We were surprised and disappointed when we returned to our home after the installation to find that they had stripped all the bedding (including bedskirts that were attached by velcro to the box springs) and stuffed it in corners or in a bathtub. Additionally they left a mess in the rooms where the carpet was installed as well as in other areas of the house. When we asked the owner, Rick, about the mess and the disregard for our belongings he responded that they weren't housekeepers. We have had carpet installed several times before and each time the installers cleaned up the mess they made and left our beds intact. While the carpet appears to have been installed well, I would not recommend this business and would not use them again.

We shopped a couple places, but when we saw a reclaimed oak floor sample in JD's shop, we were hooked. He referred us to a local place that has had it in their gallery for years - high traffic, right off the street, and it looked amazing there too. We decided to replace the carpet and tile in our entire downstairs (1300sf). This meant demolishing tile in the kitchen, plus ripping out carpet in all the other rooms. We also planned a kitchen remodel for the summer (its all gone pretty well and we're still happily married). JD worked with us on scheduling around the kitchen demolition, cabinet install and we planned a little vacation when he was going to be making a lot of saw dust in the house. Meanwhile we had cabinetry redone for $15k+ in our living room in the same 'specialty' stain we were supposed to have on the floors.
