After many unsuccessful attempts to make him show up and work, we asked him to refund us. He immediately found a lawyer who presented us with a $33k bill with bogus items like "work" and "material", while rejecting any requests for receipts or accounting, and started harassing us with "defamation" threats if we speak out. Deven Parmley avoided replying to our questions in text so that he could claim that he didn't commit to anything. Once we pointed out the damage to the house, he immediately cancelled the bond and you are welcome to look up his public records to see how many times he has done this before.
