I arrived already 10 cm dilated, and the doctor came in while things were pretty chaotic but handled everything very calmly. I wasn't able to get an epidural in time, but she still advocated for me and supported my request to try, which meant a lot. She also guided me through different positions to help me push more effectively, which made a big difference. I especially appreciated her communication when our daughter's heart rate was dipping during contractions. She kept us informed and gave us a thoughtful heads-up about possible next steps without making us feel rushed or pressured. Very grateful to have a healthy baby and such a smooth recovery so far!

The appointment did not feel rushed, she asked many questions and also listened to my concerns seriously. She is very knowledgeable and gave feedback on what could be done / tested on my concerns & what wouldn't be helpful, and she also help set up any follow up tests necessary. My only wish is that it's easier to find appointment availability as I had to book months ahead, but I think that speaks to how great she is! Dr. Rebekah Neal from Valerius Medical Group has been my rheumatologist for the last few years. I…read morehad been having a lot of back pain for several years and other doctors just told me it was a muscle spasm or they didn't know what it was and just gave me pain meds or sent me to physical therapy which didn't work. When I finally found Dr. Neal she didn't just write me off but took the time to talk to me and asked a lot of questions other doctors never did. She thought I had ankylosing spondylitis (even though I am a woman and it's not nearly as common in women as in men) and sent me for x-rays. When those were negative she sent me for an MRI and I was FINALLY given the diagnosis of ankylosing spondylitis. She started me on Humira and within a couple of weeks I was feeling better. Now I am living pain-free and can do anything I want without worrying that it's going to take days to recover. I do have to wait in the waiting room awhile sometimes to see her, but I know that's because she cares and takes the time with her patients instead of just rushing them out the door. Although I relocated I still make the drive to Long Beach because she is so knowledgeable and kind and went to bat for me when my new insurance company didn't want to cover Humira. I have referred a few family members to her medical group for other reasons and they are all really happy with their treatment. I highly recommend this group and specifically Dr. Rebekah Neal to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and caring rheumatologist.

He got the best vascular surgeon in town, and made sure my wife had the best care possible. In 2005, when I had a quadruple bypass at Memorial hospital, who came in unannounced? Dr. Ceverha...cracking jokes and making sure I had everything I needed. Just a great, skilled doctor, and a helluva guy. I'd dare to say I can call him a friend. He's THAT good. BTW...He's retired.

This meant contacting a hospital in New York to track down notes from the last two years. This took a couple months. Sure glad I no longer have a life threatening condition. No thanks for making this process difficult. He also discounted the actions of my doctor by putting me on cholesterol lowering medication. Trust the studies doctor, this has been proven to have positive results in patients like me. The real issue rests with the administrators. When I was seen for podiatry I referred to a third party for orthotics. I contacted the doctors office several times and when I finally got a call back they had me call the third party myself. It took so long that my referral expired. The doctors took no responsibility for the lack of care and I was told to work it out with my insurance. The lack of regard for their patients is appalling. I still don't have a solution and it's been six months. I intend to recommend that tricare never refer any military members anymore to this medical group. You will be seen as a customer to make money off of. Extremely disappointed and will never return. Same goes for my children with doctors in the same complex.
