When Lisa returned my voicemail she was friendly, asked good questions about the problem, etc. After showing Pett the issue he first checked the filter and was surprised to find it totally clean. What impressed this non-mechanical guy was that he explained everything he was doing as he checked this and that. Long story short, after running the machine through a quick cycle he figured out that it was a touch-pad issue. Somehow the "no spin" button & light were turned off. John from JR Appliance Installation installed our wall oven about a month ago and he did a fabulous…read morejob. John took care to installed the oven perfectly in the existing cabinet and hauled away the old oven. He cleaned up after the installation and left the working area as before. A month later a black trim piece broke loose from the left side of the microwave opening. I asked the manufacturer and they gave me the vague answer on whether the piece will be fixed under warranty -- it all depends on how the technician sees it. If he thinks it is non-functional piece then it will not be covered under warranty, and I will be on hook for the charge. I decided to call John and he graciously fixed it for free! In the corporate landscape where they will try to charge you for every small little thing, we are lucky to have John who went beyond his responsibility and helped us out. We could not be happier with his service and very grateful for his kindness to go out of his way and made a follow-up trip to fix our oven. And sure enough, after he left, I called the manufacturer and they said the piece is not under warranty and they will charge me for the fix. We count our blessing to have John for our oven installation. Could not have met a better person. Thanks John!

The repair cost was a little higher than I had initially hoped, but once the technician arrived and explained everything, it made complete sense. He explained that, as an authorized Samsung repair company, they have to pay licensing fees to Samsung and continuously stay up to date on Samsung's ever-changing technology and repair procedures. That level of specialized training is something many other repair companies don't invest in. In fact, before finding them, I contacted several appliance repair companies, and every one of them told me they worked on every brand except Samsung. That alone speaks volumes about the expertise this company offers. Not only did they repair my Samsung refrigerator's ice maker, but they also fixed my Samsung dryer, which had stopped drying properly. The technician went above and beyond by explaining everything in detail, answering all of my questions, and making sure I understood the repairs. Everyone I dealt with was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional from start to finish. I'm incredibly grateful to have both my refrigerator and dryer working again. Replaced our "craft" ice maker, showed us how to turn it on & off and explained the trouble we were having and set clear expectations moving forward. ABSOLUTELY SENSATIONAL. FIRST AMERICAN WARRANTY....NOT SO MUCH. initially they assigned us another appliance repair company (their name escapes me at this time) and when I did just 20 min of research found out on the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAUs website that they were "COMPLETELY ROTTEN". Those were the exact words they used in describing that company. I had to DEMAND to speak with a manager before FAW assigned me someone else. Peter from Appliance Worx arrived, listened to us, diagnosed the problem and amazingly had the replacement "CRAFT ICE MAKER" on his truck. Replaced it.....and the whole visit took maybe 40 min. Moral of the story/review.....Appliance Worx is great. Dont let your home warranty ppl give you "crappy" service ppl.
