I ordered a pad thai with pork belly and what I got was uncooked pork belly (see pics) that not only was dangerous (uncooked pork carries bacteria), but also a waste, since it had to be thrown out. The mushrooms were chewy and well cooked. The rad nah was rich and savory, but well balanced. Okay I loved everything about Nora except for 1 thing! Since there's only one con I will start with that. When I went, the restaurant was out of the cocktail, Purple G & T. Just read how amazing this drink sounds: Empress 1908 Indigo Gin, St. Germain, Juniper Berries, Orange & Lavender Bitters If you know me you know I love lavender everything so I was a little salty that I could order this drink plus it was one of the cheapest in the menu, only $12! Okay besides that little disappointment everything was absolutely fantastic! The food felt like it took only seconds to make which was great because we weee hungry. We got an appetizer the Gozya which were cooked perfectly, you only get 5 though so I feel like it's more of a personal appetizer rather than one to share. I got the Green Curry and my friend got the Pad Thai. I like that you can choose your protein with no up charge and they have a ton of vegan versions of all the dishes. I chose pork with my green curry and I'm still dreaming about this meal it was so incredibly delicious. The ambience is very nice. The neighborhood is full of tiny restaurants with long wait times so it was refreshing to stop by here and get seated right away in a spacious place with cool interior deco. The decor is very pretty it has a romantic vibe with its dim interior. First of all their menu is quite frankly very easy to follow as it has pictures of all the food items. Literally you get what you see in the pictures. Portions are great for the price and taste was authentic. I love Thai food and this place didn't disappoint me at all. Also we ordered a brownie with Thai tea ice cream (forgot to take a picture more like I was lazy lol) but really good. I've visited this location twice already and find it absolutely beautiful! The two times I've visited it wasn't very busy, just a few people seated and at the bar. It's definitely a great place for a birthday or event dinner. I opt for drinks here during their happy hour special which offers Lychee trini or a Mango Mojito for only $7. The lunch menu has very great offers as well from $10-$15 dollar meals. The food is well plated and the staff is very attentive. All of the dishes were really good but my personal favorite was the chicken satay. The chicken was juicy and it comes with two sauces - a peanut based sauce and a vinegar based sauce. My Khao Kha Moo was also good and was a good portion size for the price. We also ordered drinks that were a little slow to come out. I got the purple g&t and it was pretty gin forward! I would come back here with friends or even on a date. The tables are pretty close together though which may not be ideal for some couples.
