I used to love dining at Noodles and Company at the Peoria location. The food was always fresh, cooled right and perfectly balanced. Also the staff was always friendly, accommodating and efficient. I ordered two meals today and my statement above is no longer accurate. The previous staff and management is no longer there and it shows. The food was ready quickly, however, the chicken was burnt to black and dry and noodles were overcooked. To say I am disappointed is an understatement. We have been waiting to try this new place until the lines were shorter and today was the day. We were quite surprised at the quality and taste of the food and the great service! Kevin had the Beef Stroganoff noodles and I had their "signature" Truffle Mac. Both dishes were really, really good ... much better than we had hoped for in a fast food kinda place!! The dishes were flavorful, fresh and well seasoned, no need for any extra salt. It's rare that we would give a 5 to a fast food kinda place, but this little fast food place is right on the mark ... good food, fast friendly service, nice decor and ambience. I tried Noodles & Company for the first time last week. I was actually pretty impressed with it. The interior was clean and they have a nice outdoor seating area. The menu was easy to read and sizable without being overwhelming. They have a copy on the window so you can stand outside the door (out of the way) and take a look, which is a good idea since there are tons of choices and customization options. They also accept online orders, which I will probably utilize in the future. The staff greeted me when I walked in and asked if I had any questions about the menu. I ordered (to go) and the food was ready in less than five minutes. I chose the Alfredo MontAmore, which is basic spaghetti with alfredo sauce, spinach, tomato, mushroom (which I had them leave off) and parmesan chicken. The pasta itself was a bit underwhelming - just a bit too al dente for me. However, the sauce was good and the chicken was excellent. I ordered the small portion and it was somewhere around $6 tax and all. The portion was actually pretty hearty for it being a small. All in all, I think it's definitely worth trying if you enjoy pasta or want something a bit different than your normal "fast food." read more

First off when I called to place my phone order I was placed on a "quick" hold that lasted 7minutes. I had to hang up and call back. Then when I got to Noodles I went to the pick up counter to get our orders. I waited and waited and waited. Finally a server asked if I had been helped. I said no. When he came back to help me he need assistance ringing up the orders. Come to find out the manager was one of the guys staring at me when I came in. He finally assisted the server. I love Noodles so much!!! I used to frequent the Wheaton (IL) location nearly 10 years ago, and I could never figure out why there wasn't one in the Peoria area. I even visited Bloomington once, just to eat Noodles! So, I was thrilled to see this restaurant open up in the Metro Centre. It's a great location, and the food is as good as ever. I had no problem whatsoever with the wait time, as other reviewers complained. We were through the line and eating our food in 10-15 minutes. The Pasta Fresca is my go-to dish, but buttered noodles are good too. The crowd is a bit younger and more hip, which is great. Really, the only negative thing I could say about this restaurant is that the lock on the ladies room stall was broken.
