Been in town for work and really wanted to try this place out for dinner from the reviews. Ordered as pictured to-go, food was prepared fast. Lemongrass chicken was really good, wish they gave me a bit more rice. Noodles were okay, wish it had a little more sauce but still great. A bit pricey, but they do not hold back on portions at all. Owners were very nice, and offered me a pack of donuts that they didn't sell out earlier in the day. Can say they were just as good. Please come support this family, they're great people! read more

Stopped in for lunch on my was through town. Seated immediately, drink and entree order taken quickly. Seems family owned based upon staff. Metal utensils, paper napkins, decorative plates. Ordered curry Cambodian chicken with an egg roll appetizer. The egg roll appetizer came with 2 egg rolls of different size which indicates they were homemade, not frozen and fried. Tasted fresh and very good. My entree was curried chicken, bell peppers, onions, green beans, and peanuts. It was pretty spicy for me but I am pretty sensitive to spices. Total was $20.28. Kind of pricey for lunch plate small app. and tea. A different experience for Port LaVaca cuisine. I would recommend if you are spice tolerant. read more

Been traveling a lot lately up this way and tried Four Seasons at the suggestion of a niece who lives in Port Lavaca. It's not well marked visually. I ordered catfish and wife ordered Beef and Broccoli. I thought mine was tasty, flaky and a good value. The crinkle fries cooked perfectly. Wife did not especially like her beef. She said it lacked flavor. I tasted a piece and thought that I'd had better as well. Thought the prices were a little high. I would come back for the fish, but I wouldn't order the beef. read more

I absolutely LOVE this restaurant. I come down to visit every once in a while and I always have to stop by. The owners are great, always friendly, the food is always freshly made (it's definitely not fast food since everything is made when you order but its not a super long wait). The best thing about this restaurant is that they serve Cambodian food, I live in Houston and cannot find a Cambodian restuarant anywhere. Definitely suggest trying the nime chow (Cambodian Spring rolls), their poo poo platter is great, their chicken wings are amazing. That's just appetizers! Top entrees are: Lo mein, beef and broccoli, all the basic chinese foods... Vietnamese bee bong Lemon chicken (the sauce is not that thick, candy like sauce you might be used to) Strange flavored chicken-the name might throw you off but there's nothing strange about it, lots of yummy veggies, chicken and this great tasting sauce. Also comes in beef and pork. Sizzling seafood, anything seafood actually pan fried noodles Any type of fried rice is awesome Lemongrass ckn/beef/pork (either way I love lemon grass) So many other dishes I can't remember the names to..... They also serve american food but with all the yummy asian choices I can't bring myself to order anything else. This is definitely the type of place that you have to stumble across or someone has to tell you about. My boyfriend and his friends made so much hype about this place and maybe that's why I'm not as impressed since I'm not from town. They made the comment also that it's in a different location- it's no longer off of Virginia St. When we went last weekend they were off of 35 & Border St in a small little strip center. We got pad thai and some egg rolls. For how much you pay, you get SO much food. And even though I didn't think they made the best Pad Thai I had ever eaten, they made GREAT egg rolls. All of it is made to order right then and there and I have to repeat, you get sooo much of it. (Pictures!) I'm not sure if they just relocated to this new location, but it didn't seem like shop was quite set up all the way. It was clean and there were no boxes, but it didn't seem all that organized. Looking around, you've got a nice TV, and again- very clean environment, just lots of stock along the walls in plain view of the customers which has always poked my OCD side. From what I've heard, this place is VERY family run, and a lot of the time the kids of the owners are there as well. This became obvious to me even though the kids weren't there since a good portion of the signage appeared to be made by a child from notebook paper and markers, and then taped up on the wall. However, instead of cute drawings it was the restaurants popular items and their prices. It's kinda cute in it's own way- I love family businesses. However, it is a business. I would probably want to invest in at least printed signage for my business just so everything was a bit more uniform. I digress- the service was good as well. The waitress and cook were polite, and as we watched people come in and out, you could tell they had a good loyal customer base. So maybe the handwritten signage is what works for them? It was ok. Ordered the 1 fish, shrimp and tails. Not bad at all but for the price could have been a bigger piece of fish (downed in two bites). Cole slaw was great. Watered down tarter sauce. Won't be a destination restaurant for me. Also they check out procedure had suggested tips with the lowest at 25%. Kinda greedy. read more

Don't even. Seriously. We ordered lunch at the office and spent about $100. No one liked their food at all and most of it was thrown away. My co-worker said her pad thai tasted like ramen with hot sauce. She was sick from it later. My general chicken was dry pieces of chicken with unappealing brown, tangy sauce thrown on top. It wasn't good sauce--just tangy. The egg rolls were a soggy mess. Only the rice and crab rangoons were good. Very disappointed and NEVER AGAIN. If anything, we want our $100 back. read more

All I can say is Wow! The food is made when you order it and is amazing! We were there on a mini vacation and read the reviews and decided to try it. I am so glad we did! The hot and sour soup was so different than the usual hot and sour I had to ask if there was a mistake before I tasted it. It was WONDERFUL! It had such depth of flavor I really want the recipe! We plan to make this a regular stop when we visit. The nime chow were huge and fresh made (at a vietnamese place, these are called Spring rolls). My husband loved his pad thai! I think the person who rated it poorly must be used to Panda Express and not genuine food. The chef (owner) came out to explain for me what the sauce was like on the cantonese noodles. Absolutely do not go here I threw the food in the garbage. The a/c vents are stained with mildew and there are small holes in the ceiling. While Che king out I heard something running around in the ceiling I asked owner (what was that) she said don't worry about it so they have a pest problem for sure! read more

So very disappointed. I was so hungry for chicken fried rice, so finally ordered it for dinner tonight...take out. What I got was a bowl of dry rice with a few pieces of chicken...no peas, no carrots, no celery, no eggs. Is it the difference between regions? Cambodia vs China? That was gross. The egg rolls (best part of the meal) were so greasy that I literally laid it on a napkin to soak up the grease and still got burnt on my lip from flying grease. The garlic sauce smelled like urine and the shrimp tasted like dirt. The crab Rangoons were out of a frozen box that I can buy at the local grocier and my husband and I now fell like getting sick even though neither of us could stomachs threw more than a few bites of the food.
