If I could I would give this Nordstrom Rack 0 stars. Worst service I have ever received. I was on hold for 30 minutes and I was redirected multiple times. The man on the phone was absolutely zero help and was extremely lazy. When asked if he could go check for something he said he couldn't and put no effort into it. For being a salesmen he clearly does not care about commission. Maybe I was just working with someone who was lazy and incompetent but this Nordstrom rack will never get my service again. read more

Plenty of parking in a private lot. (Be warned that I have run into numerous people that cannot park with a crap for whatever reason, even when I park at the back of the lot where there are other spaces, people decide to block one of my doors! Unreal.) Anyway, the store is organized, plenty of staff around to help. Dressing rooms were well staffed during my visit. The check out line is usually very long, sometimes they have the 'express' desks open. read more

I bought the best fitting pants I've ever owned in my life here. And if that wasn't good enough they are purple. Purple! I also bought sweet jammies and shoes for Little Man N, a large sized suitcase for family travel, and a lovely leather laptop case for Sir Nicholas among other random clothes items for the whole family. Nordstrom Rack is a lot like expensive thrift store shopping to me. You gotta take the time and commit to being there a while to look through all the racks and try on all the clothes, but the payoff will be big. Big like a pair of jeans that retails for over $100 and cost 70% less and fit you perfectly and are purple. I also think that their sales associates are the nicest. And I love how anyone, anywhere can check you out if you are paying with a debit/credit card. They have these mobile apps kind of like Square that allow them to do so and I find it genius. Great location, great prices, great names - sounds like an advertisement. I don't know if you could pay me enough to stay away. It is like an outlet mall, but not so far to drive. I have gotten Gucci sunglasses for less than one third the retail price. This is a great location for accesories and shoes! I just got running shoes for $19. IN-sane. I find dresses all the time whose price matches H&M, but American designers. It's a great place to save money if you need to shop, and sometimes, everyone needs to shop. read more

I like Nordstrom Rack, and this one is probably the most tidy store I've visited. The shoe department is great, I found a pair of lucky brand booties (my favorite) for $36 marked down from $140. They're black leather and are so cute, I almost bought them at Macy's for full price a couple months ago. Great selection of men's daily wear and women's workwear, I also love the jewelry area. Handbags are abundant and deeply discounted from what I could tell, though I didn't purchase one on my recent visit. May get the charge card because I keep hearing how wonderful the perks are. I will continue to shop here, great big parking lot and I appreciate how nicely managed this store is. read more

In a few weeks, I have two job interviews with the same company in one weekend. Usually, I would wear a traditional blue suit and call it a day. However, variety is the spice of life - especially when interviewing twice. In a normal interview, I wear a very nice blue pinstripe suit with a nice shirt and tie. However, one suit will not do the trick. Thus, I needed to purchase two additional suits for this interview process. Consider it an investment - the nicer the suit, the higher the ROI. Anyway, I went to Hugo Boss in the Cherry Creek Mall. They have very nice suits, but I wanted to keep under budget as I needed to purchase two instead of one. With that being said, I came to this "Rack" - more like grandfathers closet, to look for a suit. Awful. Warning sign one..they do not have complete suits to purchase. This is a big no no. If you are forced to select slacks with a jacket, often time the dyes in the suit won't match. Even if they do look similar, you wash it once, and you are screwed. Employers notice that kind of thing. The other problem was price. $400 for nicer jackets. This is insane and very close to full price. Considering most stores in the mall offer coupons and good sales, the price was outrageous. Rack also raised the MSRP on some pieces. In fact, I priced some a Kenneth Cole slack and jacket and the price was the same price it was at Nordstrom. Besides the first two things, the suits are very dated looking. They have nothing fitted looking or modern. The shirts are all basic shirts from Bob Sherman like my grandfather used to wear, nothing with French Cuffs or different colored colors (I asked). The tie selection was okay. In an interview, you should wear a 100% silk tie and they had maybe ten of those. Other problem..Rack does not provide alterations on the suit you purchase. Nothing really fits right out of the store; however, in addition to overinflated prices, you need to pay money to alter the suit elsewhere. If you want to Dress to impress, don't come here. This place is good for women stuff as they offer a larger selection for women, but professional attire for males sucks. read more

Every guy likes a nice rack, and I am no exception. If you meet me, you'll wonder to yourself (and possibly aloud) "How are you so fly Tres? You always dress in $200 shirts. And you look so young for your age. And oh, those pouty lips..."" My secret? I bathe in confectionery sugar and Nordstrom's Rack. THE STAFF: Very helpful and friendly with a dash of upper-end retail snoot. They go out of your way to help, particularly at the dressing room, where they oblige and smile and gush over your more flattering selections. Check-out can be busy, but always speedy. THE MERCH: Its top brands and astonishingly low prices. My recent trip to the Caribbean was enhanced by two Tommy Bahama shirts originally priced at $150. I scored at $40. Great shoe department and I am challenged, because I wear size 13. And you know what they say about big feet? Big feet, Big Heart. They always have a "wide" selection. MISCELLANY: This is a great place to get a gift for people you want to impress, because you can get high end brand names for bupkiss. Get that person in your office that you marginally know a fru fru candle with a Nordstrom box and suddenly they are no longer stealing your lunch from the break room fridge. I want to like this store because I love Nordstrom's but every time I come to this store there is a LONG wait to check out, I have never gotten through a line there in less than 10-15 min. It stops me from going to the store more. I tried to return an item I purchased online and they would not give me a full refund because "since the reason for the return (did not like the fit) was not the companies fault I was not granted a full refund. That was the correct size that I paid to be shipped" seems like terrible customer service that is someone does not fit right or look good I don't get my full money back. My heart pitter patters as I dream now of Nordstrom Rack on Colorado Boulevard. Large on the inside with a large woman's shoe section in the back, dare I say I even found a handful of wide shoes that I require thanks to genetics received from my Dad. If I was a little looser with my wallet I would've bought 5 pairs. The woman's clothing section is my world and a whole new wardrobe. I love this season when sweater dresses are in, I found so many that looked great and that would be great additions to my color coded closet (CCC for short). I would gladly come here every day and keep adding to my wardrobe. If I did that I would end up on that crazy show for Shopping Addicts, and I'd prefer to stay off of the TV as best I can. I'll have to withstand the urge and pace my visits, it's going to be hard. You'll probably see me check in here in less than 7 days for another visit it was so impressive. read more

For men's stuff, if you're looking to pick up a new shirt for a party or a night out on the town, this is place to go. They have fantastic deals on a ton of stuff and they have a pretty darn good men's selection. This is the TJ Maxx of clothes I'd actually want to wear out in public. They also have a great selection of undershirts and underwear at great deals from 2xist, Adidas, Calvin Klein, & more, but be warned, if you're a medium, their supply sometimes runs short since it's a popular size. Be sure to sign up for their debit card, essentially you use this when you go in and money is debited out of the bank account you specify. By doing this you get points and "notes" that can be used as cash in store. I maybe spent $150-200 last year and I got back a $20 note. read more

Good selection of exercise clothing and shoes, but it's hard to find stuff in this kind of environment. Every now and again, i locate something that's a great deal, like the Tory Burch shoes I found for under $150, making the time spent there worthwhile. But mostly..I leave wishing I'd just gone to Nordstrom in Cherry Creek. TIP: DO NOT go on the weekends. The parking lot is a nightmare and the people in search of good deals are ruthless and will take a parking space from a handicap individual if it will get them inside faster. Pretty awful. On the flip side..the people that work there are very good at their jobs, friendly, and mostly helpful. I like them and shop there knowing if I do get home and realize I made a fashion error in judgement, I can easily return the item the next day, totally hassle free. read more

Worst customer service ever! I bought several pairs of jeans from HauteLook but it didn't fit so I went to Rack to return. The lady was not nice to begin with. I greeted her without her greeting me back. I explained to her I needed to do a return and I organized the jeans for her so it would be easier to identify. She decided to mix it up which was fine with me if that is how she would like to proceed. She had difficulty performing the return because she constantly fumbled through the few pairs of jeans, turned her head with disapproval, and redid it a few times. After what should of taken a max of 5-10 minutes, I was there for 20 minutes by point. During the process, I tried to help her locate whichever pair of jeans she needed. She was very rude and said to me " it would be a lot quicker if you didn't have a million pair of jeans" and start muttering something else under her breath. By this time I have had enough of her. I asked for a manager and she ignored my request and complained under her breath. After insisting a few times she finally got a manager and she walked off heated. the manager apologized and got my returns down within minutes. read more

I love a place where you can shop and everything is on sale! Plus, Nordstrom Rack recently had a 50% off coupon on Living Social or Groupon or one of those sites, which makes it even easier to shop there for less! I can always find my favorite premium denim jeans at Nordstrom Rack for half the price that they are at the mall. The only problem is that sometimes they don't have the best size selection (lots of teeny tiny sizes and larger sizes). They also have a great selection of other designers I love (BCBG, Michael Kors, etc). Since this store's location is relatively new, the store is in good shape. It definitely helps to go shopping somewhere that is well organized. I try to avoid stores like this on the weekends though, because they are usually too crowded and messy, which makes shopping much less enjoyable. read more

If I wanted to shop at Ross, I'd go to Ross. No joke, this is the worst Rack I have ever been to. The clothes are strewn about haphazardly, shoes littering the floor, and abandoned half-filled carts clog the narrow walkways. The sheer disorganization of this place is enough to send a normal person into a tailspin. My favorite location! The service is always great and they always have great sales, even lower than the already marked down tags! I found a cute Lucky brand flats for under 20 bucks, which is normally $65.00, SCORED! They also carry Free People with amazing selections and they have tons of clearance rack! The smells, the shoes, the selection, the clothing, the dazzling girls and merchandise make this place amazingly fun and satisfying to come back again and again! I saw everything around in Nordstrom from cosmetics to $700 (that's the least expensive pricing on shoes) to some beautiful women working in the counter to apply makeup on their clients. They had wonderful attire and the perfume selection was marvelous!! I ended up purchasing a $100 perfume from French style in pink bottle Chanel perfume in oval shape. The ladies were absolutely wonderful and bagged the bottle for me in a cute small and grey bag. My shopping experience was awesome and hopefully I'll come again. read more

I love this place. The entire store is like a giant clearance rack PLUS there are even ACTUAL clearance racks inside! (Clearance clearance.. Über clearance!) The selection here is pretty decent! Obviously a little limited and some items are difficult to find in certain sizes. They carry the same stuff as the regular Nordstroms does: clothes, accessories, purses, shoes, perfume, sunglasses, etc. All the good brands have made their way to the rack: Free People, Joe's Jeans, 7FAM, BCBG, Lucky Brand, Juicy Couture, Betsey Johnson, Vera Wang, plus tons more. Definitely a great place. Make it a stop on your next shopping trip! read more

What's not to love about the rack? I've already expressed my love for their bigger store but the rack is truly the best. They've got a ton of options, with so many awesome labels for everyone, not just for women! When they have a clearance sale to move clothes from the previous season it is the absolute best, especially if you get there right when it's starting. Think designer jeans for a steal along with so much more. The customer service here is just like Nordstrom. They are kind, helpful and make sure you've got what you need. I especially like that now when there is an obscene line to stand in to check out you can find one of their employees and check out on the side if you're using a card. Total win. While you do need to be able to spend some time here browsing and sifting through all their inventory it is well worth it. I scored an incredible pair of Frye boots for under $200 that my sister had paid full price for six months before. Not to mention all of my jeans come from here these days. I'm addicted to buying underthings here. They have the cutest bras at awesome prices--I can usually find a few at around $10-$15 each. And the inventory switches up pretty frequently. This is of course one of those places where you have to be willing to look through tons and tons of stuff to find stuff you love, so I end up being there forever when I go. The dressing room is a madhouse sometimes (and the employees seem rushed/annoyed sometimes) which is the only reason I'm docking a star. read more

I run an annual event for a local nonprofit, and finding the perfect dress is always this delightful combination of yummy self indulgence and nightmare. Nordstrom Rack saved me this year. Not only are they having a highly convenient shoe sale that means pumps for $15, but they had multiple dresses (some Theory! Some BCBG!) under $60 for me to choose from. The perfect dress for this event means: 1. I can run in it 2. It is modest enough that when I run in it, it will not show my unmentionables 3. It is brightly colored so people can find me ("Oh, Leah? Look for the one in a hot pink ostrich feather ensemble.") I found the perfect dress for a measly $44. My bank account is fervently praying for Nordstrom Rack's eternal existence. read more

If you're in the mood for some discount shopping, and willing to browse the racks - you can find some great stuff here! It's always a pretty busy store, but weekends seem to be the busiest. They move things around constantly and are always getting new stuff, so if you're on a mission to find a particular item your best bet may be to visit a couple of times until you find it. I love the clearance racks here too! They have some great stuff hidden away in there if you're willing to dig for it. I've found Helmut Lang, Vince, DVF, Burberry, and Alexander McQueen in their clearance racks! There's also a huge selection of denim and shoes. Me gusta! read more

NR is actually a pretty great place to just hang out at. I love stopping in and just looking around. Lots of pretty people and lots of pretty stuff. I usually come here to shop for an outfit for an event. I normally have no need to go any where else for anything else when I come here. I can find the entire outfit here and it's really nice. I have to admit, I love quality clothes, so I'm big into designer clothing. NR has a large selection of semi-designer clothing for a fraction of the retail price, so you don't feel robbed when you leave. read more

I am in love with Nordstrom Rack and so is my closet...it's filled with the great deals I've gotten there. I am a regular at three different ones and unfortunately, I have the hardest time getting cool stuff at the Colorado Blvd. one. But alas, it's the closest and so my regular one. Here is the best trick though. Only go to the racks of the departments that you shop at in the regular Nordstrom. This way you are less overwhelmed, know the brands and good pricing and can pick out items you were eyeing in Cherry Creek a few months back. The other tip is to not search for anything specific but rather be open to out-of-season items and unique finds by great designers. read more

There is always a lot of selection and options for both women and mens clothing and shoes. The customer service is amazing. Today I was in to return two dresses. For some reason we could figure out why the purchases were not on my Nordstrom card. I didn't keep the receipt. Jesse who was helping me went over and beyond calling customer service on my behalf, spending 20 minutes on the phone with them, and resolving the issue with a manger. She was absolutely helpful and kind. She kept apologizing for it taking so long. I didn't mind at all. I was just happy she figured everything out. I can always find what I am looking for. The show selection is always plentiful. The clothing options at different price points offer something for everyone. This Rack is the closest to my place, however, I don't often go here. The reason? Bad traffic on Colorado Blvd. In addition, their shoe selection is not as good as the ones in Boulder or Lakewood. I just went to two Nordstrom racks to purchase a suit. The first one I walked around looking for help for 15 min until I finally got help and they told me they didn't have a tailor. So I drove across town to another one and the tailor there was helping her friends out for 45 min. When she had time to help me she was more interested in trying on jackets for herself than she was trying to help me out. I was clearly there to buy a suite and she just focused on her friends more than her customers. All in all this entire trip took two hours out of my day and I still don't have a suit. read more

Oh Nordstrom Rack! Having grown up on Nordstrom's, I can say that you take the service from your regular stores and place it squarely as a cornerstone of this Rack store. I have always had great service here, and there is always a great selection of shoes! The shoes here are amazing. Simply amazing. Good prices. I can also find high-end items reasonably priced, and the dressing rooms- organized and friendly staff. You will wait here on some days for a dressing room. Nordstrom Rack is both a place of necessity and daydreams for my household. My husband tends to find really good deals on clothing in his size (shoe size 15/16, anyone?), as well as knock-out accessories for his dressier attire. In fact, my wedding present to him was an adorable pair of cufflinks that had dice you could roll around inside of them (perfect for our Vegas wedding)! I, on the other hand, can't find clothes here to save my life. Unfortunately it seems that their sizes top out around a 16, and this plus-size princess can't quite hang that. Which leads me to my other weakness--makeup! Right near the registers there's always a delicious selection of makeup/bath/body goodies that I want to bring home with me. Treasures I've scored? Urban Decay 24/7 pencils, Book of Shadows IV, and the wallpaper palette. Oh, not to mention my economy-sized bottle of "Sour Cherry Ice Cream" body wash/shampoo/bubble bath from Philosophy. My husband cringes when I start waltzing over to the makeup, but it's probably better for both of us that I can't fit in the clothing (our wallets would hurt). I always get really excited to dig through the accessories, but I've never found any that catch my eye. Maybe all the good deals get snatched up quickly? read more

When I went to pay the cashiers all looked like they would rather be on fire than help a customer. Also, do you really think your customers want to hear a conversation about Dr Peppper vs Root Beer when dropping their hard earned coin!? Very bad experience! The worst customer service I have ever experienced in a retail environment. The sales representatives were rude, short, dismissive, and did not know the inventory of the store nor did they bother to help me find what I was looking for. I had to go through three separate sales representatives till I found one that would help me find what I was looking for. The store was also completely disorganized and messy, when I asked where a certain brand was I was told by one sales representative that they didn't carry that brand (completely incorrect) and then by another sales representative with a dismissive wave of her hand to "check over there" gesturing to half the store. So Claire S. has a job interview coming up and nothing to wear - luckily a Nordstrom Rack opened up in Denver. Fighting the opening weekend crowds, she was quickly able to identify a stylish and professional outfit in a record time...which makes me happy because I don't have to linger all evening. The women's section is massive, but the men's section is only modest. Some of the clothes that they carry are uber-douchey, but others are quite nice and very modestly priced for the quality. The selection of suits, shirts and ties are quite fun. I am most stoked about the shoe selection...I guess I like new shoes. read more
