This wasn't our first visit to this location. In the past we've come here and had speedy, courteous service. Today when my husband went in to cut and program an after market key for a vehicle we just bought, that was not the case. The woman who helped him gave him a bunch of attitude after quoting him $100 to program it on top of the $15 to cut it. We just didn't budget for it and it's a third key so it's not necessary. He had the key cut but he would have preferred not to after the way she was talking to him. I think it's important to respect the choices of your customers. We probably would have gone back there to get it programmed but, I'm looking around now. Wouldn't even mind paying more, once we're ready. Do better. read more

They ALWAYS have what I am looking for - batteries and blubs. The staff is super friendly and knows where everything is in the store. Just walk in and literally say - I need this - voila there it is. I've even come in without the battery and sometimes if I tell them what it's for they know what size I need. read more

Customer service 5.0 When you're in need for a battery replacement this should be your 1st and only stop! I needed to replace the back up battery on my house alarm. Walked in showed the representative the battery and walked out with a new replacement. Funny thing: I hooked up the battery and my alarm didn't register there was a battery, so I waited to see it would register...nothing . So back I went to the store to see if I got my original battery back by accident. Other rep tested the battery I brought back in, then pulled and tested my old battery from the back to ensure that they indeed issued a new battery. Yup they sold me a new battery, but the sales rep pulled another new battery from the shelf and said hopefully this one will work for you. After hooking up again a new battery this one registered after half an hour. Bottom line is that they never questioned if I was wrong and focused on a solution for my needs! I recommend Batteries Plus for any battery replacement. **BTW I have had two watch batteries replaced here that have lifetime replacement. read more

Had to have a phone screen repaired and my phone insurance, had me come here for the repair. I thought that was interesting, as I didn't know Batteries Plus also fixed phones...good to know for the future. I arrived and turned the phone in to the rep at the counter, and was told it would take about 2 hours to fix. It took maybe a little more than an hour. On top of assorted device batteries like AAA-D, they surprisingly also have wheel chair and car batteries in stock. They also have a whole section of various type of LED lights. NOW the name Batteries "Plus" makes a lot more sense, lol. Overall: Good customer service and quick fix of my damaged phone screen. read more

I show up and he is very diligent and also gave me tips to extend my battery life next time. Stopped in on 6/6/25 at 6:00 PM to buy a small lawn mower battery. Despite standing there for five minutes, neither of the two employees acknowledged me--or the elderly customer who was already waiting. One was working on a watch, the other on a phone, and neither could take a moment to greet us. I walked out and went to AutoZone in Elk Grove instead, where I had a great experience. My car battery was in need of a replacement, as the battery terminals were extremely corroded. I called several different car places on a Sunday afternoon; however, most places were closed or not taking any more customers for the day. I found this place on line, called, told them my issue, and they told me to bring the car over for replacement. The employees took care of the corrosion, installed the battery, and got me on my way in a very timely manor. Batteries Plus carries a plethora of batteries for nearly any and everything you can imagine. If they don't carry it in store, they can oftentimes order it. Parking is typically pretty easy to find in their lot. They also fix cell phones, change watch and key fob batteries, and program key fobs. Their pricing is typically fair, but their customer service is typically subpar at best. My car battery died, and I had to wait overnight for them to attempt to charge it as I'd already unsuccessfully attempted to do. That's obviously not convenient when you have places to go and a warranty that you'd think would be more consumer friendly. Low and behold, the battery was bad, so they exchanged it. If you look on their website and sign up for their offers, you can oftentimes save 15% or slightly more with online orders to pick up in store. That's a great way to save on those hefty purchases. read more

Rude customer service by the register guy today. I came in, he asked if I wanted help. I told him I needed a battery for my key fob. He said I can take your key and change it for you. That's not what I asked for but hey thanks anyway. He changes the battery in my key fob and proceeds to say the total was $18!! I asked if the battery was $18 and he said no it's about $7 for the battery and the rest was for him changing it. He should've disclosed that info before offering to change it. I told him when I walked in I specifically just needed the battery. He said he could take new battery out and just charge me for the battery. No sorry I didn't disclose there would be an extra fee for changing it. Again I didn't ask for this, he offered. Stop trying to swindle more money out of customers! He then said there's a 2 pack that is $10. I went to the aisle for those specific batteries and asked him which one was it. He yelled out 2025. I'm looking and searching and it's taking me a while, maybe 1 minute or so... and he walked from behind the cash register over to where we were and just grabs the battery from the aisle, says nothing and proceeds to the register to ring it up. At that point I didn't even want to buy anything from that establishment because the way he was handling it. It was odd and weird. I could tell he was irritated but I'm sorry don't assume and charge people for extra for things they didn't ask for and when they speak up about it, you get upset. My mechanic charges me maybe $5 to do the same thing. I bought the 2 pack of batteries. I'll change it myself. I will not be back. Please hire workers with better attitudes! read more

When my car remote battery was running low, the gentleman working that day let me know they offer a lifetime car remote battery service for I believe I paid $25. I wanted a high CCA battery for my 2018 Jeep. I shopped extensively and found a battery with the highest CCA (800) at Batteries Plus. The price was also in the lower end of the range. The battery worked great for a year and then wouldn't charge. I had them test it and they found it bad. Because of bulged sides it is assumed the battery experienced overcharging. This could have been the fault of my charging system or my battery charger. Despite this I was handed a new battery at no charge. They had lots of great information on battery maintenance, charging, and types of batteries. Thanks guys! Great service. read more

Hello, I have a Galaxy Note 5 in a very good condition. After 4 years of use, it was time for a new battery, i took my phone to this Batteries & Bulbs place. -- 1 hour later -- The back glass cover was damaged as shown in the picture, which I later discovered. Do I really care about the damage? Maybe just a little. I always carry my phone in a wallet case, so I care less. However, the fact that they did not inform me about the damage is really unprofessional/disappointing. They certainly knew about the damage since it is literally impossible not seeing it under very bright lights. If they had informed me about the demage, I would have just let it go & rated 4 or 5 stars for the service. Please be transparent with your customers. I've been here about three times to get battery replacements for our iPhones. I just recently went because I wanted a battery before I left for my trip. The old one was draining too fast. I schedule the appointment online which is pretty straightforward and easy plus you get a $10 off coupon for doing so. Once you get there, they'll look you up and grab the new battery and give you a receipt. I believe they should probably put on the website that you have to wait at least an hour after you arrive for the appointment. Basically you need to drop off the phone while they do the replacement. You could go shop at Sprouts or grab something to eat nearby. The customer service isn't that greatest. The guy didn't seem like he wanted to be there. Make sure you have a car charger or have access to charge your phone after receiving the battery because it's not at 100%. They gave me my phone back at 48%. Unfortunately, the new battery didn't fix my battery drainage issue. The phone still isn't holding a charge. read more

I brought my phone in for screen repair since the glass got cracked on the bottom left the evening before. Despite their initial estimate of an hour, I had to come back several times that day and was put off each time and told to come back later. I finally came back about 30 mins to closing and the truth was revealed: the guy repairing my phone had broken 3 new screens during the attempted repair and was continuing to struggle to get the new screen to install correctly. They said they could try again the next day but I was leaving town the next morning and needed my phone to work. They handed me my phone, the screen was clearly not seated correctly and there was now a small crack and "blob" in the upper right corner of the new screen, but he said it was the best he could do, and that at least the phone worked... or so he told me. I eventually discovered that the face ID no longer worked on the phone--it worked perfectly before they got a hold of it. Luckily I was not charged for the "repair". As soon as I returned from my trip, I brought the phone to another repair store here in EG (did not have confidence in Batteries Plus), and it was fixed within 20 minutes. The tech at the new place showed me how the Face ID sensor had gotten bent upwards (by the other technician) and that's why FaceID didn't work and also why the new screen wouldn't install correctly for the Batteries Plus tech. Not only that, but the other place was $25 less than Batteries Plus wanted to charge me. While I appreciated the tenacity of the tech at BP, he was clearly in over his head. I also didn't appreciate him trying to make me feel bad for the trouble he was having with the repair, or for being told that the delay was because they were "busy" when, in actuality, it was because they were having trouble with the repair. This used to be our go-to phone repair place, but never again. read more
