Love it. The torpedoes, chili mac, salads, and cinnamon bread are great. The prices are good for what you get.

My daughter recently moved to Bartonville so we thought we'd try a local joint while we worked on…read morethe house. Really glad we did because the pizza at Dave's was great!! Delivery got the order to us in 30 mins - hot, fresh, and good flavor! We'll be calling again when in town for future family get togethers.

Very limited menu which I do appreciate hoping/knowing that less means better bc of its concentration of a few items...pizza was king on menu, but spaghetti, fried chicken and shrimp, with a burger options...I had house salad, iceburg, veggies, cheese, good and bigger than most and one of the house special pizzas (mush, onion, gp, ground beef) NO sausage but seasoned ground beef...hmm, ended up better bc sausage is so hit or miss, and not the best health wise bc of ingredients in it etc...but WOW, what a new favorite!!! Thin side, crispy crust, yet melty cheese and great/generous toppings that the crust held up! No soggy middle of pizza here...I will be back here to try the 'other' famous offering the "Zilla", fresh Italian sweet bread with ham, salami fried green peppers and onions and cheese...looked great! Can't wait to come back! Gotta try this if you haven't! Ps service was outstanding! Personable, order exact...kitchen was excellent!

Review Visit: March 2nd, 2016…read more If there is an earthquake, this place will be playing 52 Card Pickup. My girlfriend had mentioned Tyroni's quite a few times as a place she wanted to try and we finally found the perfect time to go. It was a cold day and we needed something to warm us up. What better than pizza to warm you up and put a smile on our face. We arrived to an empty parking lot. I was certain the place was closed for the day. As we milled about outside trying to see if the place was open, I snapped the selfie above and then we proceeded to try and enter the restaurant. As we were walking in, a waitress was coming up to us to ask if we were okay. We said we were, we were just trying to figure out if the place was open or not. She said we just missed a crowd and had the place to ourselves. Perfect! My girlfriend and I like similar things, so it wasn't too hard to pick out a pizza. The unexpected thing happened when we went to place our order. They had a special of buy one, get one half off. We took them up on the offer and we both ordered our own pizza instead of splitting one. This let us get exactly what we wanted without compromise. Perfect! We did order some breadsticks, so we munched on those while we waited. As with most appetizers, this was a bad ideas a breadsticks tend to be a bit filling. The waitress slid our two pizzas in front of us as we regretted eating so much of our appetizer. We did leave room for pizza, thankfully. Having two full pizzas placed in front of us meant that we were going to go back home in a food coma, for sure. Slowly but surely we worked on the pizza. We sampled each others pizza and agreed that getting our own was the right choice. I liked hers but was not food envious for once. The pizzas were pretty tasty. I don't remember being amazed by it but at the same time, it was exactly what I expected for the price. That happy middle ground between frozen store bought pizza and gourmet. And you know what, that was perfect for what we were needing on this day. We actually came back a few weeks later to get more pizza but declined the second pizza for half off. We had too many left overs from the first visit that we knew better this time around. The second trip was equally as decent as the first one. We knew what we were expecting and Tyroni's delivered on just that. There is a cool aspect to Tyroni's. They have a ton of playing cards embedded in the ceiling. I am sure I asked our waitress about it before but the meaning behind it is long forgotten. Still, a pretty neat thing to see while sitting. Though with my short attention span, I found myself getting lost in looking at all the cards. Tyroni's is a great stop if you need some pizza at a decent price and a decent taste.

When we went in there was a typical local bar complete with several regulars seated chatting with the bartender. There was separated dining room next to the bar area. The bartender brought over menus and left us to examine them. They have your typical bar fare as far as apps go with house made onion rings and mushrooms. They have salads, wraps, burgers, sandwiches, and meals. I got the $10 fried chicken special (available on Thursdays) and my husband got the philly owls nest (Philly horseshoe) Because I got chicken it took about 20 minutes to get our food. It was fresh hot and delicious. My plate was covered with a half chicken, cheesy potatoes and baked beans. The chicken was fried to perfection, crispy and well seasoned. The cheesy potatoes were shredded potatoes au gratin style. The baked beans were a bit sweet, but super smokey. The Philly owls nest was a mound of crispy hand cut fries, gratuitous amounts of Philly beef, bell peppers, grilled onions, and covered in a tasty cheddar cheese sauce. It was àmazing! The portions are huge and the food is fantastic. A great little dive bar tucked into the heart of west Peoria. Like them on Facebook to check out all their daily special!
