Next door to them is a fun little snack shop called Miyauchi's Snack Bar. This walk-up food stand was exactly what I was in the mood for. I wanted something affordable, quick and delicious. They had a line forming when I arrived because it was lunch time. Miyauchi's Snack Bar is mostly known for their homemade ice cream. But they also serve burgers, sandwiches and sides. I haven't had a patty melt in years and ordered one with onion rings. Most of the employees here are young folks and they were really nice. For seating, Miyauchi's has outdoor picnic tables that are available on a first-come first-served basis. I got lucky and was able to grab a table as someone was leaving. It was a warm day, so I had to get ice cream after finishing my meal. Miyauchi's Snack Bar has a variety of flavors to choose from. Being the coffee fanatic that I am, I ordered a cup of Kahlua-N-Cream. This place was great and capped off my fun-filled day at Grand Lake.

All of their ice cream is made in-house at their main store and then brought over to this adorable churn-shaped shop, which makes it feel even more special. Every flavor we tried was great. I would definitely go back again -- such a cute atmosphere and amazing ice cream!

Yup, this is GOOD stuff. It's that evil whole milk that gives it its creamy texture! : D Just tart enough so you don't think your eating heavy whipping cream. Now THIS is a yogurt I wouldn't think twice about grabbing and taking to work for a quick compact breakfast. 8 oz might be a little much at one sitting when you're at work, so I'd probably take half out and put it in a smaller container. I see the expiration date's now in white on the lid, making it more visible than the darker ink on the side edge of the black lid someone previously mentioned. I still had to make sure I was buying one with a date later than just a couple of days away. I paid $2.03 (a temporarily reduced price) for one container at Target, the regular price is $2.39 -- about .30 per ounce vs Fage at .24 per ounce (5.3 oz container) or Chobani at .20 per ounce (6 oz container) .. The smooth, creamy texture of Noosa might just be worth the few cents more per ounce.. I, too, might be afraid to let my co-workers in on this find, but I have a Target near me that would be too far from where they live and they have theirs nearby. If you sort of tolerate regular yogurt (don't hate it, but still wish it weren't so tart), try this one -- Noosa finest yoghurt is what it says on the lid. In the store I thought, yeah, sure. Now that I took it home and tried it, I'm a believer. read more

OH My Goodness. I just tried this Yoghurt, I have never took the time to right a review about yoghurt. I am not a fan of flavored Yoghurt, I only eat Fage. Now i guess I just keep it for my cooking. I see this on sale and my husband hates my Yoghurt. I bought 3, and just thought I would try one. OH my I cant believe it. This is the best stuff. I had the honey. YUMMY I have immediately posted it to my face book. and I WELL BE BUYING MORE. My husband said it is the best. Was reading about it and I cant wait to try the Rhubab... I have wasted soooo many tubs of sour tasting yogurt & decided to give Noosa a try & am SO GLAD I did!! I've only tried the honey so far, but it is absolutely delicious! I eat it for breakfast with some fresh strawberries & a little granola sprinkled in. It keeps me full and satisfied all morning. I eat it AGAIN for a late afternoon snack before leaving work & there's no need to go home and cook myself any dinner!! It's satisfying & tastes AWESOME!! YAY! I used to make a special trip out of my way to get this yoghurt in many flavors and I didn't mind paying more for it because it was so good and I substituted it for dessert. However the new recipe has changed what made the yoghurt unique and I won't buy it anymore as is. I wished they would have reduced the amount of fruit content to lower the calories instead of changing the recipe. I enjoyed the plain yoghurt better without the fruit anyway. Sad. read more

This yogurt is the very best I've ever tasted. It is so yummy and is better than having an ice cream Sunday. Strawberry Rhubarb is my favorite. It's as good as having a piece of strawberry rhubarb pie without all the fats and calories. Only 4 points on weight watchers/per serving. I'm not even a yogurt fan. The Best Yoghurt I have ever tasted!! My fave is the Key Lime. It is so creamy and delish, there are times I don't even stir it up, I just dig right in. I could eat a huge bowl of the creamy part all by itself. My only issue would be the lid. I have yogurt for lunch everyday, and was eating Greek for the protein, but had to add a little sugar for the taste until I tried Noosa! It is the best yogurt, and I cannot go back to any other brands! My favorites are coconut (so creamy with real coconut in it) and blueberry. After seeing the reviews particulary about the strawberry/Rubarb I'm going to request Vons in my area to expand their flavors. Right now they only carry honey, raspberry and my favorite - blueberry. When visiting Australia three years ago I fell in love with their yoghurt especially the passion fruit. The yoghurt there was the creamiest I had ever eaten. When shopping at Whole Foods recently I saw this Australian style passion fruit yoghurt called Noosa. OMG it was exactly the same! I will never buy another brand. read more

Not to worry vegetarian's. The Noosa Yogert has a kosher symbol of a u with a circle around it. It does not have gelatin from cow hoofs. This symbol means that they don't mix dairy with animal. THis means it is from a vegetable source. read more

They aren't currently letting folks sit inside to eat and drink (they have signage that shares that they have a little one with chronic illness who they are trying to keep healthy) but they have a few chairs and tables outside and it was a lovely day so that is exactly what we did! I was a little concerned that it might be too tart, but she explained that the rhubarb is caramelized before freezing into the popsicle. It turned out to be just the right amount of slightly sweet, not cloying in the least. I don't know that I got any notes of jasmine, perhaps because the rhubarb flavor was so front-and-center, but I really enjoyed it nonetheless. I found this to be a nice indulgence on a hot day, and expect I will find my way here the next time I'm wandering around Old Town in the heat and need a sweet treat.
