We shopped a couple places, but when we saw a reclaimed oak floor sample in JD's shop, we were hooked. He referred us to a local place that has had it in their gallery for years - high traffic, right off the street, and it looked amazing there too. We decided to replace the carpet and tile in our entire downstairs (1300sf). This meant demolishing tile in the kitchen, plus ripping out carpet in all the other rooms. We also planned a kitchen remodel for the summer (its all gone pretty well and we're still happily married). JD worked with us on scheduling around the kitchen demolition, cabinet install and we planned a little vacation when he was going to be making a lot of saw dust in the house.
