This is not the first time I have relied on NATCO Transmission for service. And will not be the…read morelast. This place just recently changed ownership, and the new ownership had a very high bar to achieve just to maintain the service excellence I had received in the past. My 2021 suburban with GM's pathetic failure of a 10 speed has been having shifting issues for a long time. I had taken to the stealerships a few different times while under warranty and ofcourse they claimed it was fine every time. Now that the warranty expired, if failed. GM, of course, is refusing to make things right - so while exploring legal action, I still need to get it back on the road. So I brought my Suburban to Shaun (the new owner of Natco). Shaun and his entire team took excellent care of me, made the repairs and got me back on the road. They have secured theribbon of excellance !! Thanks to all of you and NATCO.

Then they gave me my options a long with the pricing in which they were spot on !!! I have done work with many other places which the prices keep changes and many call backs.... These folks did the right thing and there were no price changes and the work done was awesome and the dates they told me were spot on !!! I sure hope I do not need there services again BUT if I do I would go back in a heart beat !!! Awesome people to work with !!! Thanks to all the folks at Natco......

I took in my son's 2012 Sienna for struts, front-end work, and a transmission drain and fill (not a…read moreflush). I had changed the radiator and told them that I lost some transmission fluid, so it might be a good time to change the transmission oil. Our son had trouble within the week with the van shifting irregularly and making noise. It has been a couple months and it has gotten to be a danger to drive. Linear says it needs a new valve body assembly ($5K) and Toyota says it needs more than that... a new transmission ($7K)! The van drove absolutely fine until Linear changed the tranny oil. In hindsight I've learned that they shouldn't have touched the transmission oil other than to top it off. Firestone for example will not touch the tranny oil on a vehicle with over around 120K miles on it. Subaru says they do not do "flushes", only drain and fills. Linear tells me they didn't do a flush, but who knows. The Car Care Nut guy (on-line) with some 25 years of exp working for Toyota say do not change the oil if the vehicle has over 100K and has never had it's trans oil changed. Linear, the professionals, should have asked me if this Sienna had ever had its tranny oil changed and I would have told them...likely never. Our son's Sienna has 168K and now needs a new transmission and of course they take no responsibility and simply say, "You asked us to change your transmission fluid." They also replaced a clutch on my 2001 Miata. They told me it was ready to pick up and when I started it, it sounded like the exhaust had fallen off. They hadn't tightened up the bolts underneath the car! As well, the booty on the stick shift was cracked, the shifter was busted and the shifting was very sloppy (a plastic bearing of sorts was broke), and the shifter ball spun around! A couple weeks later I found two screws in my center counsel compartment that were not holding down the center compartment. It took three trips in to get it "ready for pick-up"! I learned that Tony, the mechanic had left the company (or was fired?). It has been very stressful for our son and his family of four young children. So much for having faith in the initial referral from Slims Automotive in Andover, MN.
