. We had extra sauce on the side. Which I requested just in case. I am glad I did, because we like our pastas saucy. But the flavor and texture of the dish was right on for any Lasagna. I have been to this location a number of times and can tell you that the experience can and will vary depending on the day, time and staff when you dine. I have had experiences that were worthy of a 4 or 5 star rating and at other times worthy of a 2. More often than not, it has been middle of the road. Positives: The food is usually hot and fresh, the lobby and dining area is typically clean, the restaurant uses real silverware and dishes which very nice and, most of the time, the register workers are kind and upbeat. Negatives: Breadstick service is very slow or non-existant. Lunch time from 12-1 is typically very packed at this location so be prepared to wait to order and to receive your meal. This location has not yet adopted the Coke freestyle machines (which would be a big positive). I want to add that I am a huge fan of Fazoli's and enjoy frequenting their restaurants when I am on the mood for fast Italian. As a summary for this location, I would recommend dining at this establishment, but be prepared for varying levels of service/satisfaction. read more

Having never been to a fazolis before I wasn't expecting much but this place is a hit for what it is. Food- I was in the mood for pasta so I went with the ultimate fettuccine bowl. It comes with grilled chicken, bacon mushrooms and broccoli. I was surprised that the chicken was actually white meat and good size veggies as well for it being fast food. Service- Great staff at this location. A younger guy helped explain the menu and also checked on us while we were eating. Also a cool thing about this place is every 10 mins or an employee walks around with fresh breadsticks. They are really good. Overall for a fast food Italian place is it just as good if not better than Olive Garden. If your having a craving for Italian this should do the trick! read more

This is going to sound ridiculous, but I LOVE FAZOLIS. I went on a streak throughout forever without eating it but once I did, it made my eating habits awful. I eat there on average about 3 times a week for the past few months. Which is awful. I always order pizza. It's great. The $5 lunch deal before 2:30 pm is what I normally order. This time, I sat inside, which I do occasionally. But mainly drive thru. The atmosphere was awesome, especially for someone eating alone and trying not to forget to eat on their graduation weekend. The workers were so very nice and of course they come around and ask you if you want extra breadsticks. I always have an amazing experience at Fazolis. A friend and I were in KY, and hopped in here before a VIP tour at Taylor Made horse farm for a quick bite. I was pleasantly surprised! It was cheap (less than $11 for both of us) and very tasty! We both had the salad and pizza slice lunch combo, with a drink. I loved the Italian vinaigrette dressing they had, and the pizza had a little crunch to it that I like. As we were driving around a day later, we saw another one and realized that this is a chain. Their #1 combo is my favorite--spaghetti with meat sauce with a salad (or pizza slice), a soft drink and all the bread sticks you can eat. Delicious! All for $7 and change. The other day I had a luncheon special consisting of a half serving of spaghetti with meat sauce, fettuccine alfredo, and a slice of pizza. All were good, but the pepperoni pizza slice was amazing! Better than that served at most pizzerias. I couldn't finish it all, and had to take the spaghetti home for lunch the next day. Granted it's fast food, ordered and picked up at a counter, but the food itself is as good as that served in Italian restaurants where the tab would be four times as much. read more

I really want to like Fazoli's. I mean, Iove Italian food, carbs, and fast food; so this should be a marriage made in heaven. Unfortunately, this relationship needs counseling. The food is pretty good, and the concept of fast Italian food is a good one. Trouble is that there places that just so it better. Little ceasar's pizza taste better and it is significantly less expensive. Blaze pizza has much better service. The two times I've been there the last month (at least at lunchtime) sometimes you have to wait 5-10 minutes before anyone even comes out to wait on you. I used the drive through last week, and ordered a sub. Although the sub was really good; the way they put it in the box, it ended up spilled out when I opened because they put the sub in the lid of the box?! Until this chain learns it's the little things that keep the customers coming back, try on if the other establishments that I mentioned above. You'll have a happier experience. read more

I love Fazoli's. We hardly have any issues. Everything is always great. What a lot of businesses don't realize, even when there are issues it's all about how they are handled. That's where Amber, the manager, deserves major kudos. My partner and I went inside to order Togo since the drive thru was long. Everything was ready quickly and everyone was nice. When we got home we noticed the "free" baked spaghetti was made with meat sauce when it's suppose to come with just regular marinara. Normally it wouldn't be a big deal, but my partner doesn't eat meat. I couldn't switch with him since mine contained meat also. He told me not to worry about it, but he didn't have anything else to eat. So I called and spoke to Amber. She was so professional, and kind. She double checked my receipt and told me they would have the new one without meat ready in the drive thru. I pulled up and she gave it to me while apologizing. Offered me a free dessert also for the mistake. She handled the situation perfectly. There's too many places that don't know how to handle situations when it's their mess up. Food industry employees and management could learn a lot from her. As for me, I have worked in food and beverage for over 12 years of my life and it's great seeing others take care of their guests the way I have done. read more
