I can't say enough good things about this place. They were able to take my 5-year-old on short notice, and Dr. Adam and his team provided exceptional care from start to finish. My daughter has been very apprehensive about dental work due to prior traumatic experiences with another pediatric dentist, but the atmosphere here is so kid-friendly and welcoming that she felt more at ease right away. The team's playful demeanor, along with their patience and understanding of her anxiety, made this visit far more comfortable than anything we've experienced before. SOOO grateful for Dr. Adam and NorCal Pediatric Dentistry! We recently learned that my son (who is anxious about the dentist due to former experiences and has sensory issues) needed to have 4 baby teeth pulled sooner rather than later. We were able to get in for a preliminary exam and treatment within a week. He was so great with helping me to prepare my son for the appointment and what to say to him ahead of time. His calm and soothing demeanor during the appointment kept my son (and me) at ease. He even remembered the names of my son's stuffed animals that joined him during the exam and treatment appointments. While there, I observed him blowing bubbles for a 1 year old's first dental appointment to get the kiddo to smile and have fun. I feel very lucky we found Dr. Adam and 100% certain that making the switch to NorCal Pediatric Dentistry was the right move. My daughter loves going to the dentist thanks to Dr. Adam and his wonderful office. The staff is great and there's a fun environment that makes dental visits a happy experience. Dr. Adam is the kindest and most generous Dentist we have ever met! We were on vacation and our 4 year old had a dental emergency. We called 20-30 dental offices and no one could help us. When we got in touch with Dr. Adam and his team, they were so happy to offer their services and made time to see our son right away. Dr. Adam was so amazing with our 4 year old! He made him feel so comfortable and extracted an infected tooth without our 4 year old even feeling any pain! Love NorCal Pediatric dentistry! My sons have been going here since starting their whole dental routine. All of their visits have been great! Dr. Adam, who recently took over is awesome!!! My youngest is 10 and recently chipped his tooth at school. I called the dentist office and Dr. Adam called me with in 15 minutes and asked me to text him pictures of his chipped tooth. We decided it wasn't urgent and were able to get an appt for the next day to fix his chipped tooth. It looks great! Staff is always awesome & friendly also! Dr. Adam is awesome . My lil one had a great and magical experience. Dr. Adam made sure he connected with my lil one by interacting with her while playing with bubbles. Once she was comfortable enough he proceeded to get her check up done, Dr. Adam began. My daughter was very comfortable and at ease and allowed him to check and brush her teeth without no issues. I took both my kids to NorCal Pediatric Dentisty for their first dental check ups on the reccomendation of their pediatrician and we were not disappointed. My oldest gets very nervous going to see doctors and he hasn't stopped asking when we get to go back to the dentist since we left! Dr. Frank was very kind, gentle and fun with the kids and he was very clear and compassionate when talking with me and my husband. The technicians were all very kind and friendly as well. Overall we had a great first visit and would highly reccomend this practice! I called in to see if my children could become NEW patients. While giving the front desk my information , one of the questions were "When were they last seen?" (they were seen 5 months prior give or take) but the 'lovely' receptionist refused to have them seen until 6 months went by. It wasn't like I was asking to be seen this AFTERNOON . Dr. Willett is amazing. She has kids so her advice is practical and aligns with her experience as a pediatric dentist. The office is very kid friendly, fun and clean. She had many parenting tips for us as well that were greatly appreciated outside of dental care. My daughter is 19 months and Dr. Willett spent a lot of time helping her warm up by examining a stuffed pumpkins teeth and allowing my daughter to do the same. She was very warm and friendly. I'm amazed how much time she spent with us. We did not feel rushed at all. I highly recommend her if you are looking for a pediatric dentist. read more

My 4 year olds have been in several times. My son did not want anyone to even look in his mouth the firs time we went in but everyone was very patient and understanding. They let me hold him for his cleaning and exam. The second time, they were able to work him through his worries and he had a full exam laying in the chair. My kids think the dentist is fun now. read more

NorCal Pediatric Dentistry - Dr. Hodges told me that my 11 year old son had an internal cavity on his back molar. We made an appointment to take care of the cavity 1/24/23. My son didn't want gas for the filling, he only wanted Novocaine. Apparently that is not an option at this office. They require all children to have gas. Dr. Hodges made my son practice using a mask in the office & she brought me back & told me my son had dental anxiety & she told me she could tell I had dental anxiety as well, which I'm not sure why she assumed that. I asked if I could be in the back with him for the procedure to help reassure him everything was okay but she said parents were not allowed in the room, which I found odd. Apparently while he was in the back, she took it upon herself to do new x-rays, a cleaning & sealant (which I did not authorize). When my son was done, we went to the receptionist counter, she asked when we would like to reschedule for the cavity filling & I told her we would not be back due to the way we were treated by Dr. Hodges & the things she said to me & my son. Come to find out, they also did not take my insurance anymore, which they did not inform me prior to us going in that day, (even though I filled out the insurance form prior to my son going in) they sent me a bill on 2/09/23 for $334.00. While trying to figure out my insurance, they then sent me another bill with a finance change of $93.52 & a re-billing fee of $25.00 totaling in $452.52. All charges in services which I never approved. When I found a new dentist in my network for my son, we had another set of x-rays taken, which were a lot more clear, those x-rays showed no signs of an internal cavity. I showed the other set of x-rays to the new dentist & he did not see any sign of a cavity in the original x-rays done by Dr. Hodges either. My question is, what would Dr. Hodges have done if she had drilled into my sons tooth & found no sign of a cavity? And how many children is she doing this to? read more

We waited 40 minutes past our appointment slot while my two-year-old had a meltdown. The staff was cold rude and unhelpful. I thought this was supposed to be a pediatric office who specializes in servicing kids. They completely ignored my child when we first came in and did not offer any reassurance when they saw him having a meltdown. They acted like they were so annoyed and irritated that we were there, even though they should be used to kids acting like kids. It became so uncomfortable that I just ended up leaving. But not before the receptionist came back up to me to let me know I had signed in the wrong place I needed to refill out the entire packet of paperwork. When they can see clearly my child having a hard time, and they took 40 minutes to look at my paperwork. Complete BS. read more

They said my child has 4 cavities and needed to get 8 fillings because they would "probably" turn in to cavities. They quoted me over THREE THOUSAND dollars in charges. I took her for a second opinion, they said she only had very small start of cavities which needed a treatment of silver diamond fluoride. The new dentist said if it was his child he definitely wouldn't drill any holes because her teeth didn't need it. So they were going to drill 8 holes in my babies mouth for no reason. I wouldn't take your kids here unless you want a very high bill and a bunch of unnecessary pain and suffering and dental damage for your child. This is an unethical business preying on small children for profit. read more

Amazing staff who were so helpful and took amazing care of my son after an unexpected dental emergency

We were referred here to address my daughter's dental needs. She has multiple cavities, which is totally my fault.. ok I get it. I was told she would need to be put under to have all the work done at once, because she is just 3 years old. This was shocking and hard to swallow. Anyhow, we proceeded in get her appts in line to receive dental treatment. Come to find out that she needs to be evaluated by an ear nose and throat doctor, prior to being put under. This could take months. I was advised by the surgery center to call the dentist back to see if they could at least attempt to address the tooth that is causing her the most pain. I was told there was nothing they can do for her because of her age. And then receptionist asked "did you EVEN call to get the ball rolling on these appointments?" Of course I have, and they told me to call you! And "well these cavities didn't just get there over night, they've been there awhile." I realize they have been there a while and now they are hurting her, so is there ANYTHING else we can do to help her? What did they do 20-30 years ago when put them to sleep wasn't an option? I said I'd like my x-rays so I can find someone that will help us. Her response ... You don't have to go somewhere else what can I do to help you? You can bring her in for ANOTHER consultation and we can see if there is something we can do ... Really ... Why do I have to have 2 consultations? I paid out of pocket $175 to get a better opinion, and once the dentist found out we had partnership, she basically rushed us out the door. She didn't even give my daughter the sticker she promised her. I don't like it when people imply that I'm ignorant. Their receptionist is rude and needs to learn how to talk to people. I don't recommend going here unless you have really good dental insurance, because if they think you're poor they treat you like shit. read more
