One of my favorite places to shop for my myself and my family with Usually great customer service. Bought a cart full of clothes and two pieces ended up not working for me and I brought them back the very next day. I thought I had my receipt in the bag and tried to return both items. I asked the customer service person behind the counter if it was ok if I didn't have my receipt with me and he said he can look it by my credit card. Couldn't find the purchase from the day before from either my credit card or email, then looks at me and asked " are you sure you bought these"? I was mortified to feel like someone would just look at me and assume I stole items from their store. I was so taken aback and started to feel nervous and anxious for no reason. I asked him to keep the clothes behind he counter and let me look for the receipt in my car. I ended up finding it and coming back to finish my transaction. If you train your staff with consideration there should be no reason for customers to ever feel so put down and belittled read more

I tried to buy two t-shirts off the 2 for $25 rack and it took 10 minutes at the express checkout to try and get the pricing right and the clerks couldn't. I walked out without buying the shirts though I wanted them. I guess Nordstrom's doesn't need my business. read more

Great place to find great deals on last seasons merchandise! It still isn't super cheap, but if you're in the market for a new Michael Kors handbag and the $400 price tag at Nordstrom isn't in your budget, you can find last season's model at Nordstrom Rack for half price. I have scored 7 jeans here for $100 and Gucci sunglasses for $95. Still not cheap, but definitely a steal!! read more

Before forewarned, Nordstrom Rack makes it clear that they are not Nordstrom. We received a coat as a gift and wanted to return it, they would not even consider it without a receipt. We had already done our shopping and waited in line over 20 minutes. Not happy with the service. read more

Very disappointed today- finally could get out to do some shopping before an upcoming very needed trip. Had my 10 month old son in the cart but was told I couldn't bring him back in the cart. So should I have still brought him in there let him sit on the floor in the dressing room ? Sorry was not comfortable with that. Then very upset she acted like it was no big deal! Listen as moms I can't just get out very easy all the time to try on clothes. I felt like I should have talked to the manager but I was too pissed. The other week we decided "Let's check out the outlet store of Nordstrom or Saks" so we ended up here. I didn't know what to expect and as we walked in it was packed so the bar was set pretty high since it is a Nordstrom branded outlet store. Alas, our expectations were short lived. Being a guy I guess I suppose the selection here is meh..... All we found were like blinged out t-shirts or golf attire; neither of which appealed to me. We walked around thinking "What is everyone buying here because they are busy but the selection is subpar?" There were lines for the dressing rooms, lines for the cashier, lines for the restrooms, etc. The shoes were all unorganized and rummaging thru racks with other guys, kids,and wives didn't really feel great. There was a table of designer shades but they were all scratched, bent, or mishandled so it felt cheap. Possibly the only thing worth buying here might be the luggage. Customer Service was purely lacking too because no one helped us the whole time but I suppose that comes with being in an outlet atmosphere. This place isn't really my store and maybe I'm not an outlet customer which is perfectly fine. For others, this store was an oasis of bargains so shop away if you must. read more

The bargains are quite amazing here, but I have found the checkout line to be increasingly unbearable. Even though this location is by far the most convenient for me, I will drive to Belmar or Park Meadows. The staff here sees no sense of urgency in getting customers through the line. The checkout station might be fully staffed, but some of the employees are helping other cashiers or doing some kind of restocking. If one or several of the cashiers is experiencing problems with a return, the actual number of active cashiers can be down to one or two people with a VERY long checkout line. I fail to understand why management doesn't address this ongoing problem. read more

Nordstrom Rack is my favorite. This location tends to have the best selection in every department I frequent but it can get ridiculously busy. Try to avoid after work hours or weekends (unless you're there when they first open). Staff here have always been friendly and helpful if you need anything. read more

I had purchased an outfit and requested that it was tailored. The tailor did a poor job and the suit never fully fit me. I tried to return it and I was informed I could not. I was never informed that once alterations were made, that I could not return the outfit. Clear instructions and guidelines need to be communicated to the consumer before a final purchase is made. Poor business communications create a negative reputation. I will not be shopping at any Nordstrom rack location and I will be informing others around me regarding poor communication standards. The manager was 'going to reach out' but they never did. They are prolonging their poor customer experience. They truly have lost my business and I will ensure everyone who ever mentions this location will know how poorly didn't resolve my negative experience. read more

As far as Nordstrom Racks go, this one is pretty good. Not the best selection ever, but I can usually find some great things. Make sure to find a salesperson in a green shirt so you don't have to wait forever for check out. And they can search other Racks if they don't have your size in something, so ask!! read more

Nordstrom Rack is my favorite shopping destination. My husband and I can always find something in our style, size, and budget. In addition to the trendy threads, my favorite part about the rack is the AMAZING service I've received while browsing, making dressing room decisions, purchasing merchadise and making returns/ exchanges. The other day, I needed to return an item and realized that I didn't have my receipt. No problem - they looked it up in the system and credited my card for the price I originally paid. I also had an issue with my premium denim -the material ripped and appeared to have been flawed. The manager took a look, determined it was flawed and credited my account - this is only possible within a certain time frame though. The "above and beyond" service is why I will continue to support Nordstrom Rack and encourage all of my friends, family, and fellow yelpers to do the same. You will not be disappointed! read more

Who doesn't love the Rack? Great location, great prices, great names! And I love the selection of items at the store. I've gotten everything from bridesmaid dresses, to shoes, to workout clothes to jewelry here before. I alwasy go into the store looking for something and walk out with more than I went in for. I love this store for my daughter's shoes, and mine of course. Actaually my hubby's too!! He found really cool funky plaid Polo RL hight tops and wears them all the time. He's very picky, so yeah!! Just went last night to get flats for my 6 year old, super cute plum suede studded Me Too flats... Oh, and those pretty super comfy Vera Wang bejeweled suede flats for just over $100 - sigh- well you get it... I also get my oversized bath towels (Lacoste) or a murse for my metro sexual hubby (Kenneth Cole). Great deals over all, if you know what you want and know your prices of course. Despite the pretty good prices I recommend no one come here especially if you're of a minority race/ethnicity. My younger siblings were standing in line right behind this one white lady w/ a very old white cashier. The lady was extremely friendly towards that lady and as I walked away I heard her yell at my siblings that the line started somewhere else. There were people that just arrived and the lady yelled at my siblings to get behind them because they were "first". That one couple told my siblings to line up in front of them because they saw they were waiting in line for a good ten minutes before being told to move to the "actual line" but the woman continued to yell at my siblings and say that they were there first and should be served first so they should move to the back of the line behind two more people. I immediately walked over and the lady was extremely rude. My siblings started to cry because they felt they were treated differently because they were not white, older, or dressed in name brand clothing. My siblings ages range from 9-13 and all of them felt horrible for even walking in and "ruining" the staff's day. I knew we should have just walked out and put our items back but they still wanted what they picked out. Another cashier ended up helping us and he clearly saw and heard what was happening and as I was explaining the situation to my mother who had just met us there at that moment, he said nothing. No sorry for the service and treatment we received. He didn't even talk to us. All he said was the price and that was it. Our total came up to about $280. My siblings paid for it all on their own. They are paying customers too and you would think that these people would treat them that way. I will NEVER return here and will continue to spread this experience with everyone who may ask. read more

I've been a Rack shopper for many years, and I've always found the frustration with digging through clothes and shoes well worth the payoff -- great deals! But I wanted to write specifically about the great experience I had at the Rack on Colorado Blvd. last night. I was shopping for jeans, which we all know can be difficult and frustrating, especially at discount stores where they usually don't have all of the styles/sizes. The Rack was my third store of the night, and I'd tried on dozens of pairs to no avail. My old jeans were falling apart and I really needed some new ones before I left town for the holidays. I made several trips to the dressing room with armloads of jeans. Every time, I'd flop over a big pile of "No's." to the attendants. I don't have the typical "sample" proportions or whatever (for me, it's tall/big butt/skinny legs), so it takes some doing to find a pair that works. Sometimes, dressing room attendants will seem a annoyed when you keep coming back over and over. They look at you like, "you, again?!" not realizing that it can take a little perseverance to find the right pair. But last night the ladies there were so professional, perky, and sweet. On my third trip back, the girl working there (I think her name was Emma) was like, "I've got to give you props... if it were me I would have gotten frustrated and stormed out by now." I recognized she was a kindred spirit who knows the frustration of trying on jeans. So I finally find a pair that I think might be acceptable, and venture out to the 3-way mirror to inspect them. Emma(?) complemented me on how they looked and told me several other customers had had luck with the same pair recently. They did look pretty good, so I could tell that she wasn't BS-ing me. Sometimes, salespeople can be too pushy, or tell you something looks great when it obviously doesn't, but this was exactly the kind of second opinion I was looking for. Later, when I exited my room victorious, with a pair to actually buy and not hand over to be restocked, she and the other attendants acted all happy for me. No one actually high-fived me, but that's what it felt like. And yes, the pair I bought were the ones she'd complemented earlier. I would say this girl should go work on commission at the Nordstrom department store, but it's great to have people like her at the Rack. It is rare for me to leave a dressing room (after trying on jeans) in a great mood! The only reason this is a 4 star review instead of a 5 is that I wish the Rack would carry more high-end items in the higher sizes, say 10-16. There is a weird gap between the super skinny high-end brands (where a 32 is supposedly a 12 but looks more like a child's 6X) and the plus sizes. It's like the sizes stop at 10 or so and pick up again at Plus-1, which are cut totally differently. Not everyone over a 10 is plus size! Some (if not most) of us are just tall, but not supermodel tall/skinny. A pair of pants with a tiny waist and 40 inch legs -- who buys that? Supermodels don't shop at the Rack. And also, plus-size ladies want stylish things, too. They don't want to buy things that look like something their mother would wear. I just wanted to write this in case the management of the Colorado Blvd. rack is reading these things. SO MANY women fall within that size gap. I know this is also the fault of the labels themselves, but still. But on the bright side, your changing room attendants are doing a great job. Especially since it's the holidays. I've worked in customer service for years, and I know how trying these busy times can be. SO many customer service people are understandably burnt out and zombie-like. But Emma and the other ladies were not only friendly and courteous, but they honestly boosted my mood. Shopping can be fun, but when it comes to certain items (jeans, swimsuits, formal dresses, etc), it can be really frustrating and upsetting. I was enchanted by the zillions of pairs of shoes, clothes, and the great prices! Then, I bought 2 bottles of Light Blue perfume for my daughters as stocking stuffers. ($42.00 ea.) When I got home, I was peeling off the price tags since they are going to be gifts, and guess what I found under the Rack's price? An original $39.00 price tag from Nordstrom the department store. So, I guess because it's the holiday season, the Rack can actually UP the prices from Nordstrom and get away with it? Now I feel compelled to go back and complain, but it's almost an hour from my house. BUYER BEWARE OF UNETHICAL PRACTICES! read more

I travel for work, and tend to quickly stop if I find a Nordstrom Rack anywhere (not one in a 3 state radius where I live). It seemed like the normal experience, but it was before the holidays and as I went to check out the associates were extremely prompt to pull us out of line and check us out on their mobile units if possible. When I had to return the sweater I bought for my husband (picky human, nothing wrong with the item) I called to ask about mailing it in, Blaine gave me perfect simple details on how to proceed and I just received an e-mail with confirmation of my return. Send the receipt, don't have to mail in the credit card number, money back on card. DONE. Thank you guys for being extremely accommodating for us who live off the beaten path! If I am ever in Denver I will most likely be back to this store. read more
