I wish I could give negative stars! These guys are scammers. I was a loyal customer for over 14 years, every car I owned came to them for tires. I made the mistake of getting other repair work done from them. They worked on a couple different things for my vehicle two separate times, the second time my vehicle was kept overnight even though it was supposed to be done same day and when I get it back it's running weird. So, I call and ask the owner what happened. He asked me to bring it back in after the weekend. I brought it back and he tells me my catalytic converter is clogged. Funny thing about them, they don't just clog overnight at random while the car is not even being used. I told him there is no way and he said he couldn't have clogged it but he can fix it for me right now by putting a straight pipe on it and removing the "clogged" converter. I don't know anything about cars and I trusted him, he's been doing my tires for 14 years! Plus, I had to work and I travel so I needed my vehicle that day. When I drove off, the car was still acting the same as before so I called him. He sounded nervous and told me to bring it back in when I can. I took it to another mechanic instead and he found the cable cut on one of my spark plug wires. A clean cut. This act of greed could have done some serious damage and even started my vehicle on fire. It's clear the cable was cut to create the desired effect to be able to steal my very valuable catalytic converter. They're con artists and scammers and will do dirty things to get what they want. I got to the establishment at 9:15 on 11/10/2020 there was a long line so I had to leave . One of the employees Edwin said to ask for him and I wouldn't have to wait when I come back . I returned to the place around noon . He inspected the car and told me all tires were bad . I came in because one of my tires had low pressure . Edwin said I needed all new tires . I said fine and asked about used tires . He said that they wouldn't do my car no good (LIE) . In all my years this is the first time I'm hearing this . I didn't have time to go to another place so I said I will get 2 new tires for the cost $190(OVERPRICED) This is more than Firestone and GoodYear . Fast forward to me receiving my car the low pressure light is still on (SAFETY CONCERN). I told him and he said I needed to drive (LIE) . This is not the 90s my car reflects the air pressure in real time . I had to go to a gas station and put air in my tire to get the light to off. Ridiculous since I just left a tire shop . Now my new ti is reading 29 air pressure and the brand does not match my receipt . The rims were not even securely put back on my car . Do not go here . They don't care about safety . UPDATE : I went back the next day and Ahmed did follow up and give excellent customer service and offered me a free oil change to compensation for the poor execution . They did fix the new tire I purchased . My only annoyance is that the originally reason I came in was never addressed . They were so focus on getting my money my rear tire was never checked. I ended up going to Absolute Tire and Wheel on Broadway and I only needed a patch on the rear tire . I paid $20 . So I paid $190 for two new tires for no reason . Wish I would of found this place first . The people at Absolute are honest and said let me check your tire first and I will let you know if you need a new one or not . read more

I had to wait but it was well worth it. I have a 27 yr old Blazer that was having issues. I initially brought it to Bobby & Steve's, then to my backyard mechanic. Neither of them could figure it out. Because I had been to Tires for Less on Lake/3rd and had a good experiece before I had a good feeling that they would figure it out. First, the receptionist is short and brusque, and also, after 10 minutes on hold, told me they had the used tire I sought for 45 bucks. Once I arrived, they tried the classic bait and switch and showed me a snow tire for 50 bucks and 2 beat up, not road worthy tires for 35 bucks. They showed absolutely no consideration for the time and effort I expended to drive there, and no apology. I did not buy the tire at Tires for Less and will never go back there. Instead, I happened upon Omar's Tire Shop on South Pillsbury, who sold me a very good used tire and at a lesser price. Don't waste your time with Tires for Less....they should rename it Tires for More, or Buy the Tire you did not order. read more

I was able to put a donut tire on but needed to buy a new tire and have it installed fairly quickly as I need to drive back home tonight. They were very kind and funny, and they have their system down to a science. I like these guys. Fast and efficient. They don't mess around, you will be in and out of there relatively fast, even when their busy. I've bought used tires with 60% tread left for a fraction of the price. Don't expect red carpet, dealer-style service. This is a down and dirty, hole in the wall, get the job done kinda place. I've used them twice now (no issues at all), my boyfriend uses them, now my brother and friends go there too. I'm subtracting a star not for their service but more for lack of curb appeal and waiting room could use improvement. *EDIT: Waiting room has been upgraded, more seating and much more comfortable. I came in on a Wednesday night to have my two front tires changed. One of the new-used" tires I purchased had a hole in it apparently because the next morning my tire was flat. I couldn't drive on the tire at all! So I came to bring it back on Tuesday the following week. Keep in mind I already paid for both "new-used" tires. I didn't bring the car because I couldn't so I just brought the tire, simple tire exchange, shouldn't take long right? I waited almost two hours just for a tire exchange.
