I don't know if she did that to me on purpose of it was her ignorance. Nevertheless, a manager should know better. The music was R&B and hip hop, the cleanliness was poor, and when I spoke to the owner regarding my poor experience she seemed empathetic but annoyed all in one and didn't offer any complimentary services for what I had endured. I'm honestly traumatized from it all, I cringe when I pass by that shopping center. Ladies, love yourself enough to spend what you need to pay, b/c you'll end up paying more in peace of mind and experience.

But I can't remove my head so I have to get someone else to do the length of the bob. They had me use a girl who absolutely should not be a hairdresser. She could not cut my hair. It was off over an inch and a half on one side longer. And when it's a Bob, it really shows. I asked her to cut more off and tried to show her how to check lengths. It was too long, but she said she had to go. I just called the salon and asked for somebody else to cut the bottom of my hair, and they said they would give me a discount and someone would do it for only $35 as long as I left with my hair wet. Which is what I was gonna do anyhow. You have to be kidding me!?! I just paid this other girl that same amount of money and gave her $10 tip because she is inept, and I felt bad for her. I figured she'll get fired soon. I have already paid. They used to be a great Salon, but apparently they're not anymore. And the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. I would never go there. I will show a friend and teach them how to cut the length of my hair before would go there again. And considering I used to teach with Jay's students too, I could teach a monkey how to cut hair. Don't go there.

I called Saturday for an appointment for my nieces hair because she had homecoming that night. Yes, I know it was last minute but things came up. I asked for a simple updo and I mentioned on the phone several times that she is biracial and her hair is very very curly. I asked if this is a type of hair texture that she feels comfortable with doing and she assured me it is no problem at all. I show up for the 4:00 appointment and she doesn't see us until 4:25 because she was running behind. I show her the picture we want (see attachment) and she happily said, "oh yea, that's no problem at all" as she begins to do her hair it becomes clear that she might not know what she's doing but we let her continue. She then STOPS and takes a phone call for 5-8 minutes (she was already running behind and we have a dance to continue getting ready for) she comes back and continues. After another 15 minutes she turns her around and is done.....I seriously could not believe what her hair looked like. I asked her about the twist we wanted and she tried and that failed as well. Finally, I just said, "ok that's good and thank you". She charged me the $30 and I wanted to not pay SO bad but I didn't want to make a scene with my niece there. Here are the pictures of the mess this "stylist" wanted my niece to wear at homecoming! This was her first homecoming and we got in the car and the tears starting falling! Thankfully we called her aunt and she was able to do something and she looked beautiful. I do understand that she might not have known what to do, BUT she could have easily said, " I'm sorry but I'm not really sure what to do" she could have said anything but she didn't and she actually thought it was ok to make my niece look like this. I am hoping and praying that another little girl does not have to deal with this. This was very embarrassing for my niece and my frustration about this matter is unbelievable.
