I got nice greeting and friendly. Second time i came to store i wore my cheap blouse and short ( nothing fancy) and yes i'm Asian but they still treat me very nice and helpful (so they are not racist) that day i came back home with very pretty dress , pants and blouses. Third time i found things i like but i need some advice to decide and the sales named Kelsey she help me even though she was busy with training new employee. I took her advice and i really love what i bought that day. :) Their clothes are not cheap but u get what you paid. What i like about this place are 1.they carry XS size for small person like me 2.they have some good quality local brand which is not too expensive and unique. 3.premium denim wear 4.there are many style in this place. This boutique has been in business for 12 years if they really have very bad service or racist i don't think they can survive in Davis because people can drive to Nordstrom in SAC or go to SF to find a lot of nice boutique there. Last, i have nothing involved to this place so these are all my real experience and i get nothing from this review. I'm so sad to write this review because I LOVE this store, but I had a bad experience a few months…read moreago. I was trying on shoes, and I told the salesperson that I wear a wide. I showed her the shoes I liked and tried them on. At the time, they felt fine, but I've tried to wear them and they're way too narrow for my Fred Flintstone feet. I went and got them widened, and I've been wearing them around the house with thick socks on, but they're still too narrow and hurting one foot (the bigger one). This bums me out because the shoes weren't cheap and I don't live in the area - so now I'm stuck with shoes that don't fit because the salesperson who's an expert in this area sold me shoes that really weren't the right size. I'd been to Sole Desire before and worked with another salesperson who was AWESOME and near exactly what I needed. When I'm there, I always splurge and buy a couple pair because this store is so good and the service is usually top notch, but I feel like that last visit was a major exception to the rule and that the salesperson was about the SALE and not the service. Now I'm stuck with a pair super cute and expensive shoes that don't work for my fat feet. Wah.
