Ordered get well soon flowers for my coworkers wife at 11pm Monday. The flower shop was closed at the time so all was done online. It just occurred to me that I did not write a review for Nora Anne's...from 9 months ago. They did such an INCREDIBLE job that I'm coming back to review them now without any prompting or request on their part! I needed to order flowers for a joint birthday and Mother's Day gift. Since I live in Dallas and am not familiar with the Sugar Land area, I turned to Google to find a local florist. After calling a few places and being "greeted" by grouchy, unexcited employees, I was feeling desperate and frustrated. When I called Nora Anne's, they answered with cheer and could not have been more happy to help me. I got the feeling that they took a special liking to me and my situation because they were being so kind. But I honestly think they treat every customer that way! I despise the online ordering concept of "choose this bouquet and we'll create an exact match", because it DOESN'T. It NEVER measures up and every customer feels duped. So, I just gave the florist my price point, requested a few specific flowers, color and texture, and let them have their floral liberty. When I tell you they KNOCKED IT OUT OF THE PARK, they killed it!!!!!!!! After they had been delivered, my mother-in-law called gushing over how incredibly gorgeous the flowers were and immediately sent photos. It was SO BEAUTIFUL that I did something non-typical of me and called Nora Anne's to tell them a huge THANK YOU!!! I couldn't believe what high-end arrangement I got for the price point I gave them. Further, my mother-in-law was leaving town a few days after she received the bouquet. So, she took the flowers with her. That gorgeous bouquet lasted almost two weeks on the road!!! Nora Anne did the bouquet for my bridal portraits at the last minute and I wasn't blown away by the final product, but it got the job done. I later called on Nora Anne for business and found out that when she didn't stand to directly benefit from our interaction, she blew me off & gave me the complete run around. As a professional, I would have much rather Nora Anne just tell me the truth than waste my time by asking me to come back several times when she had no intention of doing business with me and already had something in the works with a competitive business, like she did. Nora and the team did a wonderful job for our wedding day, we're so glad to have found them! We were always cheerfully greeted upon entering the store. Nora helped us with the consultation, patiently walking us through different elements of typical wedding decor. On wedding day, her team promptly arrived at the scheduled time to setup at the church, while we arrived 30+ minutes after the scheduled time, where it looked like they had already finished all setup and were just waiting for us to give them approval of a completed task. I needed two flower bouquets for my daughters' ballet recitals that evening. I walked into the store and the ladies were very friendly. I had no idea what to get, so one of them asked who the flowers were for, and for what occasion. She picked out some nice big roses, trimmed the stems, and arranged them with foliage, baby's breath, bows, and water tubes.
