The vibe is 10/10. The drinks were sooo tasty and unique. Price is fair. It's a great place to go with friends and have a nice time. Bartender was super personal and fun

AWESOME AMBIANCE!! Very tasty coffee! I really enjoyed the simple drip, which had an almost caramel-like flavor. However their pastries were very very dry and had the texture of being left out for quite a bit. The brownie had very little chocolate flavor and super sugary. However I would really recommend trying out the coffee and enjoying the ambiance. Very cool!

Quaint, cozy spot with seating that brings together people from all walks of life -- from elderly regulars to college students studying, which gives the place such a warm, community feel. The atmosphere is inviting and comfortable, perfect for lingering. I ordered the tuna melt on sourdough and really wanted to love it. Despite asking for mayo, it felt a bit dry and was lighter on flavor than expected. That said, my sister ordered the New Yorker and absolutely loved it, so it may just be that their breakfast sandwiches are where they truly shine. Customer service was great, and there's a nice variety of breads and desserts, including vegan options (though I didn't get a chance to try them this time). Overall, I'd definitely come back for the aesthetics, the cozy vibes, and to try more of their breakfast offerings -- this feels like one of those neighborhood gems you want to support.

What an adorable place! Great coffee and good food. Someone suggested I try something with a biscuit, and they were right. Homemade biscuits rock my world! The staff is lovely, service with a smile. And the place is cozy, especially on a snowy Sunday morning. So glad we came!

Super cute cafe in wappingers! I love to come here for a coffee or a sandwich! I will say that they use a lot of butter!! A sandwich is usually shared amongst the table since it's a bit too heavy for me (someone who is not used to that amount of butter). But there are a lot of options for anyone! My matcha could have been mixed a little better, there were powder clumps at the bottom :/

Great place for delicious pastries, unique sandwiches with fresh ingredients and many options of bread or biscuits. All sorts of warm beverage options and definitely more than a coffee house. Loved the outside option for dining - perfect to enjoy the outdoors which we did. Everyone behind the counter was friendly and helpful in placing our order - you receive a small beeper that alerts you when your food is ready which was rather quick. Wished we lived closer so we could frequent Norma's regularly.

Bacon egg and cheese on sourdough with a matcha latte

Went there for the first time and it was amazing! Breakfast sandwich was so fresh and hot. Sourdough bread was perfectly crispy and the overall just a great sandwich. Matcha latte was also good. You order at the counter and they make your drink right away. You are given a buzzer that lets you know when your food is done. There's plenty of seating. The WiFi is a bit slow and patchy so be mindful if you plan on doing work here. There are outlets along the wall if you need to charge any electronics. Street parking can be a bit cumbersome during peak hours, but there is a public lot in the back by the village creamery.

Norma's is a gem of a coffee/breakfast/lunch spot on Wappinger's Fall's Main Street. Pros: - Super charming interior with a beautiful white countertop to order food and a large back room with plenty of eating tables, a stage, and a kid's corner. - Huge menu of beverages, and breakfast and lunch options. Recommend the biscuits: I loved the sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit and the plain butter biscuit (although it would have been stellar if it came with a side of berry compote or jam), cheesy hash, ham egg, and cheese sandwich, and the goat grilled cheese. My friends loved the iced macha and my hubby loved his lemonade. - I was elated to see the kid's corner with a toddler table & chairs, children's books, and many toys. My daughter and friends played there the entire time, letting the adults enjoy their food without major distractions. Looking forward to coming back.

I'm surprised how often independent coffee shops aren't open early when I travel. Ideally, I want a 6:30 am option, but I'll take 7, and frequently settle for 8 or later. On my recent trip to Wappingers Falls, Norma's had me covered for 7. And that made me happy. I visited early two days in a row. The space is very impressive. One of a kind impressive. Norma's is split into parts. The portion where you order your coffee and food and pick out cool snacks. That part is nice. And the huge room with immaculate brick walls, lots of gorgeous wood, plenty of seating, open space, paintings of sunflowers and a stage. I can only imagine what happens in this room beyond everyday socializing. Maybe open mic nights. Acoustic bands. Parties. Meetings. Showers. Game nights. This room is an asset and I'm sure it gets put to good use. I hope it does! It's too beautiful to waste. The Norma's black iced coffee was above average. Good. Reliable. The three cookies I tried were about average if I compare Norma's to a bakery, and a bit above average if I compare them to other coffee shops that serve cookies. Perhaps a little more done than the soft cookies I prefer. That was pretty much the family consensus since we split them. Service was good. I'm thankful for independent coffee shops like Norma's when I travel. The steady flow of business both days lead me to believe the permanent folks like Norma's too. If Norma's had an average space, this would be about a 4 Star review. But the large room is such a unique asset, I'm going to upgrade my review to 4.5 Stars.

First of all; I wanna say I love the ambiance of this place. They have a piano, they do events and live music, they have a little gift shop, couches, BOOZE, good place to do some work or just eat and hangout with friends. Their pastries are so good. Their drinks so good. Their food was good BUT....my sandwich had a long hair in it which I didn't discover until I ate it half way through. That itself just ruined my meal. I would come back though and just look out for anything that should not be in my food or drink......

This place is a hidden gem so good breakfast is always a hit! Ice coffee so good always packed but worth the wait.

Quick and friendly staff, delicious sandwiches, comfy, cozy dining room, and an interesting selection of baked goods made for an impressive first visit. The shop is inviting both on the outside and inside, and walking in, we realised there was a whole other separate room for eating in, and the overall warmth of that room was refreshing. Although it took us a few minutes to browse the menu but the staff were patient with us, and they were perfectly friendly and helpful. Someone brought out our food and the sandwiches looked just as impressive as yso the pics on Yelp. The chicken salad had a surprisingly mild dressing and overall flavour, and the ciabatta was hearty without chewiness. The Californian, the vegan version without added protein, was even more delicious than the chicken salad, and the chilled onions and tomatoes, zest from either parsley spread or hummus, and the tender and flavourful wholegrain roll = a fiesta in my mouth. There are several things on the menu we'd love to try, so they can count on us to return.

I loved this place and can easily become my favorite breakfast spot. Great service, beautiful ambiance, and a great selection of sandwiches. The menu is limited but you can mix and match. The breads are freshly made and so delicious. Their baked sweet treats looked delicious but could not try them since we were so full of sandwiches.

If I tried to speak at all that is rude??? This was after her daughter hung up on me without even letting me complete a sentence. So I called back and the owner answered. I bought two $5 scones that turned out to be baked yesterday and were cold and hard from being kept in the refrigerator. According to the owner **I** was supposed to ask if they were fresh, or cold, or needed to be warmed up. It was all on me to find out. Really??? I wasn't supposed to assume they were fresh. Seriously?? It's a bakery. The **common and accepted practice** for a bakery is to sell "day old" baked goods as just that.....day old, and for a slightly lower price than same day freshly baked. Customers are supposed to know that they are buying a day old product and not same day fresh. The fact that they are selling a product and not selling it as day old is dishonest. Why would a customer be *expected* to ask if the scones are fresh? And one wonders how many days they would continue to sell those same refrigerated and old scones? I have purchased from their stand at the Beacon Farmer's Market many times and loved it. The young man who I buy from is great, always friendly and nice. The woman, who I assume is the owner is a horrible, rude woman. She went on a tirade about how I was supposed to find out if the scones were fresh, just on and on and on, and about how rude I was and my "tone". In her opinion the customer is always wrong. Awful person, obviously on the defensive. What a horrible way to run a business and a horrible and unprofessional way to interact with a customer. Just an awful woman. Here's a little tip....if you let the customer speak, finish a sentence and listen to them rather than not allowing them to speak they might not have that "tone". As soon as I tried to speak I was "rude", simply because I was speaking and not listening to her tirade. This woman is the rudest and most hostile business owner I have encountered. Oh.....I also bought a pie....that I just looked at. I specified apple and strawberry. The box is labeled apple and strawberry but the pie inside is blueberry. And the bottom crust is not done.

Instead of addressing my concern professionally, she initially laughed when I explained what happened--which felt incredibly dismissive and unprofessional. To make matters worse, she casually mentioned that she didn't see any missing water caps, as if that somehow resolved my complaint. I even offered to bring back the half-eaten wrap as proof, but the conversation continued to lack empathy or responsibility. She then asked if I wanted a refund or a replacement wrap. At that point, I explained that I just wanted a refund, not more food from a kitchen where bottle caps end up in customer orders. The whole situation left me really unsettled--not just from the physical contamination, but from the lack of genuine concern. Overall, this experience makes me question the hygiene practices behind the scenes and the way customer complaints are handled. This Kung Fu Tea is spotless - part combination of them being brand new, part kudos to their team for keeping it clean. The seating is spaced out so you won't feel crowded. I can see meeting a couple of friends here and hanging out over some bubble tea. The drinks are as expected from KFT - I don't know if they share recipes across chains, but their drinks are consistent and delicious. I always go for half sugar, less ice when the option is available. I will say, my favorite item here is anything matcha foam - which is crazy because I hated foam drinks before.
