I normally wouldn't even write a review for a small business like this, but this isn't good Vietnamese food and I hope to warn the next person driving south through Montgomery looking for a quick, light, flavorful, fresh meal. Find something else. Wait until you pass though New Orleans and try ordering Vietnamese again there. p.s. The name has changed to Pho Life, maybe the pho is good, but, the bun is not. **Review for Noodles Cafe in Montgomery, AL** I had the pleasure of having lunch at Noodles Cafe this past Tuesday, and it was absolutely incredible! For a restaurant located in a strip mall, the atmosphere is impressively elegant and inviting. The servers were exceptionally helpful and friendly, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. I started with the Tom Yum soup--a hot and sour soup with shrimp that was perfect for the rainy day. It was flavorful and comforting, just what I needed. My son and I shared (well, "fought over" might be more accurate!) the Noodles Cafe Sampler, which was a true highlight. The shrimp fried in a wonton wrapper was out of this world--crispy with a delightful snap, yet the shrimp remained juicy and flavorful, unlike the dry texture you often get elsewhere. The chicken satay was equally delicious, tender, and perfectly seasoned. For my main dish, I chose the Yum Woon Sen, which was so delicious I hated leaving any behind--the portions were very generous! My son ordered the spicy noodles with shrimp, and the dish didn't disappoint. The shrimp were large, juicy, and plentiful--a real treat. I can't wait to return and explore more of the menu.
