The prices are also so low you'll think you've gone back in time (I think I paid $4.50 for a big double cheeseburger the last time I was there). Raber's also hosted and catered our rehearsal dinner. They did a wonderful job. The lighting they have in the space is really good for setting a party mood, there is a full bar, and the food was fantastic (we had tenderloin steaks and chicken). We got so many compliments from our guests. One super nice touch was they wrote a nice message/sign for my wife and I on the chalkboard wall, and then a bunch of our guests added to it with more messages wishing us well, making jokes, etc. It was great. I'll be back for lunch as often as possible, and if I ever need to host a big party again, Raber's will definitely be the first place I talk to.

I guess they don't want your business. I've seen some ridiculous, over the top precautions in light of corona, but this one takes the cake. Management seems to have their own made up concept of what's an appropriate way to handle perceived safety despite the information on the CDC's website. They don't take cash but they let you come inside and stand in front of them and place your order. Makes no sense. The likelihood of you getting corona from my dollar bill is pretty low. Their "safety precautions" don't align with the CDCs latest information on how corona is transferred either. Like what are their employees going to do with my $20 bill when I put it on the counter? Eat it? Lick it? Rub it all over their face? No. They're going to put it in the cash register with their already gloved hand like a normal reasonable human being and they're not going to get corona from touching it. There is literally no point to this policy. This is the first restaurant I've come across that even has this ridiculous and laughable policy. Hugely inconvenient and inconsistent with every other restaurant I have been to. And if management is this illogical they've definitely lost my business, well after corona. These precautions are unreasonable and overzealous for rather mediocre food and mediocre experience. Not worth it in my opinion. And according to one of their employees apparently in phase 4 they're suddenly accepting cash, but how is that any different from accepting it before? It's not. All they did by making this policy was lose out on business and do literally nothing to slow the spread. read more
