We bought a used 2014 car that didn't have a remote fob, just a regular key with chip. The Chevy dealer told us they can't help since the remote fobs are discontinued. Two local locksmiths both told us they can't guarantee their work but it would cost $75 just to try, plus the cost of the fob. So we called Batteries Plus. They also said $75 just to try, but only $10 to cut the key. We bought a remote fob on eBay for under $30, took it in to be cut for $10, and the guy programmed it for us for free (it only took 2 minutes). Absolutely nice, professional guy there and we'd definitely come here again.

I had a simple request to ask if they had any tire chains in stock and it resulted in an attitude from 2 male employees from what I assume was because they didn't want to check their inventory in the back. This review is for Joey…read more I my car died this morning. I knew it had to be the battery. I arrived at the Pacific Ave location and Joey was quick to help! He first checked my battery to see if that was even the issue, and it was dead dead! In less than 20 minutes, Joey checked my battery, found the right battery for my car, rang me up and installed it! He was friendly and informative. I asked a few questions (which I know can be annoying) but he answered with a smile and explained in a way I could understand. Such a pleasant experience. People like Joey are hard to come across nowadays. So thank you again Joey, you're superior customer service turned what was a stressful day into a much better day.
