This was not my first visit to this Neiman Marcus however I have visited the store multiple times in the last 21 years. This is my first review of the Cherry Creek store. First, I'm disappointed at the mall now charges for parking I am very excited by all of the developments around the mall because there's even more shopping entertainment, and restaurant options This particular visit to the store was intentional to purchase a gift and it did not disappoint. The children's section, although those small was packed with some great selection. We were helped by John in the Brunello Cucinelli section and he was incredible. We also met Sherry, who just relocated from New York City and she was such a delight. This particular store was very impressive because from the winter coat and outerwear selections alone this is equivalent to the entire second floor of the Northbrook store The Moncler selection alone rivals the amount at Ala Moana!!!! About a week ago, me and my son were waiting in the men's department for someone so we decided to look at their clothes, at the mens Brunello Cucinelli items. This white-haired middle age white man with a beard came out if nowhere and kept following us. I have a Neiman Marcus account so if I want to buy something I could have. I was just checking out the fabrics. I was aware of him but ignored the guy. He followed us all the way to men's shoes. I got annoyed and just waited outside. Insanely rude staff. I asked to see a pair of shoes I was planning to buy. I was passed between 4 different associates before I could finally get one to offer to go to the back and get my size. I waited for 30 minutes and the associate had apparently disappeared into thin air. Came back in a few days later with my work clothes on and was shockingly helped right away. What the 'short-staffed' is going on at this store?? I'm in the market for a diamond tennis necklace. Very few selections here, but was told there was a trunk show in FINE Jewelry 4-17 & 4-18. I phoned mid afternoon, Sunday the 18th.....there was NO ONE to speak with. NO ONE in Precious Jewels or Designer Jewelry. One sales person named Patty had a customer (she was the only person in sales and was with a customer....'leave your name for a call back'). I insisted to speak to a manager....'sorry, there is no manager here today'.. I asked the call operator to ring ANY department on the first floor close to the Jewelry dept. A woman in cosmetics answered saying..... 'I can take your number and have 'someone' call you back'. I asked for any person in charge of the store this Sunday. An snooty fast-talking assistant got on the phone.....'we are short staffed, and the trunk show was over yesterday, 4-17.' Is staffing just yanked from passers by in the mall to work at NM? ....one person working in fine jewelry? I was going to come in.....short walk.....but was thoroughly disgusted with this turn of events. Take Saks lead.....just shut down....slide downhill and disappear with all the stores gone in CC. My favorite store in the Cherry Creek mall! The staff are always so welcoming. The bathrooms are always clean. The selection of goods is unbelievable. I also love that Chanel gives facials for their clients. The window display is currently such a vibe for Chanel as well. read more

I would like to highlight Isabella who helped me with picking out a facial cream present for my mom. She was very helpful and her guidance helped me choose the best present. The store is cool. Not as big as I expected. The men's department was surprising small. They carried all the regular brands David Donahue, Eton and Canali. The selection is limited and you have to ask for assistance since the Etons and behind a counter. I guess some people like to have the extra service, I like to browse on my own. The best part of the store is the live music. The disc jockey kept the beat going and was pretty good. I didn't purchase anything in the store just browsed. Generally I have had a positive experience at the store over the years. Today, however, went to pick up an online order item and was treated with a bit of disregard. I was picking up my item early because when I called and spoke with their customer service (who assured me they were at the local store) , I was told I could. So I confidently showed up only to have been questioned (who I spoke with etc.) and told they have no "local customer service" and that I couldn't have talked to them on the phone. I pulled my phone out and re dialed the number from an hour ago and it said Neman Marcus Colorado. She said no, "they are in Dallas". Ok. The employee first told me that I had to wait upstairs at service desk (I initially offered to pick it up at the counter, she said no All online orders have to be picked up upstairs) only to have come back and tell me to follow her to the perfume counter downstairs which was fine by me, I had offered to do that to begin with... the rules appear to be arbitrary. I signed for pick up and she walked off leaving the bag on the counter without a word. I had to question whether I was ok to take it (?) or if she was coming back. Super confusing experience, more than anything it felt like I was bothering them. Hate to complain but will take my business elsewhere from now on. read more

Walked through. Was in here with my wife for maybe 15 minutes each way. No one greeted us but the makeup department looked us up and down and immediately profiled us as having no money. Just because someone looks poor not everyone is. Just so you know bill gates, mark Zuckerberg and Steve Jobs all dressed fairly average. With mark Zuckerberg always wearing sweats and t shirts. It's kind of a funny story, like Julia Roberts in Pretty woman... I stopped by at this store to pick up my online order today. Went to the customer service desk called the number... Someone answered the phone, got my info, then she said she was on her way and asked me to stay on the phone. A woman on the phone walked by me, looked at me, gave me a quick smile, went inside... on the phone she confirmed my info again, then walked out w NM bag, right by me, (I'm still standing at the desk), didn't even look at me again. Then she started asking people at the store if they were picking up an order. I'm also in customer service business. I don't treat customers differently just because they are not dressed up. Its just so wrong! When she walked by me I was on the phone and was waiting by the desk. When she walked out, I was still standing at the same place. I don't know why she didn't have a sense to ask me if I was picking it up?! Especially, after I told her that I was waiting on the second floor by the order pick up. Lesson learned, don't go to NM in shorts and a tank top! Or be Asian, or both. I guess, I didn't look like a person that would buy a nice bag. Guess what, next time I'm shopping at Nordstrom. Reading the other customers review, looks like this store shows huge discrimination against minorities. I usually order stuff online get them shipped to my home. Had a pickup order but wasn't sure exactly where to go once I got inside. A man that worked in the men's department was kind enough to help me. While I waited for my order to be retrieved, he recommended his favorite restaurant when I made conversation about restaurants. He made me feel like I wasn't a bother even though he was clearly busy folding things behind the counter and I had ordered women's accessories, not men's wear. He is truly a gem and I was happy because the item I was picking up was originally ordered on Bloomingdale's because it was out of stock for Christmas here at the time. Bloomingdale's shockingly sent me the same damaged item twice, which I returned twice and gave up to shop here for my belated Christmas gift instead. Neiman Marcus has definitely earned my business!! I went to the Cherry Creek NM on the afternoon of January 22, 2025, in search of several gowns and other pieces I could wear to black tie & formal events. The service was unsatisfactory and did not compensate for the limited selection. Similar to other reviews, I felt like I was perceived as insincere about my shopping aims and suspicious. There were two women in the department: one who assisted me and the other who appeared to be the manager. The manager (I'm assuming) kept following me and each time I just touched a piece, she hurried over to restore some imaginary order and brush off the item. The woman who assisted me came to my dressing room so frequently that she was a nuisance. I wasn't dressed in the nines because I was going shopping. I was, however, dressed appropriately, neatly, and, had they any knowledge of garments, would've noticed the jacket I was wearing over my Vuori pants and leather boots easily equalled the value of any designer gown in that department (this is not to brag about my clothing but to show how inattentive and shallow these store reps were). Again, like other reviews, I found staff at Saks and Nordstrom's far more friendly and appropriately helpful. I also prefer Bergdorf's. It's odd to think Saks, Neiman's and Bergdorf's are all owned by the same parent company yet the service (and culture) in Neiman's can be so substandard. By the way, good selection and excellent customer service are critical ingredients of value, so Cherry Creek Neiman's, you flunk on that level, too. read more

I went to Neiman Marcus with my black girlfriend to buy some boots. We walked to the men's shoes sections and browsed for several minutes, in sight of the stores attendants, and received no request to help. After more time, I approached the idle attendant for the item I was interested in, and he briefly walked us around the selection and, without asking my size or what alternatives he could sell me, told me they had "nothing for you". The service was cold and dismissive. I'll admit my girlfriend wasn't looking her best, she had woken up at my place the morning of and didn't have any day clothes to wear so she had one of my large sweaters and some sneakers. But it was deeply disrespectful to treat us as unworthy customers solely based on her appearance. The experience was antithetical to that at Nordstrom the day before, where I did peasantry managed to buy some four figures in clothes. The Hermès, a short walk from the store on the floor above, has equally great service. Will not return. read more

Morgan Rose & Rhett at Neiman Marcus in the Cherry Creek Mall ROCK! My family & I shop at Neiman Marcus because of their reputation for customer service and (for me) efficiency. It had been a while since I personally shopped at Neiman Marcus but my mom got me a gift card and so I decided to go shopping. Unfortunately, my experiences with their customer service weren't good...to say the least. An order got lost, the replacement item was damaged, and I kept getting passed around to customer service. I made one last effort to contact the store. That'd when I spoke with a manager, Morgan Rose. She completely everything around. Morgan was personable, addressed the problem, and fixed it. It sounds so simple but it seems like that's hard to find. Since then, I've bought several items from the store and worked with Rhett. There was one item in particular that I loved but wanted to wait for a sale. When the item went on sale, she remembered and contacted me. Little details like this are the reason why my family & I shop at Neiman Marcus. Thank you, Morgan & Rhett for going above and beyond! read more

Terrible all around. For one, none of the sales associates attempt to help you, so you end up just standing around awkwardly. If you pick up something very expensive, you have a shot at someone coming to help you so they can make the larger commission. But they will not be knowledgeable or care to help you make the RIGHT purchase, just to hurry up and make the purchase because they are doing you a favor. Secondly, limited selection. Third, totally useless customer service. Last of all, if you apply for a NM credit card, they say you can shop in store immediately or online upon approval, BUT YOU CAN'T. You have to wait two weeks to get the card in the mail because you need the security code which card services can't give you. Apparently it's a new policy but they didn't think to update their website before rolling out a new feature. Outdated all around, no surprise they are going under. read more

My neighbor bought a Veronica Beard Scuba Hadley jacket at a consignment shop for approximately $100. I fell in love when I tried it on. Found out it was $650 at Nordstrom and Nieman's. Reaching the designer department, Jasmin Ko took my call and verified that it was there in my size. I came later that day by bus, dying to try it on. Jasmin is very attractive, extremely fashionable and a salesperson deluxe. She wasn't pushy, but excellent at pointing out features and ensuring the fit. Love this Neimans. They are so nice and they carry the best stuff. I've spent a lot of time shopping here this summer and always greeted by a sales associate who is ready to help. If you need a personal shopper they have those too. Really great store and lovely merchandise. I'm writing this review to give a shout out to Jessie from Chanel in this NM! I was purchasing a preloved bag someone who purchased it from this store. Because of the rampant counterfeit items in the wild, I wanted to do my due diligence to make sure the item was authentic. So I called the store to see if I can verify the receipt. Unfortunately, I called too close to closing time, so Jessie said she will call me back the next day. I honestly didn't expect a call back. But she gave me a call at around 10 am the next day. I was able to send her a text of the receipt and she verified it. She also advised me to check the metal plate number listed on the receipt vs the actual metal plate on the bag. I am SO impressed by Jessie's kindness and willingness to help someone who was not a direct customer of hers. She really came through! What a surprise - a NM that has sales reps that are more full of themselves than the clientele and seemingly discrimine against minorities/ brown people like me. Ive noticed they will slightly acknowledge me if im dressed in an all designer outfit but Most times, (because it's DENVER not NYC) I've gone in wearing a casual nondescript designer clothes and will get NO attention or help even when I'm actively trying to buy something. For example, recently I was looking for some Chanel mules they didn't have and the guy said "we can only order them if you pay for them" so I said "yes I understand, I would like to order them" and he said "i can only order them if you pay for them" but then quickly walked away and never took my order. I waited but he never came back and instead attended an older gaudily dressed lady. I guess he didn't want to make commission off of $1.2k shoes that day from me. Another time I was trying to order some Chanel sandals but the (same) guy said suggested they were last season and they couldn't get them and again just walked away! I had checked & they were indeed a recurring style and re-released this season for pre-fall. I called another store and was able to get them, so? I guess he hates me as much as he hates commission. Also recently, I purchased a blazer and needed it to be tailored. The tailor was rude and didn't want to take the order until I asked her why not. She scoffed and didn't give an answer and started pining away. I suspected because it was a minor change and was probably not going to make her much so asked if they had a minimum. she just said no and gave me my $50 estimate. Then as I'm paying she came back and said "never mind it's $55 because you're buying it on sale". I'm like okay even the alterations staff is too full of themselves to provide decent customer service? These behaviors are not even subtle. When I walk in with my white husband he gets plenty of attention which is hilarious because he wouldn't buy anything from there unless I encouraged him to. He hates the vibe and thinks this NM is "too Denver"and is lame and "fake nice". I have to agree this NM is the ugliest, dated NM I've been to and has a disappointing & super limited selection For all those reasons, this NM never fails to absolutely kill my shopping vibe. Even when they have something I've been looking to purchase, I now opt to only try it on to verify my size but do not buy it here because I don't want to support this store and the negative experience it's staff gives its customers. read more

Went to the shoe department.. tried to get help but Casey and Grace were too busy on their phones, after I asked for a certain shoe they just said no don't have it and looked at me.....like I didn't have any kind of money.... but little did they know I just spent a $1000 upstairs buying a pair of Dolce Gabbana pants. Customer service with the shoe department is despicable I will never buy shoes here again, but I will give credit to Laura Wigod.. i'm not sure if I spelled her last name correctly but she works up in the coat department.... she was amazing! And Patricia Girinnani was also very helpful... Who sold me the pants! for your management, tell your employees to lose the attitude, lose the phones and pay attention to all clients.... you never know who's gonna be spending money in your store! The ladies and gentlemen in the cosmetics, menswear & women's dept were all super friendly and helpful. I'm used to shopping at Saks & knowing the sales team there, but I really liked the approach at NM cherry creek! Awful tailor (don't use them. Low end customer service. Arrogant and don't care. Lots of other high end places you can go. And tried to email Social_Care@neimanmarcus.com but no response. I purchased a jacket and had it altered there. This was in January and because of covid closures had no reason to wear it. I finally got around to trying it on only to find their tailor did an awful job. I brought the jacket back and was unapologetically told I would need to pay for any additional alterations, even though I just wanted them to fix what should have been done right in the first place. I understand quite a bit of time has passed but many of us have had no where to go where business attire was needed. I assumed the tailor did things right the first time. Bad assumption. Also, the sales person was apathetic and simply watched my discussion with the tailor offering no help while the tailor was forward and rude, simply coming back to "that's our policy" (which BTW was never communicated to me). Finally I asked for a manager. Both the tailor and sales person disappeared. I sat there for 20 minutes, searched for them, could not find a single person on the sales floor, so I left. Keep in mind they had my contact info. No one bothered calling me to attempt to make this right. This was not a unique situation. I had a similar experience with rudeness and lack of care previously. It's very disappointing that a high end store has such low end service. Somehow other high end stores figure out how to provide great service. read more

Walked through the mens department at Neiman today and the young guy "working" was leaning down on the sales counter, ON HIS CELL PHONE... didn't notice me enter, and didn't notice me leave. (Walk through the department, and you could make a list of things that could be done, including saying hello to the customers) Is it really any wonder why these stores are failing? Fortunately an older associate recognized me as I was walking by the dressing rooms (where he was sitting), he got up, said hello and offered to help. In the age of E-commerce why should anyone bother to come in store to shop? I came in earlier this afternoon with my partner and our experience was not only a waste of time but incredibly uncomfortable. I came in to try on the balenciaga molded shoe and the five finger vibram pump as well as the balenciaga Lindsay and Le Cargole bags, the employees followed us around the whole time yet still refused to talk to us or let us try stuff on and acted like we were trying to steal. To be fair to the employees we do have alternative style and look very queer but if they were actually good at their jobs or knew anything about fashion they would have been able to spot that I was wearing balenciaga, rick owens and vetements and it wasn't until the lady in the balenciaga bags boutique saw I was wearing a limited edition balenciaga hand bag that she started to chat with us but by that time I was too exhausted by the experience and even if I wasn't wearing an expensive outfit why should they treat anyone less than them. Acting like a bigot snob while working at a failing department store isn't high fashion it's just plain sad and I won't bother coming back. Located at The Cherry Creek Mall, I decided to come by this store with my husband to just browse and see if there was anything I would be interested in buying. Immediately upon entering the store on the 2nd floor, we were greeted by an employee. In fact, I was greeted by several employees during the entire duration of my visit. Luckily the day I came to shop at this store (this past Sunday), there was a clearance sale going on, but only selected items in the store. There was also a gown sale going on as well. Cusp is also inside here. For those of you who are not familiar with Neiman Marcus new store, Cusp, it is a new store that is targeted specifically for younger people with designer named items like Rebecca Minkoff, Theory, Rag & Bone, etc. Back at home, Cusp is a stand alone store so I was surprised to see it inside this Neiman Marcus store. Also wanted to mention that this store had plenty of beautiful coats, ready for winter. But unfortunately where I am from (So. Cal), it just doesn't get cold enough for me to justify buying any. But it was nice to see all these beautiful and stylish coats. If only I had more money to spend, I would shop at Neiman Marcus more often. read more

Poor NM, people hating on them. I like this store. Every time I enter the store I am always greeted and people ask me if they can assist me in anyway. They have nice high end items. I normally am not in the market for those things on a regular basis but when I need an item I go here. Actually I know like 3 salespeople and if I need something I just text them the picture and the item arrives to my house in a few days. They also text me pictures of new items like purses to me. What a terrible customer service! I wanted to exchange a perfume I purchased on their website 3 weeks ago. The answer was "No, we don't do exchanges if the item has been used". Of course it has, that is why I want to exchange it! While the fragrance department sales associate was at least trying to be nice, the cosmetics department associate manager stated, "Most of our clients know our return policy". Sounds like lack of social skills for someone who is supposed to be helpful and friendly to customers! A complete opposite of a luxury experience NM claims to provide at this location. read more

I have been to this Neiman Marcus on a few other occasions and encountered snooty sales associates. I am on the younger side for this area's 'typical' clientèle, but on all occasions enter the store well-dressed and typically in designer accessories / shoes. Still, in the past I have encountered sales people who made it clear that I didn't 'belong'. Tonight, however, I was touched by the service I received from two associates and wanted to make note of it. The first was Emmanuel in women's shoes. I needed to try on a pair of Christian Louboutin heels for my upcoming wedding in April. Despite being busy, and the only associate on the floor, he was genuine and more than happy to help me try multiple sizes of the same style of shoe. Although the size I needed wasn't in stock, he told me he'd be happy to help me order a pair from another store if necessary. When spending close to $1000 on a pair of shoes, this is how you want to be treated as a customer. I also walked through the Chanel section on my way out, and the gentleman working there asked if he could help me - I mentioned that I was just 'admiring' the Boy bags, since it is currently a 'someday' purchase for me at $5500. He still took the time to show me a bag and let try it over my shoulder. I've shopped in Chanel boutiques in Asia, the U.K., and even at the store on Rue Cambon, and the level of service I received from him was just as exceptional (minus the complimentary Champagne). I left NM empty-handed tonight, but utterly impressed with the attentive, personal, and genuine service - and plan to come back to purchase in the future, particularly as they are currently the only stockists of Louboutin and Chanel in Colorado. read more
