There are so many options and we ordered way too much food but everything we had was great. We ordered the scallion pancakes, combo xaio dumplings (soup dumplings), spicy Szechuan popcorn chicken w/fried noodles, orange chicken w/white rice and chocolate bao for dessert. The pancakes were crisp and flavorful - not too greasy at all. We enjoyed the xaio dumplings again fresh and flavorful. My husband really enjoyed the Szechuan popcorn chicken- you could tell it was hand breaded and he said the spice and flavor was spot on. The fried noodles were flavorful and had a slight spice to them. (We originally were going to order reg noodles but our server let us know that reg noodles were just plain noodles so sauce or anything). The orange chicken was fresh and flavorful- everything had large portions! We honestly could've split an entree and still had plenty. The chocolate bao - so delicious- I still have dreams about this! Would highly recommend everything!

A solid 3.5. I don't think corpus is known for their fine cuisine but this was pretty enjoyable…read more Walked in on a Friday afternoon with half my kiddos football team. Our waiter earned a fantastic tip for the party of 9. The popcorn shrimp dish was a little too spicy for my liking after I was assured it wasn't "that hot". The shrimp tasted fresh and were pretty big and juicy. I celebrated my recent 20 lbs weight loss by ordering double carbs for sides ...rice and noodles--both needed a little salt. My kiddo had a combo spicy soup that was too spicy for him but he did his best. Perfectly cooked veggies. He definitely received his recommended daily serving for the day! Huge portions, fair prices--ain't mad at it! Nothing fancy, but the restrooms were pretty clean so that's a plus. See you next time I'm in town!

Great food! There will be a wait on weekends and parking is tight. But food is worth it.read more

I treated my dad to a family lunch here for Father's Day and even though it was 1) a Sunday, 2)…read morelunch hour rush, and 3) a well known family holiday, the waitlist moved along quickly and the service was prompt. My first impression was already good, but the experience continued to get better. The menu is great, with plenty of classic Taiwanese and Shanghainese staples and a couple of respectful but experimental dishes. Lots of xiao long bao options. Drink menu has a lot of variety. It's super pretty inside! Great for a special occasion. EVERYTHING we tried was so good. Portions are on the smaller side, but it felt like the perfect amount of food for us. We ordered: - Wild mushroom fried rice (5++/5): This was the surprise hit at our table. I would come back just for this alone - Beef roll (5/5): Delicious!! These aren't rice rolls, but they're rolled in what looks like more like pastry. - Wagyu beef xiao long bao (4/5): I don't think wagyu beef was necessary if it's going to be hidden in soupy xiao long bao anyway, but we ordered it for the special occasion. This was still delicious but I'll go with more of the classics in the future. - Matcha lava xiao long bao (3/5): This was a little too sweet/overpowering for me but my matcha loving dad really enjoyed these! This was my first time visiting, but wow, this restaurant quickly flew up my rankings of favorite places to eat in Houston! - Ambiance: 5/5 - Food: 5/5 - Service: 5/5

We initially wanted to go to San Dong Noodle & Company, but my mother was craving chicken feet, so…read moreplans changed, and we ended up here instead. Honestly, no regrets--especially after learning their promotion gave us three free drinks. We ordered 2 HK Style Lemon Teas and 1 HK Style Milk Tea alongside: * Sautéed Beef Noodle * Crab King Shui Mai * Chicken Claw with Black Bean Sauce * Steamed Shrimp Dumpling * Steamed Rice Noodle with Fried Bread * Beef Rice Soup (Congee) HK Style Lemon Tea - Refreshing and pleasant. Not exceptionally memorable, but I'm glad it didn't taste bland or diluted like some versions tend to. A dependable classic. HK Style Milk Tea - Definitely tasted like it was made with condensed or evaporated milk--I recognize that flavor anywhere. Rich, creamy, and honestly very satisfying. I genuinely couldn't decide which drink I liked more between this and the lemon tea at first--but by the end of the meal, this absolutely won me over. Somehow, it reminded me of cà phê sữa đá (Vietnamese coffee), but without the caffeine jitters. Smooth, comforting, and dangerously easy to drink. Beef Rice Soup (Congee) - Scorching hot. Like accidentally-burned-my-tongue hot. Once I recovered from my poor decision-making, I enjoyed how traditional it tasted. Very Chinese/Vietnamese comfort-food energy: simple, warm, and intentionally mild so it pairs beautifully with stronger-flavored dishes. Steamed Rice Noodle with Fried Bread - Very clean flavor profile with a nice structure that held together well. The fried bread maintained a satisfying crispness inside. My mom especially loved this one, and I found myself pairing bites of it with the congee. Chicken Claw with Black Bean Sauce - Oh yeah, this hit the spot for my Asian bloodline. A very classic flavor and exactly what I was craving once it hit the table. Compared to Vietnamese chicken feet, this leaned more into that signature Chinese steamed softness rather than chewiness. My brother actually preferred this style because it's easier to eat around the bone. One thing I noticed, though, was that the flavor became salty pretty quickly if eaten back-to-back. Thankfully, the congee balanced things out perfectly. Steamed Shrimp Dumpling - A forever fan favorite. Perfectly steamed, moist, and delicious. My only tiny critique was that the wrapper had a slightly grainier texture than I expected, though I'm unsure what caused that. Sautéed Beef Noodle - Flavor-wise? Delicious. Health-wise? Probably best not to ask questions. It leaned pretty greasy--the kind that lingers on your lips like McDonald's, where you know it's probably not great for you but somehow still tastes ridiculously good. Hahaha. Crab King Shui Mai - I actually really enjoyed this one. It tasted slightly pork-forward (maybe a mix?), though admittedly I'm not fully versed in the art of shui mai. Regardless, the meat was incredibly tender with a perfect amount of fat that made each bite feel rich and satisfying. The atmosphere here was very peaceful, which honestly made for a relaxing meal. Since this was a grand opening, everything felt impressively clean and well-kept. Service was professional, and I appreciated our waitress's attentiveness. It's also self-service for water and utensils, which keeps things easy. Portion sizes were generous overall, making this feel like a satisfying family meal.

It's mostly self service, and they bring the food out when it's ready, so it makes for a quicker, more casual experience. They don't have a huge menu, but there's a fair amount of typical dim sum options. The food was good overall, with some dishes better than others. The fried shrimp ball was a bit too salty, and the noodle dish didn't come with any protein, so it felt a little pricey for just veggies. Portion sizes were pretty standard. Parking is in a shared lot and can be limited since it fills up quickly. Overall, it's a solid spot if you're looking for a quick meal and some basic dim sum.
