Great facility, and an overall great time! An awesome place for kids to learn how to start jumping!

Just looking at the height of the ski jump gave me the shakes.

We stayed one night in a suite on our way from the Wisconsin Dells to Milwaukee. It was spacious…read moreand well-kept, with dishes, silverware, a toaster, a blender, and a dishwasher. The patio was small, but it was private and comfortable for cocktails and morning coffee. The water park was great. Our four-year-old granddaughter loved it, and we enjoyed it as well.

I enjoyed my stay here with my 3 and 5 year old. The Waterpark is a good size for younger children,…read morebut probably not big enough to keep older kids entertained. I love that the room had a stovetop and full fridge so that we didn't have to eat out every night, especially when my young kids barely ever finish a meal. The kitchen was stocked with 1 pan, 1 large pot, 4 large plates, 4 small plates, 4 bowls, and some glasses. It was enough for us to get by for a couple days but I did have to run the tiny dishwasher once during our stay. I brought my own dishwasher pods but I saw they had 1 pack of detergent available. I forgot about the lack of oven and bought frozen pizza, so don't be like me! The arcade is way too overpriced. I came to realize that you're paying $10 for each Virtual reality ride. Most of the games cost a couple bucks each. It would be better if you could get a card that worked unlimited for an hour. I think between my husband and I re-upping our cards, we spent $500 at the arcade & bowling alley over 3 days. My kids did love the mini bowling lanes, but again at $6/player/ game, it added up quickly. I didn't feel that the room was that outdated. I loved the big whirlpool tub, but one of the jet covers would fly off any time we turned it on. All in all, I'd return but mostly because I want to go to the nearby Safari when it's open for summer.

I spent one night at Grand Geneva Resort & Spa for a work conference, and my arrival was memorable,…read moreto say the least -- the power was literally out, as a tornado has come through the area that evening. I navigated finding the property, parking, hallways, and my room in the dark. Everything felt calm and organized as it could be once I was in the room. I didn't do nighttime entertainment exploring of the resort though due to no power. As a hotel and conference space, it worked very well. The grounds are expansive, the facilities were solid for meetings, and breakfast was enjoyable. I later learned it once housed a recording studio that one of my favorite albums was recorded at (as part of a Playboy Mansion outpost) which makes me curious to return and explore more. Overall, a solid stay -- 4 stars.

The Christmas decorations were nothing short of amazing. Literally Christmas EVERYWHERE. and the kids could climb on anything. They do a cute little Santa letter pick up by the elves every day at 4pm and my daughter loved this. Our suite was nice. Comfy bed. Updated. Highly recommend upgrading to a suite if you can afford it. Room service was just OK, the first night we called it went to voicemail and they never called back. It was odd. The service was so-so. Front desk staff were great. The brunch spot in the lobby had terrible service... they didn't even think to ask we needed a high chair or chair in general for our little one. Just sat us with no seat for her. The bar in the lobby had one bartender. It took 40+ minutes to get drinks. Overall, I'd come back for the nostalgia of Christmas! But I will be going into town more often for services and food.
