I'm so happy that this location is open. I think the store will do very well in this neighborhood! The selection is smaller than other Nordstroms racks I have been to but it still very good! The staff here is very helpful and friendly. I like how they just started a new "speed check out" you can actually just walk straight up to any of their team members wearing a green shirt and check out with them instead of waiting in line. This has been my go-to store for years now but I'm am losing hope for it...the service has gotten so bad that I can't believe it's part of the Nordstrom brand (speaking of which, I just got off the phone with Nordstrom customer service regarding an online order and the service was impeccable - so maybe it's just The Rack division?). In fairness I have spoken with the manager at this location after a really bad experience over a year ago and she was lovely and very eager to help. Unfortunately my last couple of visits were dismal (ex - recently - excuse me, can you please help me find the match to this shoe? Um, if you don't see it then I don't know where it is...) This location is not great but not bad either. Hence, the 3 stars. The selection is not as broad or high end as the Scottsdale stores, but that just has to do with demographic. I have on occasion found things at this store that were priced cheaper than the Scottsdale store. So that's a plus. This store is a ways for me, but I would much prefer to go here than all the way to Scottsdale. I love being able to go to a Nordstrom Rock and make any necessary returns or exchanges from a regular Nordstrom or Nordstrom.com. They have a variety of things, even came across some Alex & Ani bracelets there! It is definitely aba better shopping experience than at a Ross and if you are patient, you might hit a hidden gem. I was able to score some Rebecca Minkoff earrings for $9.97 and a Rebecca Minkoff crossbody bag for $50. The most difficult part is not buying everything that you put in your cart! Rude, snobby employees. Not only do the employees not greet you, they walk around following you around with a sour face as if your going to steal something. I tried something on in the dressing room and when I came out there was a group of 4 employees hanging out in the dressing room. They kind of looked up again with sour faces and then looked away and continued a conversation that they were having amongst themselves. I guess I'll go to the regular Nordstrom where I get better service. I guess the employees here are off the rack. read more

What a joke this store is. I was browsing in the shoe area, and found not one pair but multiple pairs of shoes that were "Well Worn". Now these were not just worn from trying the shoes on in the store, the heels of the shoes were worn down on one side!. Clearly someone worn them and either passed them off as a return, or simply walked out with a new pair of shoes. The best part of this was the pair of shoes had a "reduced" price tag of 99.00. Nordstrom Rack, get your act together! Do a hands on search for worn shoes in your shoe department. Clean up your act!. Not a fan, wont be coming back. read more

This location is extremely busy. I usually go to the location on Camelback & 16th Street. Maybe it was just that they didn't have a lot of cashiers and I'm used to more but the line was pretty long and it was noon on a weekday and it was busier than the other location on a weekend. I only looked around for a few minutes because I was mainly in the store for returns. The selection isn't as great as some of the other stores and it seemed a bit less organized. The customer service was great - the girl helping me out was very patient and friendly as I had returns from both online and in-store, which she had to look up the receipts for. Overall, I would prefer the other locations since they are close to where I live and have better selections but this one is conveniently located close to work and I wouldn't completely object visiting it again. read more

This used to be our go to store for running shoes! Went on Saturday to get tuning shoes for both myself and husband. We knew what shoe model and size we were needing. Not so friendly greeter at front door informed us we would have to wait at least 30 minutes to be seen by a shoe specialist? We tried explaining we didn't need to be fitted for shoes as we have been in the past that we just needed the boxes pulled and we would be on our way! Nope! We left as well as the gentleman behind us wanting shoes and didn't need a fitting either! Had to drive down to Runners Den and purchase the same shoes! No wonder box stores are going out of business/they refuse to sell to customers unless you wait for a shoe specialist? Seriously?? read more

I think this is my new favorite store. They had a surprisingly good selection of women's, men's, and children's clothing and shoes. They also have accessories (watches, purses, jewelry, scarves, hats, makeup, etc..) and pretty much all of the same selection and variety that would be available at the "regular" Nordstrom stores, but on a smaller scale. I admit that I'm a bit of a label whole and especially love designer denim and handbags. Hudson Jeans are probably my favorite. I would typically spend around $200 on a pair of Hudson jeans at Nordstrom. I was amazed to find Hudson jeans (and in my size) at Nordstrom Rack for less than $60!! I even found my daughter some adorable little Hudson denim shorts for $17. I wish I would have discovered this store a long time ago! I also love that the Nordstrom rack is not totally across town for me. There is a difference in their return policy from the typical Nordstrom stores. At the typical Nordstrom stores the return policy is not limited to 45-days with tags attached. read more

After posting this review a very sweet woman called me and said they found my top on the ground at the cashiers station. I went back in and got it and she apologized. Thank you for admitting you made a mistake. HORRID EXPERIENCE!. I shopped at this store today. I paid for 7 items but when I got home there were only 6. Alicia the cashier was so focused on getting me to sign up for a charge card that I think the item never got included in my hanging bag. I untied the bottom of the bag when I got in my closet to find the red T-shirt I paid for was missing. I called and talked to the manager. They said they basically did not believe me.. no they would not give me the shirt I bought that I never got! Said they have a video but they can not show me it. I want as proof!! I explained again that I got home the bag was tied at the bottom securely and when I untied it to get the clothing out one item was missing. it could not have fallin out!! I never made it in the bag. I'm disgusted with the Very bad customer service. It's just depressing. Plus the Over push on the whole charge card sign up thing was stressful to have to listen to 4 times,.,. It was the most horrible shopping experience at Nordstrom Rack - Arrowhead! I usually shop at Nordstrom Rack stores at east valley. It was my first time to visit this store on 07/22/2017, and it would be my last time absolutely. I wanted to purchase a pair of black suede booties at Nordstrom Rack - Arrowhead, AZ on 07/22/2017. However, when I checked out, I was told that the red tag price $19.48 on one bootie was wrong, the correct price should be $149.97 on the other bootie. They refused to sell them at the lower price, though they admitted that the price was wrong, which is their fault. In the entire conversation, they did not apologize at all, just said "OK, OK, OK". For me, that was NOT OK!! It is your responsibility to make sure all pricing is correct and accurate before the store is open. My job as a customer is to shop and pick the items that I like, not to find out the errors that you've made. When it turned out an error, why should I be punished to pay 8 times more for your fault? Then I contacted facebook customer service for the first time on 07/23/2017. I did receive the call back from the manager at that store on the afternoon of 07/25/2017. The manager said that she knew what booties that I was talking about, she would like to sell me at the lower price if she could find them, and promised that she would give me call back regarding this matter. Unfortunately, I missed that call in about 10-15 minutes, the manager did not leave me any message or has not tried to call me back as of today. DON'T promise the customers for something that you could never fulfill. Nobody wanted to be cheated again and again! read more

Nordstrom rack is a great store to buy brand name items at a high discount. Their shoe selection is vast with options for dress, casual, and sporty. Clothing is available in a variety of styles with lots of current options. Accessories like jewelry, sunglasses, bags and luggage are available in abundance. Recently they introduced a brew checkout system where almost any associate can do the process with their handheld devices. This is great for busy weekends or shopping season. They have their own sectioned off lot with lots of spaces. read more

I went here right before I left for Bali looking for a raincoat when I discovered it would be raining a lot during my trip. Let's just say that although they had cute things here, they don't have a lot of sizes to choose from so be thin. Also they didn't coats made for rain. They had them for snow but none for just rain. I didn't need to be warm in 100% humidity, I just needed coverage to keep me dry. Also I needed simple black pants for work but as stated before, be thin or don't shop here at all. read more

Went in to do a return, and the cashier asked twice if I wanted to apply for a credit card. I politely declined. Then the manager or supervisor standing there asked two more times! After declining again, I found myself having to justify why I said no. It's no ones business why I won't apply for one, and no means no! Doesn't matter if I pay it off in full each time as she mentioned, it's a credit card! I don't need another one on my account for many obvious reasons! After reading Ann's review, I felt the need to write about my wonderful experience at Nordstrom Rack a few days ago. I want to start out by saying this is by far the best and cleanest Nordstrom Rack location I have ever been to. I went in with my wife and son. Everybody there was very helpful and friendly. In the kid's department, I was helped by both Barbara and Heather. They were both easy to talk to and really wanted to show us some of the merchandise they had just gotten in. Next we went to the men's department and Casey and Brandon helped me pick out a new pair of Mek jeans. They had a great selection and I will definetly be back in again soon. I don't think I'll be shopping here anytime soon. I bought two very nice shirts that I was only able to wear once! I was very disappointed. The day I bought the shirts I washed them and then wore them later that week. As I was wearing the shirt all of a sudden the beads on my shirt started falling. I tried to stop it but the string they were on just kept coming undone the more I tried fixing it. I ended up just taking the shirt off. The same thing happened with the other shirt as well. I have come here twice to try return items that fell apart within the first week I had them. The first time I didn't have my receipt (and had paid cash oops!) so understandable. Second time (found my receipt yay!) within the return window and the manager said no returns because they needed to still have the tags attached. What???? Came here to buy cubic zirconia earrings. I would say 90% of the earring back posts are so bent they are ruined. Brought the pair I really wanted to cashier and they cannot discount it but instead will 770 it to the last chance clearance store. So instead of selling for a fair price for a damaged product and sell to a customer right in front of you. Take it back and tell them no we will let our other store sell it for a cheaper price. LOL the worst customer service ever! The girl that helped me was nice enough but the policy stinks!!!!! read more

OMG I STOOD IN LINE FOR 30 minutes and didn't get close to the registers. Your cashiers are as slow as molasses and are not efficient st moving customers they the line quickly. Too chatty. The young man who I assume was the manager stood facing the entrance and seemed unaware of how LONG the line was or how slow it was moving. I walked out and do did another customer. Place is great for Jean, at least it was for me. Found a couple of $150 designer jeans for $75 and my wife found a ton of stuff too. You have to stop in every 3-4 months to see new stock since the men section is not huge but they stuff they get isn't bad for a discount store with designer names. We spent an extra 30 minutes in line setting up a Norstrom account with my wife's debit card so we can get $40 to spend and $100 credit toward alterations...so my jeans were altered for free. Waiting to set it up was annoying and I never get how wasting 30 minutes of a customers time is worth a stupid card for some sort of credit. read more

A girlfriend of mine and I come here all the time and I'm in love. Whether it's getting higher end make-up, or higher end clothing and shoes, I have yet to find better deals! The staff is always pleasant, the prices are nice and reasonable, and everything is so easy to find, as the store is so neat and organized. There is never a long line, because if one starts to build, associates will pull you out of line if you aren't paying cash, and run your card on a hand held machine.
